After about ten minutes Vera silentely appeared downstairs and carrying the box of ammuntion under her arm, the rifle on her back. Unsure what to do know, except having the lingering feeling that they should probably move by now, she leaned against the wall close to Jos and started cleaning her nails.

Jos wiped his eyes as soon as she came in, he placed the picture back where it was. "Let's move, the dead might have heard us making a whole lot of noise." He hoped she didn't see him cry, he just hoped she didn't ask what happened. He looked at Vera. "What'd you get?"

Vera didn't really care that he cried. It meant he was honest.. and that he had eased up around her, which was something good aswell.
"Just some ammo." She answered and rustled the box gently. "We need to find some backpacks as soon as possible though.."
She sighed and added "..and some new clothes.." under her breath.
After all, she had already cut holes in her pocketless jail clothing, so it was not weatherproof anymore.
