She was skeptical. "Don't you mean if you get back? Why didn't you demand half up front?" She paused a moment, taking the time to think and to listen to his replay before asking a third question. "What kind of job was it anyway?"
"Did get half, my family have most of it. I took some with me to have as spending money...and protection, or anything that involves fighting really." He said shrugging. "And you? what do you do for money?"
She smirked. "Oh I do all kinds of things. Make earth dolls as people describe their loved ones to me, show off with water and sometimes fire if I feel brave. I join martial arts contests, sometimes wrestling contests. I look for lost pets, or protect people from "bandits". Anything that calls for a job and some cash really."
(I'ma end up passing out here soon lol)

(I'm not too far off behind you.)
"Earth dolls? Never mind, so I think it's about time we got some sleep." He said, then layed down, and turned onto his side, his back to the fire. "Night..." he said over his shoulder.

Liza would have replied, but her breathing had already evened out into the breathing of sleep.
Artair kept waking up though the night to keep the fire going out. He watched her in his very warm looking cloak...He layed back down again, crossing his arms and fell asleep again
Shita awoke with the rays of the sun and stood up. She turned around and was halfway through taking off the cloak when she gasped. The cloak fell, most likely on top of Artair's head. "You. Have got. To be kidding me!" In front of them, just behind the willow tree and just covered enough to be difficult to see during the night, was a cave.
Artair looked up, then at the direction of the cave, then fell back down. giving off a grunt. "I still would've been cold anyways..."
"Then you shouldn't have given me your cloak" she countered. "I wonder whats in there..." Without another word, the girl made her way into the cave.
After a few seconds, he sat up. He took off his vest, put on his chain mail, then the vest again, then the leather shoulder pads, and finally his claymore and quickly caught up with her. "Your welcome by the way and why are you looking in there. Why not just leave it alone? There may be a bear in there or something."
Shita laughed. "If there is a bear," she called behind her, "Then you kill it, then we skin and roast it. Food for months!"
Artair quicken his pace a bit more. "Its not just that easy! Now get come on" He called to her, the gap closing between them.
A man was walking alone through the forest, his red eyes glancing around lazily. He let out a yawn, folding his hands behind his head as he continued to walk. He wasn't quite sure where he was heading, such was the life of a wanderer like him. He closed his eyes, listening to the noises of the forest when he thought he heard voices. He stopped momentarily, raising a brow as he listened more. Sure enough he heard voices, coming from further up ahead of him. He wondered who would be out this far in the woods, and found himself heading in that direction as well.
Shita sighed in exasperation and called behind her. "Don't be such a baby! Come on, this cave actually doesn't look all that deep!" Sure enough, the cave had just gotten dark when a speck of light began to show at the other end. The gave was more like a thick tunnel actually, one that led much deeper into the forest that Shita had explored before going into the tavern. She stopped just at the new entrance (or the exit depending on how you look at it) and peered into the depths of the wood. "Hey...it looks like someone else might be out here!"
"How you figure?" He asked walking up beside her, still looking behind him, looking in the cave, then turning his head.
"Well just look," she pointed out, "The forest is shifting around a little ways away." She couldn't actually see a body yet, or have an idea of who or what it might be, but she could see the movement of the foilage. "At least, I hope it is a 'someone' and not a 'something'."
"Well maybe you can get them kicked out of a tavern as well." He said teasing her.
Arka stayed back a bit, listening to the two bicker slightly. They were coming from a cave, which made Arka raise a brow more. Odd creatures these two were, he wondered if perhaps they were hermits. His red eyes watched as they left the cave, focusing on the girl. Red heads, I love red heads. He thought, grinning a bit.
"That was all your fault! If you weren't wearing a ski...a kilt, or whatever I wouldn't have thought you knew magic!" She returned. Her voice was bickering, but her tone was light hearted. Shita was having fun.
"Really? You're blaming me? You're the one who tired to set me on fire and forgive me for wearing something that magic users wear from where you come from." He retorted, he was getting annoyed by his new traveling companion. He had completely forgotten about the possible person that was there.
