Genre: Sort of multi-genre, but generally Speculative Fiction.
This continuity involves a concept very loosely based off of Sliders. Player characters would start in one of 45 different realities (alternate versions of the same world where events happened differently) and find themselves waking up after a global catastrophe which split the world into "fractures" - pieces of all 45 realities. While dealing with each others' differences, the people of these realities try and solve what caused the problem and how to return things to normal. This concept could involve lots of adventure and plenty of opportunities for character development and world building in equal shares. To be fair, I'm trying to encompass as many genres as possible by having different realities embody different genres.
The difference with "multiverse" RPs, however, is that this involves realities. So instead of separate worlds entirely, these "universes" are meant to clearly be alternate versions of each other. My original decision to RP only one of these at a time was to help immerse other players into their reality of choice.
Alternatively, players can choose to do some RP in any one of the realities without the "crossover" arc described above. As I mentioned earlier, this was how I originally intended it, but the amount of time it would take to do every single reality this way would be enormous.
But if you're more interested in only one of the realities, or you'd like to do a plot without the use of the "world is split between many realities" plot arc, I should be able to accommodate you. ^^

I would prefer separate 1x1 RPs for different plots/realities, but if someone wants to play in a group and can bring together friends that work well together, I'll probably make an exception.

Also thought it worth mentioning a recent addition to the ranks of "alternate realities": Y-013! Following after a similar setting in 012, it's basically a way to adapt any characters from the Nasirian Knights to SotE here. No worries though: the Knights continuity is still separate; 013 is its own alternate reality. x3
