The title is a partial joke.
you: a heartless stranger who had their heart stolen by a great dragon and was told to touch a rift stone after completing a very short arbitrary quest to prove that they are the Arisen.. Bravery, courage and all of that stuff.
Me: an Emotionless outer worldly being from the rift, who has no free will of their own who was summoned by you touching said Riftstone.
Jokes aside. I am looking for someone to rp Dragon Dogma stuff. I've jumped back onto the hypetrain again with this game since it's re-releasing. I would like someone who is familiar with the game! Lore for the game SPOILER HEAVY. Info on Arisen and their pawns
Plot that I am shooting for is that this will take place 80 or so years after the story of the game. The arisen of that time fought and defeated the dragon [The third great dragon], but failed to break the chain, thus becoming the new dragon that would plague the world.
The Everfall underneath Gran soren [which destroyed most of it] managed to be sealed again and with it the crater left was eventually filled and buried over, a feat which took many decades to accomplish. Then the rebuilding started, infact that more or less is still going on. Things are not as the used to be, but it's getting better.
The Duke, Edmun Dragonsbane passed away of old age and another took his place and he was eventually assassinated. Finally a new one was chosen and this one seems competent enough, though he's not from Gransys at all, rather a neighboring Kingdom that has taken control of Gransys now that they are at their weakest. Things seem all well and good for the most part
Many new villages and towns popped up in the span of 80 years, alot were from refugees who survived the initial destruction of parts of Gran Soren.
The dragon has appeared again and once more Gransys is thrown into chaos over The Great Dragon [Previous Arisen]. He's come down now and he steals your heart, challenging you to come and take it back from him, to see if you are capable of breaking the chain.
The obvious goal is for the dragon to be destroyed. Just like the legends of old, the Arisen will defeat the dragon, just as Edmun Dragonsbane did and Godking Leonart before him, but that doesn't mean that the Arisen will exactly do this.
This gives us the opportunity to do much in the world of Gransys. Exploration and questing will be a main part of this as well as the connection between our two characters. You shape the way the story will go by how your character is.
Alternatively we can just rp out the plot of the game as it was in the third great dragon appearance in Gransys, meaning my plot above is useless. That is more up to you. I don't exactly care as my character is your pawn!
You have this character and their two forms to choose from. Either Male [The Mage] or Female [The Strider] Romance is not my main concern with this, but it is a possibility [ Many arisen have fallen in love with their pawn and married them also had to sacrifice them. I'm down for m/f or f/f and sorta kinda m/m. After a while a pawn starts to resemble their Arisen, not really in appearance [unless the arisen sacrifices their soul so that the pawn may become human], but mostly in their personality. Gives them the chance to feel a small collection of emotion that develops genuinely.

More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
