Shadow looks at the boys. She looks back at Ion. "Watch this." She says and giggles.
She looks back to the boys and waves as a gray light emits from her hand.

ion watches to see what would happen

She smiles big to reveal sharp teeth.

the boys all immediately turn their nervous attention else where, seemingly forgetting the girl entirely

Shadow turns back around. She giggles. Her hand stops emitting the gray light and her teeth go back to normal. She laughs.

"you think it;s funny to tease boys like that?"

"It's better than them treating me like those other boys did." she says.
"The looks on their faces were priceless!" She says as she laughs again.

"i can imagine"

he stands up and starts mimicking the boys

"'hey man, you see that cutey over there?' 'yeah man, she is nice.'"

he puts his hand on his face with three fingers down mimicking her teeth. then mimicks the boys again.

"'oh...NOPE!'"

Shadow busts out laughing.

ion can't help but grin when he gets the girl to laugh, he then sits down beside shadow.

" you wanna try swimming?"

"I don't know..." She says. "I haven't swam since I was 5...A big wave hit and I nearly drowned..." She says. "That was before my sister was born though."

"well you don't have to worry about drowning now, i'm here"

Shadow smiled. "Alright...I'll try it..." She says.

"glad to hear it"

She got up. She went to the water and dived in. She was a good swimmer...

"huh...looks like you've been holding out on me"

he calls to her

"Not really. I'm a little rusty." She calls back to him.

" it seems to be coming back to you"

he lays back down on his back and starts to relax

After a while, she came out of the water. She went over and sat down beside him.

"you having fun now that you're all wet?"

he asked
