Shadow layed on the sand holding her chest. She could barely breath...

Ion slowly rubbed her back, trying to make her feel better. he noticed the group standing around them.

"what?"

he asked them with a bitter edge

"there's nothing to see here"

to his great surprise, they actually began to walk away

"My...chest...really...hurts..." She managed to say.

"im sorry that it hurt, but there's nothing i can really do to help with that"

he said sadly

She groaned in pain a bit...

"look at the bright side though.. they actually left you alone when you aged back...especially since your ears and tail came back too"

he pointed them out since she was probably hurt to bad to notice that they returned.

"They left? I thought they were always there." She said.

"you hid them because we where in public, remember?"

She face palmed herself. "I forgot...I'm stupid."

"you're not stupid, you probably forgot since you do it so much"

She nodded. She tried to get up...

he offered a hand to help her, and pulled her to her feet.

"so little neko...what do you want to do now?"

She shrugged her shoulders.

"we can go to the snack shack to get something to eat if you want"

he offered as the sugggestion

Shadow's stomach growled and she put a hand on it. Her face grew red and she became embarrassed.

"guess i gotta feed the little cat don't i?"

he said with a chuckle as he began to walk to the snack shack

She followed behind and chuckled as well.

the two approached the counter, sitting in the stools when they reached it. the server came over. when he saw shadow, he did a double take, before a smile appeared on his face.

S:"that's quite the costume young lady, i thought those were real for a second"

"You mean my ears and tail? They are real." She said. She twitched her ears and swayed her tail.

the man just laughs.

"sure sure...and im the queen of England"

he says as he walks away to wait on other cutomers
