"Why doesn't he believe me?" Shadow asks Ion.

"people aren't used to seeing cat girls...they either think they are freaks...or fake"

he stated rather plainly

"I guess that's how the world works." She said.

"indeed"

he thinks for a second.

"is there anything in the world you have ever wanted to do, but never had the chance?"

She shrugged her shoulders.

"anything?"

"I don't know." She says.

"guess i should give you time to think about that"

he says as their food arrives. after a bit, the sun begins to slowly dip lower into the sky

Shadow thought and thought... "I've never ridden a horse." She says.

"horseback riding?"

he asked quizzically. so..the cat wants to ride a horse...

"i'll look around tomorrow to see if i can find any ranches in the area, sound good?"

She nodded. "Thank you for all you've done for me." She says to him.

"hey..it's no problem. after everything you've been through, you deserve to be treated well."

he says as gently pets her head and ears

She starts to purr a bit.

"but it's about time we head home. you ready to go? or do you wanna spend more time at the beach?"

"We can go now. I have to change, but then I'll be ready to go." She says.

"can't we change back at the house?"

"Alright." She says and she gets up holding her things.

the two begin their walk back and soon reach the house. however, Ion is beat and when he gets in the house, he goes straight for the bed and plops onto it.

Shadow changes and goes into the room. She chuckles a bit.

he turns his head and looks at her.

"and what's so funny little lady?"

he says with a smile
