The wolves growled louder. More appeared from the shadows. They all began to howl...it seemed harmless, but...
Shadow heard an earsplitting sound...Her ears hurt and she covered them to block out the sound. The howling managed to reach her ears and she began to feel a lot of pain in her ears...

unaware of the shadows pain, ion stood in a ready stance, waiting for the wolves to move...

Shadow continued to feel pain and her ears began to bleed a bit...
"STOP!!! STOP!!!" She screamed.

ions ears pick up on the scream of pain. he had to stop this. NOW! he lunges forward and his fist collides with a wolfs face.

The wolf stops howling and starts whimpering. This makes the others howl louder...
Shadow's ears keep bleeding...her hands are getting blood on them as she keeps trying to block out the sound.

ion spins his foot around, it colliding against the wolves faces with enough power to break bone, causing the howling to finally cease.

Shadow thought she heard the howling stop, but she didn't dare move her hands.

ion continued to pummel the wolves, not letting any of them have a chance to begin howling again. he was slowly beating them back...but failed to notice one slowly circle around. the wolf lunged at Ion, with him turning around to greet him....just in time for the wolf to sink its teeth into Ions face...

Shadow removed her hands from her ears and heard fighting outside. She ran outside and saw the wolves...

ion was laying on hie back, a wolf above him viciously biting into his face, with another one chewing on his hand and one on his foot

"Stop!" She yelled and ran over to pull the wolves off.

one of the wolves turns and growls at shadow, slowly moving toward her

She stands her ground. Her eyes glow red and her hands emit a red light.

the wolf looks at her threateningly, meanwhile, there is a lot of blood coming from the other group...

She grabs all of the wolves and paralyzes them. She makes them feel a lot of pain and moves them away from Ion. She heals Ion and keeps making the wolves feel pain...the pain is excruciating.

Ion bolts up with a scream. he can still feel the wolves tearing flesh away...

She heals Ion again. She comforts him by rubbing his head as she is now crouching beside him. She made to wolves teleport far away still experiencing pain and still paralyzed...forever...

"what happ-...did i...did i help?"

he says in confusion and delirium

She told him what all happened. Her ears had dried blood on them as did her hands, but she didn't care. Her eyes had gone back to normal and her hands didn't emit the red light.

"you're....you're hurt"

he said noticing the ears.
