"Thank you." She says and lets go. She kisses his forehead and looks towards the man. She walks to him and says, "He said you can stay."

"Indeed. Many thanks to you, sir and madam." said Vermillion happily "So you don't mind if I can step in for a bit?"

Shadow transforms into her cat form and sits on the couch.

Vermillion was a bit surprised by Shadow turning into a cat right before his very eyes. Though he has met similar Nekos like her, he hasn't met anyone that can transform like that in a while. After that surprising performance, Vermillion soon calms down and takes a deep breath before noticing a seat nearby.

"Mind if I can take a seat to rest, sir?" asked Vermillion nicely

Shadow looks at Ion. She purrs a bit and smiles.

"go right on ahead. why don't you tell me about yourself?"

Shadow looks to the man. She stays quiet so she can hear what he says.

"Many thanks, and I'll be more than happy to tell you two a bit about myself." said Vermillion with a calm smile

Vermillion then takes an empty seat close by as he soon breathes a sigh of relief before beginning to talk about himself.

"Now let's see here, I suppose the first thing I should tell you is where I come from. I come from a kingdom called Alexcia. A kingdom that has come a long way to developing itself into a great kingdom that I can be proud of. We not only have a great amount of industry, but also magical studies. In fact, I'm a Magus that can use fire, light, and earth magic. My magic is very special though as my fire won't burn or destroy anything unless if it's really necessary, and my earth magic will not cause any impalement.

Now as I said before that I'm a traveling merchant as I travel to town to town trading away my goods. I do have a wide assortment of medicine, food, clothes, tools, and basic weapons." said Vermillion

"That's pretty cool!" Shadow exclaims as she listens.

"Oh! I didn't think you can actually still talk while you're in cat form, madam. You really are amazing." said Vermillion beaming happily

"wow...quite the story my good man"

he said with an easy going tone

"Thank you. I can do a lot of magic myself. Not any specific elements. I can just do something if I think about it."
Her eyes glow blue and a mini snow cloud appears in the middle of the room. She makes it start to snow...

Vermillion was astonish by Shadow's trick of summoning a small snow cloud and making it snow inside Ion's home.

"Whoa! Incredible! I never expect to see this kind of magic." said Vermillion happily, but also in awe

Vermillion sticks his hand out for a snowflake to land on his hand.

"So this is snow... I have never seen snow in my life since we live in area that never snows. I've read books about this so called snow, but I didn't suspect this. This is a incredibly excitedly new experience that I'll keep in my heart..." said Vermillion deep in thought

Vermillion soon snaps out of his deep thoughts as he resumes back to explaining.

"Let's see, where was I? Oh, right! As of now, I left from Allensburg, which was my last stop, and I'm now traveling onward to the next town called Charlesville which is said to be a port town according to the map I've recently picked up. I've been traveling for about 2 hours non-stop all by myself." said Vermillion

Shadow makes the snow cloud go away and her eyes go back to normal. "Wow. You have traveled far, but I've traveled farther in my life time. I can't remember everywhere I've been, but I've been a lot of places." She says.

"and that is when your wagon broke down?"

Shadow listens to him carefully.

"I've traveled very far myself I have you know, and yes...during the travel to Charlesville is when my wagon broke down..." said Vermillion very shyly and embarrassed that he can't help but to turn a bit pink on his face "I was being very careful pushing my wagon, but I guess sometimes accidents happen when you least expect it."

"Well, I could help you fix your wagon. I could do it right now if you would like." She says and smiles.

"I appreciate your very kind and sincerest offer, but I can't make you guys do any heavy-lifting labor without a good conscious. This is my problem, and I should handle it myself. Also won't take me long at all, especially replacing a new set of wooden wheels for my wagon takes no trouble, nor time, at all with my powers of A--Ah! Forget what I just said at the end there..." said Vermillion, acting somewhat nervous at the end

"I can't tell them that I know alchemy, nor I should reveal my identity of me being a Homunculus. I know that these two are friendly people, but I don't want to risk the identities of my creators to be exposed to the world...especially if they be threatened by someone, of which I..." Vermillion said while deep in thought

Vermillion then turns quiet as he continues to go deep in thought, completely acting very oblivious, and acting a bit nervous by his near blunder.
