"What!? I only stated that the method would be a convenience, not an impossibility, otherwise I would have been in trouble a long time ago plenty of times." said Vermillion

Vermillion now makes a very big and annoying sigh as he then places his right hand over his face in disgust.

"If they ever found out about this, I'll not only get a very serious lecture, but also a serious punishment. Not to mentioned that you've stained my honorary creed..." said Vermillion as he soon lets out another sigh "I should get going then..."

Vermillion wastes no more extra time packing things up as he closes the backdoor and gets ready to leave. Once finished his preparations, Vermillion gets behind the frontal push bar as he then begins to push he wagon, surprisingly at a decent pace, despite how heavy it is.

"hey, don't you wanna stick around for a while?"

ion asked, wondering genuinely

Shadow's ears go back against her head...she felt really bad now...

"No... Having my honor crashed by a lady is shameful to a gentlemen... I wouldn't be able to look at her in the eye, which will just make things worse..." said Vermillion as he then stops pushing his wagon suddenly "I will say this though, however despite all of this, I thank you for your help...I really do...appreciate it...a lot...especially since this is the first time anyone has ever helped me before in my life...so...thanks..."

Vermillion then continues on his way, pushing his wagon along the road to Charlesville.

"Wait!" She calls remembering the locket she picked up. She runs after him.

Vermillion did stop pushing his wagon as he then awaits Shadow to catch up.

"What is it, madam? I meant what I said that I appreciate the help, but you've done enough already... Can't you just let a poor, dishonorable, person leave in peace...?" said Vermillion, with his eyes closed, and still a bit angry

"This was outside of your wagon... I picked it up and I was going to ask you about it." She says showing him the locket she picked up.

As much as Vermillion did say that he didn't want to look at Shadow straight in the eye, he mustered up the courage to slowly look at her

*Sigh* "What you find is no...concern--AH! WAIT! T-That locket!" cried Vermillion in complete shock

Vermillion then pats himself all over his body numerous amount of times before realizing that the locket Shadow was holding belongs to him.

"No way! That locket you hold in my hands is mine, and you said that you found it outside right next to the wagon? How did I..." said Vermillion

Vermillion not only felt very guilty about accidentally losing his pendant, but also very confused as how he ended up losing it and didn't realized it. Vermillion soons snaps out of it as he then now looks straight into Shadow's face...with a sincere look of troubled expression...

"May I please have that locket back? That locket really means so much to me... I can't bear to be without it..." said Vermillion, acting very sadly

She immediately handed it to him. "Of course!" She said with a smile.

Vermillion retrieves his locket from Shadow, and soon from great sorrow turns into great joy for having his locket back.

"Thank you so much, madam. You have my eternal gratitude for returning this locket to me. I have to repay your kindness for this, at least let me do this as you may not believe this is really just an ordinary locket, but picture inside of it holds an extremely important memory... In fact, it actually relates as to what happened earlier when I lost myself back there..." said Vermillion

Vermillion then goes deep into his thoughts as he then remembers what Orica asked him to do.

"I just remembered that Lady Orica asked me to investigate this lady here as to why she triggers the memories of her so strongly. I nearly have forgotten because I was angry, but thanks to her...I... Oh, Great Spirits... What should I do?" Vermillion said deep in thought

Vermillion pauses for quite a bit of time while clutching his locket very strongly. His fist that holds his locket begins to shake as he feels troubled again as to what he needs and wants to do now that he remembers his mission to investigate Shadow.

Shadow puts a hand on his shoulder. "You okay?" she asks.

ion walks over.

"you sure your feeling ok? would you like to stay the night and rest? it wouldn't be any trouble at all"

he offered, his tone laced with worry

As Shadow touches his arm, Vermillion then looks at her as he then hallucinates again as he sees Shadow as Orica again. Vermillion's again turns soulless for just a moment before he shakes his head again in order to snap himself out of it, and the hallucination.

"Y-Yes... I'll be...fine..." said Vermillion dejectedly

Vermillion wasn't fine, he needs to do his investigation on Shadow, but is afraid that it'll not only reveal his origins but also his creators as well. Vermillion closes his eyes as what's he doing now is communicate to the Great Spirits as to what he should do in this situation though his mind. Eventually a few lond-sounding waterdrops was heard as he then comes to a conclusion.

"Understood... You can trust them as I too can trust them by revealing our secrets..." Vermillion said deep in thought

Vermillion then opens his eyes up and smiles at Shadow.

"Madam, I want to ask a few questions about yourself, and in return, I'll tell you a bit about myself...and my family...as there's something about you that's triggering something in my memories of a very important person..." said Vermillion calmly before turning to Ion to answer his question "Yes, I would greatly appreciate it if I can stay for a while in your home as I need to do this."

"Alright. Ask away..." Shadow says. She looks at Ion for a second as she removes her hand from his shoulder. She gets closer to Ion...

"Let's head on back to the Sir's house first. I can't ask and tell you this outside in case if anyone out there is listening." said Vermillion

Shadow nods and begins to walk back... ~Not even Ion knows everything about me...How can I tell him if I can't tell Ion...~ She thinks to herself.

after a a few minutes of walking, the trio arrive at the house and go in. ion walks over to the couch and sits down and leaning back getting comfy....he had a feeling this was gonna take a while.

Shadow sat beside him...she looked slightly troubled.

Vermillion follows Ion and parks his wagon next to the house before going inside. He then heads on over and takes his usual seat as he then thinks about what to ask first before starting. After a few moments have passed, Vermillion decides to ask...

"Madam, I know this may be a very hard question for you to ask, but I was wondering if you have any bad past experiences?" asked Vermillion

Shadow flinched at the question... She nodded...She began to shake a bit...
