What she wanted to say was easier thought than said. ~Is it alright if I sleep with you? Or do you want to be alone?~ She thinks to him.

for once, he had found that words had failed him, something that almost never happened. she WANTED to sleep here? with him? he relied on his thoughts to double check.

'you...want to sleep here?'

~If you don't mind...If you do mind, then I'll sleep on the couch.~ She thinks to him.

he manages to speak out loud again

"no, i'm not putting you on the couch, you can sleep here"

he pats an area of the bed beside him

"Alright." She says and gets into the bed beside him.

he doesn't know what caused it, he didn't even think about it, but after a few minutes of lying there, he snaked his arm around her and pulled her close

Shadow grew a little tense and didn't move. She relaxed a bit... ~He's not gonna hurt you!~ She thinks to herself.

after a few minutes, shadow can hear him lightly snoring, and pulls her a littler closer.

She relaxes and closes her eyes. She eventually falls asleep.

the following morning, shadow wakes up to the sun shining through the blinds. she tries to move but a pair of arms stop her

She mews in surprise.

her movement causes the unconscious man to pull her back closer, his arms crossing her front, his face buried into the back of her neck.

Shadow lays there, not knowing what to do.

he mumbles something into her hair

She calms down and hums a little to him.

the sound of her humming causes him to relax a bit, causing him to relax his grip on her

She continues to hum...

suddenly, shadow hears a deep intake of breath.

"...someone needs a bath"

ion said in a slight sing-song voice

She stops humming. "What?" She says a little worried...

he shifts his head so his face isn't in her hair anymore/

"i said...someone needs a bath"
