It was night and the moon was full. Amethyst stood on a cliff above a dense forest.She stared at the moon while her elvish ears flicked behind her,keeping her alert to the sounds around her.Her purple slitted eyes glowed slightly as she kept staring at the moon,not caring who or what saw her.Her long,pure black hair flew lightly behind her like the wind that blew on this night.";

Arka had been wandering through the forest, going no where in particular. He was always on the move, jumping from one place to the next. He came across a cliff, and stopped. There on the ledge was a woman, her long black hair dancing around behind her as the wind blew. She seemed carefree, and was indeed lovely. He wondered what she was doing out here alone. He remained quiet, just standing behind her and folding his hands behind his head as he too looked up at the moon.

Amethyst had sensed someone behind her and turned around.Her elfish ears flicked behind her."Who might you be?"She said in a smooth tone.

Arka glanced down at her, a small smile at the corner of his lips. "A wanderer, who might you be?" he asked, a sly grin creeping across his lips now. It was rare to happen upon an elf, for him anyways. He had never met one until now.

"I'm a traveler as well."Amethyst sighed.Her purple slitted eyes glowed slightly as she looked at the man.She lifted on of her clawed hands in front of her.She smiled sadly ,her fangs glinting in the moonlight."I'm a traveler with really messed up genetics."

Arka smiled, his own red eyes glowed in the darkness as well. "What are you exactly?" he asked, tilting his head slightly. Now that he was able to get a better look at her he wasn't quite sure if she was an elf.

Amethyst smirked slightly."I'm a human dragon born from Sundra,the dragon goddess of the sun."Amethyst said Sundra's name with a slight growl like she hated her own mother.

Arka rose a brow, "A dragon goddess child eh?" he commented, scratching the back of his head. "Interesting. " he said, glancing up at her. "Did you have a falling out?" he asked, assuming by her tone in which she mentioned her mother.

"If you call being forced to live with a demon inside of you sealed there by your own mother and not coming back to life to care for for her own child after both parents died a falling out,then yes."Amethyst closed her eyes and sighed.

He pushed his mouth to the side, glancing up at the moon. He knew all too well about demons. "Sorry to hear that." he said softly, looking back down at her.

"Don't be sorry."Amethyst looked back at the man."My name's is Amethyst by the way."

"Arka" he said, gesturing to himself. "Demons aren't all bad y'know." he smiled. "Very powerful." He ran a hand through his hair, "Can't be all that bad." he said.

"I know some demons are not evil,it's just...."Amethyst went silent for a few moments."It gets on my nerves when I loose control and hurt those near me.That's why I travel,to stay away from people I might hurt."

"I know the feeling.." he said, his tone dropping some. He let out a soft sigh, and glanced up at her. "It was nice to meet you all the same, not everyday I get to meet a child of a dragon goddess." he smiled.

"I'm surprised that you haven't tried to kill me yet."Amethyst smiled at Arka.

"Kill you? I'm much too lazy for that." he chuckled, "Besides why would I want to kill you? You've done nothing against me." he said, looking at her.

"Say that to the humans that want me dead."Amethyst smiled and shook her head."I don't know what I did to make them hate me so much."

"Humans are fickle creatures, who fear what's different from them. I wouldn't take it personally." he smiled, trying to offer a slight bit of comfort.

"I don't take it personally at all.Even if they do manage to hurt me or run my heart through,I just heal and run off."Amethyst laughed slightly and opened her eyes."I still get expressions of surprise and fear whenever my healing comes into effect."

Arka nodded slightly, "Like I said humans are silly creatures." he replied. He glanced around and then rubbed the back of his neck. Leaving her here alone seemed wrong to do, "Are you heading anywhere particular?" he asked.
