My idea: 4 players in all but only three characters. One of your characters die and you take him/her to a Cleric of Pelor ((God of the sun)) to try to retire his/her life. The story begins in the church and the ritual being cast and your friend is revived... However the spirit of someone or something else enters the form as well. The two fight together but have an internal battle for supremacy.
Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Renaissance
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
