He gave her the work she was to do. Moon showed up a little bit later and showed Kat what to do.

Giving Moon a timid wave, KK caught on quickly to what she had to do without a whisper.

She let her do what she was supposed to and went to talk to Amity. She told him that he needed to talk to Kat.

Kitkat kept working.

He decided to talk to her on her break.

Kitkat glanced at the clock and saw it was time for her break.

He walked up to her on her break. "Can we talk, please?" He asked, kindly.

She nodded once.

He walked her to his office and sat. "Please take a seat."

She sat in the chair in front of his desk, hands folded over one another in her lap.

"I just wanted to tell you." He said. "I am truly sorry for yesterday...."

"Don't be," KK replied, still downcast. "I shouldn't have asked such a stupid question. If you wanted anything for the pain, you'd have said so."

He sighed. "I still shouldn't have snapped at you."

“It’s alright,” she sighed. “It was deserved.”

He looked away. "Y-You can go now if you'd like." He said after a few minutes.

Giving another small nod, KK stood, turned around, and walked out of his office.

(Did he mean to go back to work or go home?)

(Back to work. She was only on break.)
He stayed in his office and sighed.

She returned to her work, going about it as quickly as she could while still being neat and thorough.
