A failure.
The whole dogfight had began and ended so cruelly. Three JuJu 88's on his tail and a hail of machine gun fire was all it took to bring him down. Everybody else had burned to death in the carcass of their planes, and Drake had managed to eject himself from his shuddering Spitfire MK V before it exploded into a sheet of flame in the air.
He had landed in a field of the Panama Canal and was instantly spotted by a passing squadron before the Rebels could pick him up. He supposed it could have ended up worse. The commander in charge had been lenient enough to take him as a P.O.W. rather than execute him on the spot. Perhaps they had forgotten of his infamy, which was lucky on his part. The guard poked his back, whispering dangerous threats into his ear. Drake smiled malevolently, his marine eyes twinkling.
"Eat shit, pig."
He had a split lip to accompany his face now.

The sound of an airhorn blasted through the village.
"This village is now under German occupation. Do not resist and you will not be harmed."
The prisoner they had captured was a prize for them. He knew the face of that Aryan man, he was one to be remembered. Rather than follow the standard order of procedure, he decided to keep him to gain some valuable insight on the enemy movement.
Every residency, restaurant, and saloon was searched, and Alex's eyes scanned the frightened villagers faces. The faces were all stone cold, malnourished, and homely. War did that to a lot of people, he thought somberly. A squad of Grenadiers approached him with a salute.
"Sir, we believe that we have found the Fräulein. She is standing in front of a tavern of sorts."
Alexander smiled warmly.
"Good work soldiers. Lead us to the establishment then. I wish to get her out of here before we cause any rioting from our sudden takeover and avoid needless violence."

(( Curious. Who is higher ranked? Four is the commander of a company.
(( In terms of rank you are higher, but not part of your division or section so no authority over her company.
Apparently hearing from the scout's report, the E75 drove ahead of the column to the tavern. Four, seeing her own tank command coming, can't help but gave a smile. Opening the hatch was the loader, "Commander! We thought you were dead! She's very worried about you back at the front-line command!"(The gunner).

The Serb would wait a bit to see where the situation was going. But really, it wasn't anything much of interest to him. He would have been fine with no Germans being around at all. But he had his job, and he had his people and for those reasons alone he had to walk over to Four
"You, lady... How was the day at the tavern?" He tried asking, at least somewhat politely. "Where is Christofer?" The man had started to get suspisious when the Schäefer hadn't shown up after the rebels had left. Knowing the boy, Sergei did not have high hopes for him, so he was getting somewhat worried - not that it was visible anywhere outside of his own head, and the reason wasn't even about Christofer, but his own plans

Alex breath a sigh of relief. The woman looked unharmed, and was reunited with her company. It looked like there wasn't any immediate danger. Then a messenger walked up to Alex and whispered in his ear. Immediately, his thoughts were vanquished.
"Sir, we have been ordered to remain in this village by the higher ups and quell the rebel forces within."
His back stiffened. Alex was no fool, he knew that the enemy was lying in wait in numerous villages, with this one being no exception. However, if the authorities ordained it, he would have to stand by it as well.
"Relay to the troops to remain vigilant and do not let their guards down."
He then faced the woman.
"Kommandant, if you are available can you do me a favor and escort this prisoner back to the Panama base. I'm sorry for putting this upon you now but I'm afraid I simply don't have the time to do it now. Also, keep it confidential."
He then turned about and faced the soldiers.
"Men, we are moving out. Put your safety catch off and proceed with caution!"

"A little fun. But, I do not know, he is probably still upstairs..." she said. "I haven't heard from him since I was quite busy with the rebels." Looking toward at her own command tank, "Tell her to be with ease." The loader nodded and informed the radio operator. What Alex said to her, she replied with a sigh, "What do you expect to transport with him with? My command tank?"
The guard pushed Drake forward. Alexander shook his head.
"You can make him walk in front of your company. Actually, do whatever you want to the filth."
With that said the guard spit into Drake's hair and walked off after Alexander. Drake looked at the group of tanks in a disgusted manner. His mangy tail twitched.
"So you lot of pretty boys and girls in fancy cars are going to bring me back to your overlord or whatever? Sweet."
He shuffled along, head down.

Sergei wasn't surpriced of her not seemingy caring too much about Christofer, some Germans only cared for looks and purity afterall. He had hoped for her to know to say at least something, for they had been in the same building the while time, but that wa probably too much to hope for - and he considered hoping to be rather useless anyway. The Serb sighed and shook his head, entering the tavern in search of the brunette.
While Sergei would be searching for the other Schäefer, Alexander would be done fixing up his things in the other tavern. The caramel hair would not be happy with Lopez just taking off and leaving like that, but his expression changed into a surpriced one when he stepped out.
"Oh? Looks like we got company." He stated out loud upon seeing the troops

Every room, corridor, and basement was searched for any opposition. Even those that seemed slightly against their cause were pulled out and questioned forcibly until they either cracked or told fabricated lies to stop the pain. Alexander knew it was wrong, but he couldn't afford to make any mistakes in the face of the government when he was standing on thin ice.
At the tavern, those who had remained were being handled roughly and crudely, the soldiers indulging in their desire to assert dominance. The unfairness, all of it, was something he knew he couldn't regulate without losing the trust of his soldiers and his government.
So he looked away and let the madness continue in order to snuff out any chance of opposition.

She looked at the soldiers with disappointment and shouted, "Treat them with some respects idiots. Go upstairs and retrieve Christofer, he's one of us. Look after him and his friend. And you!" She turned to another group, "Get the men to ease with their questioning....disobeying this order will have them shot. Are we clear?" The soldiers looked at each other. Her rank was clear, Captain. SS Captain of a rather known company. Alexander could've ordered his troops to disregard her order. If not, they are required to follow. "You four, get a car and get the prisoner into it. You will be following us back to headquarters." For a moment, it was silence, "Go or I will have you court-martialed!" The soldiers scrabbled to her orders. She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Truly..." The caramel Schäefer would lean on a wall near the main door of the tavern, not exactly planning on coming insside because of the mess that was going on. "You should be able to control your men, but to me it looks like they're controling you. Hmh, such leadership." He'd shrug, disappointment clear in his tone. "Your expression tells me you don't exactly like what they do, so maybe you should do something about it?" Who knows, maybe he wouldn't need to use as many of his healing items if the soldiers would indeed calm down their faulty manners?
He had been taken aback when she spoke up for him and the rebels of the village. Perhaps there was something actually pure within the damned Nazi party. He murmured quietly when he passed by her.
"...Merci, mademoiselle."
However something black within him quickly resurfaced. He quickly adjusted his attitude, speaking spitefully while grinning cynically.
"Actually, didn't the soldiers say your name was Four? In French you'd be a furnace. Fits the bill, though, considering what your people did to us."

The sudden outburst of his subordinate was surprising to him, but he did nothing to stop her. If anything, he was glad she had stepped up to the plate to voice her concern.
The soldiers who had been reprimanded didn't exactly like it, but the respect and prestige she ordained made them comply with her.
Had it been someone like him who said it, he would have most likely been immediately condemned as a sympathizer for the rebel cause. After all, the government despised him and wished to eliminate him as quick as possible. He was one of the main conspirators involved in the overthrow of the previous leaders of the Nazi party.
Towards the one that snuck up on him, he ignored him. What possibly could the man understand about politics? Alex couldn't afford to make any rash decisions if he wanted to. Not unless he wanted to protect those he still could. But as much as he hated it, he knew the brunette had a very good point. He briskly left the establishment, gone to produce a report of the situation to send back to headquarters.

As Luke predicted Colonel Ramirez came back with force. Four motor teams inside the jungles started to bombard the village for a set amount of time. Also from the jungle came the rebels firing at German soldiers with rifles, machine guns and Molotov cocktails. From behind them three tanks came out of the jungle, 2 firefly's and a Pershing as well as more rebels. Ramirez was definitely not letting a E-75 rule his day and so the Pershing focus its fire at the E-75 while the firefly's focus fire at the lesser German vehicles and the rebels focus on the other troops.

This had been calculated by Alex. The rebels had been bound to retaliate the moment they had set foot into the village. He immediately radioed in the mortar squads he had previously requisitioned prior to occupying the villages to begin bombardment, and sent a few of his troops to defend the rear.
"We are leaving here. Use the four Panzer IVs and the Königstiger to spearhead the assault. We will be making a hasty retreat."
He hesitated for a second, then continued on.
"Once all German forces retreat, call in an incendiary barrage and scorch the village."

Hearing the shells earlier, she told the soldiers, "Get the messenger and his friend out of the tavern into safety. That is an order!" She popped down the hatch and closed it, "I'll be the gunner, what is the situation?" The radio operator reported, "From the firefight, two British variant Fireflies and American Pershing." "Tsk" said Four. "Driver, angle our tank when you see an enemy tank! Our armor is useless at point-blank range. Those tanks will rip through our armor. Radio operator, be wary of our surroundings, I do not want to be flanked. Loader! Load APCR."
