This had been calculated by Alex. The rebels had been bound to retaliate the moment they had set foot into the village. He immediately radioed in the mortar squads he had previously requisitioned prior to occupying the villages to begin bombardment, and sent a few of his troops to defend the rear.

"We are leaving here. Use the four Panzer IVs and the Königstiger to spearhead the assault. We will be making a hasty retreat."

He hesitated for a second, then continued on.

"Once all German forces retreat, call in an incendiary barrage and scorch the village."

Hearing the shells earlier, she told the soldiers, "Get the messenger and his friend out of the tavern into safety. That is an order!" She popped down the hatch and closed it, "I'll be the gunner, what is the situation?" The radio operator reported, "From the firefight, two British variant Fireflies and American Pershing." "Tsk" said Four. "Driver, angle our tank when you see an enemy tank! Our armor is useless at point-blank range. Those tanks will rip through our armor. Radio operator, be wary of our surroundings, I do not want to be flanked. Loader! Load APCR."

Christofer had fainted a few moments before the Serb could find the correct room, and there for couldn't really be of any use in the current situation. Sergei had checked that the other one was still alive, and the scroll he carried was still sealed, meaning that no-one had tried to attack the smaller man; he'd need to figure out another reason for them to be fainted.

Which ever was the reason, upon hearing some roars from the distance, it was quite apparent that the town wasn't any sorts of safe for them to stay in for long anymore. With the German somewhat knocked out, Sergei had no other choice but to lift him up and start carrying the boy outside. Anyone coming across them and trying to distract him would most likely be greeted by a glare

Drake observed Four and her soldiers switch gear, exploding into action.

"Ah, it looks like my allies have come up with a counterattack. Hopefully they'll free me...If they even know I'm still alive..."

He looked thoughtful. Shaking his mutty blond hair, the lynx hybrid strained his ears to listen to the chaos and try to separate important information from the unimportant. Perhaps he would gain nothing from the seemingly senseless noise, perhaps he may obtain some vital information.

A bullet strayed by his cheek as he shot a rebel point blank with his Luger. Overhead, airplanes strafed the forests, catching an unsuspecting rebel or two.

"Ach, we are cooked!"

A Panzer IV had been crippled by an AT field gun. The other tanks forged on, a grenade from a Grenadier killing the rebels hiding behind the field gun. Once the bulk of the forces had left the village, Alex shouted at Four.

"Get your forces out and minimize your casualties! The entire village will be engulfed in flames once I fire the flare!"

For Ramirez, he could hear all the communications going on the fritz on his listening in device that listens into German communication, gotten it thanks to the black market and made his plans from it. Hearing the craze by the fighters over head forced him to grit his teeth and made him radio is forced to retreat, he definitely didn't want to lose his Pershing. And they did as he ordered, as once they came out of the forest back into the forest they went.

"Tsk" as she popped out of her hatch, "And what of the others still in the village? Use your head and bomb the forest line! Idiot! Nothing will come out good from hitting the village!" The loader was nervous, Four popping out of the hatch was not a good idea. Though she was holding her MP44.

There were things happening everywhere. One couldn't tell which way exactly to go to get to the center of the crisis, or even which way to go if you wanted to get away from it. People were running around franticly, screaming at eachother and the sky. Sergei would have to make some good desicions as to which way he'd chooce to go to. It was truly troubling, as he still needed to look aftr the fainted German as well and the caramel colored Alexander was nowhere to be seen...

Alexander looked at her, and a lump in his throat formed. He knew what she said was logical, but defying direct orders...

A soldier walked up to him and relayed the news that the Wehrmacht combined arms division had been fully evacuated. It mattered not anymore. He steeled his heart.

"...I'm afraid I can't do that, fräulein."

A red smoke rose from the air, signaling the beginning of the bombardment.

Even though the main rebel group retreat a few stragglers were still in the village and one decides to fire at Four with his fire before taking off into the woods. His shot was rushed and barely aimed, doubtful on its hit but either way he pulled the trigger and ran off. Soon the village returned to its usual quite nature like if nothing even happened.



Once Luke and James arrived to the jungle airport, they could see that there comrades were testing out the equipment in which they have: 2 ARL 44s, 1 b1 bis, 4 Sau 40s, 1 Easy 8 and 1 rarity- KV-2, a present from the black market representative Thomas at the base. For Lowe that they have, it's been heavily modified with giant metal spikes at the front of it, purpose to cut down the trees and also have extra plate armor for some extra protection as well as a few others that just improve the tank overall.

After parking the bike, James went ahead to get there rooms ready as Luke goes to where he can see Thomas eyeing the tanks the French crew have. "AHHH! Luke it's good to see you again!" Thomas exclaims as he gives the blond boy a hug. Luke just smiled at him as he just accepts his hug. The Lowe soon stop next to them and out of the commanders hatch came out the commander of the entire French resistance in Panama, an anthro red fox wearing a classic blue French uniform and officers cap, Major Jonathan Orlean aka "The Jungle Fox". He hopes down and with his pipe in his mouth and says "Ah Monsiuer Luke, it's good to see you" Luke smiles and says "Well Major Orlean it's good to see you too" The Major smiles in gleam and says "Come let's talk back at the command building" he says as he puts his arm around Luke and starts walking to the command building.

The bullet flew by her and she instantly dropped down into the hatch and closed it, "Operator you got 5 seconds to tell them to shift their firing position north of here now!" The radio operator nodded and confirmed with the situation. The shells began to land then stopped after a few rounds. Hitting some area of no importance. Then the barrage moved itself north of here along the forest line.

The red smoke certainly didn't look promising, Sergei had been educated on a few of the signals some Nazi parties typically used and he knew that this wouldn't be meaning anything good for him. And upon a quick look, there were no visible shelters either. All these houses would do nothing to aid them. They were not built to withstand that sort of treatment. No simple unspecified building was.
And the forest was filled with tanks. Staying on the open would make them into targets that just screamed to be shot down. Every option was bad... But so was standing still. The Serb wouldn't be counting on much, but he tried to make it out of the town, moving towards the opposite side of the woods from where the tanks were located. Maybe he was going to be lucky and there would be little to no mashinery laying in wait...

Lucky for Sergi, the rebel armor has already bugged out and now no where to be seen, neither any of the rebel troops. All the rebel forces rushed out and they need up abandoning there mortar positions. Of course, a couple of rebels will get hit by the strikes but not much that'll make any difference.

The sudden change in bombardment coordinates surprised Alex, but made him begrudgingly respect the commander with newfound respect. She had defied direct orders from the higher ups.

"Complete the retreat. We are pulling out before we have anymore casualties."

Their plans had failed, fortunately. And he would have to pay for it.
