"L-Lightning?!" cried Viviana

"Calm down, Viviana, let's go!" said Vermillion

"Right behind you, Lord Vermillion." said Chika as she follows him

"Ah, wait for me!" cried Viviana as she chases after them

They soon see Moon up ahead being chased by Icarus. Vermillion gets his Durandal out as he then charges it up with magical energy before firing beams of light at Icarus, trying to keep him away from Moon. Meanwhile, Viviana stands behind Vermillion, ready to support him when he needs it; and Chika is ready to help keep Moon away from Icarus by being her shield.

Once she saw them, she ran over to them and hid behind them. Part of her tail was gone...Her hands had marks on them...From lighting. She was shaking and she was filled with fear...

"Moon is so badly hurt... I'll help heal her, just keep him away from us." said Chika

"With pleasure. Prepare yourself!" said Vermillion

Vermillion then charges up the the Durandal again as he then fires out three slash waves of holy energy at Icarus. Meanwhile, Chika uses her water powers to heal her hands, and soon her tail.

He seemed unaffected. He shot more lighting and it hit Moon...She wailed in pain. She fell...There were a lot more marks other than the ones on her hands.

"MOON!!!" cried Chika as she tries to help her by healing her

"You monster! How can you do this to our friend? Viviana, please help take Moon to some place safe." said Vermillion

"You sure? What about your--" said Viviana

"I'll retreat if I can't win against him. My honor, we'll retreat, and come up with a new plan." said Vermillion

"Okay." said Viviana

Viviana then runs to Chika and Moon as she tells her to carry Moon and heal her at the same time. The two grabs Moon on either end as they run as fast as they can away from Icarus.

"I think I can help them escape with this." said Vermillion

Vermillion then holds his Durandal up high as then power converges at the very tip of his knightsword.

"Lumina!" cried Vermillion

Vermillion fires a very bright, shining, blast that blinds Icarus as he hopes that buys them enough time for Viviana and the others to escape. Meanwhile, as they were running, Viviana uses her magical power to ready a special tree knife on her in case Icarus strikes Moon again with lightning.

He's blinded and tries to recover from the blindness...
Moon is breathing heavily.

"Heh... Looks like it's working! I think I can't take him on right now as my last two attacks have no effect against him. I need Moon's help to find a weakpoint..." said Vermillion

Vermillion prepares to fire another Lumina as he charges up, and readies his aim. Meanwhile, Viviana and Chika got a significant distance away from Icarus and Vermillion as they settle Moon down, and then uses their combined healing powers to help heal Moon from all of her injuries...at least to the point that she's no longer in pain, as getting rid of the scarring can take some time...

"Hang in there Moon... Please don't die..." said Chika as she tears up

"You know I'm curious about something, I remember hearing from Moon that Icarus is her brother, so why is he doing this to her? What has she done to deserve this? ...Unless...no...I couldn't be...but that wasn't her fault..." said Viviana

Icarus recovered from his blindness. "GET OUT OF MY WAY! SHE DESERVES TO DIE!" He yelled. "WITHOUT HER, MY WIFE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE!" He yelled. His wife was a Neko...

"Your wife...? Wait...don't tell me... I remember Moon saying this before a few days back, but isn't your wife a Neko?" asked Vermillion

Vermillion still has his aim at the ready the instant that he moves. He knows that even though what she did was unforgivable to some, he knows that it's not her fault as she was forced to doing it seeing that all Nekos in the world were killing each other thanks to someone pulling the strings on that catastrophe. Meanwhile, Viviana and Chika continues to heal Moon to the point that she should no longer be in pain...at least they hope that would be the case...

He narrowed his eyes. "Yes. She was." He said. He looked at him. "Let me through so that murdering Neko goddess can get the justice she deserves." He said.

Moon just breathed heavily.

"Wait, hold on, please let me explain for her sake. She did told us that what she did was very wrong and unforgivable, but it wasn't all her fault to begin with. She was forced into it by someone who has made all the Nekos around the world violent and self-destructive... They were killing each other and other people, so she stop the madness with her own hands, but she didn't know that it would kill everyone else, including your wife. Let me ask you this, if your wife is here by your side, seeing that you're harming your own sister, would she be happy to see that? I know that deep down you're better than this, so please... Can you find it in your heart to forgive her? It took us a very long time for us to do the same, but we have been with her for quite a while now, and she's trying her best to repent her for her sins. I don't know what I can do, but I want to help Moon try to restore the Nekos back into this world... The world is such a sad place without them, as I find them to be the most beautiful out of most people in the world. So what do you say...?" said Vermillion

Meanwhile, Viviana and Chika still continues to heal Moon. Now she that she's breathing somewhat okay, they now start to heal her scars in order to take the pain away from her body. They do their very best to get rid as many scars as they can off of Moon's body.

He looks away. "She died and...She was pregnant..." He said. "We were going to have a son..." He started to cry. "I miss her so much..."

Moon groaned a bit.

"I can understand a loss of both a wife and a newborn son... Although I'm a Homunculus, a human created by four Great Spirits to use as protectors, I've seen and understand loss in my line of work and duty. I really wish from the bottom of my heart that I can help everyone be happy in the world, even if it means doing things such as resurrecting people just to make them smile again... I'll do anything to make my dreams a reality... All I have now, which I just recently discovered, is that I have a phoenix feather in my Life Crystal. I don't know why it's there, but something tells me that my creators, the Great Spirits, put it there for a reason. I know what Phoenixes are, and though they're not Unicorns, I'm sure with my phoenix feather that I have, I wonder if I can do anything like resurrect your loved ones...even if they are deities..." said Vermillion

Meanwhile, Viviana and Chika are still healing, doing their best to try and conserve as much magical energy as they can as they nearly got rid of all the scars from Moon's body.

Icarus dried his tears and looked to him. "They aren't deities." He said. "You'd really resurrect them?" He asked.

Moon was breathing easier.

"My apologizes... Since you were Moon's sister, that she's also a goddess, and that your wife is a Neko, I assume she was also a goddess or a deity of some kind. Anyway, I don't know that if I really could since we just discovered it ten minutes ago before Moon was thrashing around in her sleep. We assumed that the phoenix feather had a negative effect on her, so we left before we could learn more. Also it's very likely that our creators, the Great Spirits, were the ones that obtained the feather, and embedded it into me, so they're likely to know what's going on. Besides that though, if I can really use this feather to at least resurrect your wife then I'll be more than happy to give it to you...if not, then I ask you to please give both me and Moon some time to bring her back... So do we have a deal? I know that all you wanted was to be with your wife, and I called you a monster out of pure spite of what you did...I'm really am sorry for that..." said Vermillion

Vermillion then lowers his Durandal, making the sword point fall on the ground. Meanwhile, Viviana and Chika finally got rid of all the scars off of Moon's body as they pretty much completely healed her. They both slumped over, nearly drained of all their energy healing Moon, as it's now up to her to wake up and recover the rest of the way.

She's breathing better...She opens her eyes.

Icarus nods. "Alright." He said.

"Good..." said Vermillion as he breathes a sigh of relief "Thank goodness that it's over. Rarely ever I that I can solve this problem peacefully."

Meanwhile, Chika was the first on to see Moon waking up, as she tells Viviana the same.

"How are you feeling, Moon? Are you okay now? We've tried so hard to heal you of all of your injuries." said Chika

She tries to sit up.

"Good..." said Vermillion as he breathes a sigh of relief "Thank goodness that it's over. Rarely ever that I can solve this problem peacefully."

Meanwhile, Chika was the first on to see Moon waking up, as she tells Viviana the same.

"How are you feeling, Moon? Are you okay now? We've tried so hard to heal you of all of your injuries." said Chika

"Hmm... I wonder how Master is doing? It seems a little too quiet..." said Viviana

"I'm sure he'll be fine." said Chika

She looks at them and tries to sit up.
