"Moon! Please stay with us!" said Vermillion as he embraces Moon and starts using his magic powers to help calm down the pain she's suffering with

"Moon...you poor thing... Having to live that long, and at the end, you've met us who wanted to take you in, and to take care of you like family... To think that all of it can be taken away like this...is very cruel..." said Celes

"I'm sure that this was said to you a lot right now since we've now know the news, but it really feels like we've still only just met you, and that you've become a real integrated part to our society. Having someone like you gone will make us very sad...especially Ena and Mai... Is there anything we can do to save you from this? You're too important to us to go away forever..." said Aura

"Orica won't be able to be the same again either... Losing Eleanora was bad enough, but losing you might just break her through her mental and emotional limits of balance. Losing her will not only be devastating, but, as it was said, losing you would be just as devastating to us. You've made us loved you in such a short amount of time..." said Larica

She starts to breath a bit heavily. She holds onto Vermillion tightly. "T-T-There is o-o-one thing, but...I-I-I-I can't b-b-bare to a-a-ask such a t-t-thing." She said.

"Please tell us... I don't care what happens... I just wanted you to live by my side like you promised me... Please..." said Vermillion, trembling with desperation and sadness

"We will try to be brave for you to tell us. We'll judge if we can do what we can to extend your life with us." said Celes

She let out a shaky sigh. She held onto Vermillion. "In order for me t-t-to stay al-alive....S-S-Someone has to t-t-take my place..." She said. "But I can't a-a-a-ask any of y-y-you to do that."

"Wait... Someone has to take your place?" said Vermillion, trembling with fear

"I sort of had a feeling... This is also may has some relation to the fact that Moon sacrificing every Neko which would allow her to stay alive for that long." said Celes

"Also, even if they are willing to take your place in order to live, I doubt a Homunculus would be sufficient..." said Larica

"N-No..." said Vermillion as he droops into despair

She felt a pain in her arm and she screamed... She held her arm tightly. She shut her eyes.

"This is terrible... Is there really nothing we can do to save Moon?" cried Viviana

"Someone... Anyone... Please..." muttered Chika, about to lose it

Everyone was basically at a lost as to what to do...but then something was happening to Vermillion as he felt something odd within himself... It didn't take long for Celes to sense something strange within Vermillion as well.

"Vermillion, what was that just now?" asked Celes

"I... I don't know... I feel something very powerful within, but... I think it's coming from my Life Crystal..." said Vermillion

"But it couldn't be coming from the phoenix feather... It shouldn't cause it to have so much power..." said Celes

"I was thinking the same thing, but...I don't think it's the feather... It's something else... Queen Celes, you have to find out what this anomaly is." said Vermillion

"Very well..." said Celes

Celes then uses her powers to scan Vermillion, embedding him in a while aura. Vermillion then once again uses his powers to try and help Moon. Meanwhile, Vermillion's fervent prayers, wishes, and for Moon as still continued to affect the phoenix feather to the point that it changes into something unbelieveable that Celes is about to discover.

The pain eventually stops thanks to Vermillion... "T-T-T-Thank you... V-V-V-Vermillion..." She said.

"Just please hang on, Moon... I can't see you like this... None of us want to see you suffer...much as less not to lose you..." said Vermillion with tears in his eyes

It's taking a while for Celes to pinpoint the anomaly that is currently affecting Vermillion, but she's getting closer to finding it out.

She nodded. "Okay...I'll try..." She said.

"Moon..." muttered Vermillion as he then hugs her gently, afraid of harming her by hugging her tightly

After a while, Celes did find out what was causing Vermillion's body to react very unusually, and it surprised her greatly.

"Th-This... This is not possible... How...?" muttered Celes in complete shock

"What's the matter, Queen Celes?" asked Viviana

"Vermillion... The phoenix feather that was embedded inside of your Life Crystal...it has turned into an egg!" said Celes

"Wh-What?! An egg?!" cried Vermillion in shock of this development

"I don't know how, or what happened, but that's what I've just found out." said Celes

"Could it be... Could it be that Vermillion's love, wishes, and desires for Moon were so strong that the feather reacted and changed into an egg?" said Viviana

"It could be possible, but still this is something of a rare miracle... Something like this should not have happened..." said Celes

"...Queen Celes... I wonder if it's possible that we can use the power of the egg, which I'm sure it's now a phoenix egg, to save Moon." said Vermillion

"M-Master!" cried Viviana in shock

"I...I don't know... Well even if it's possible, I think that phoenix inside the egg will not survive because it hasn't even been born yet, and even if it did, I doubt it would even have the power to save Moon within seven days..." said Celes

"No... Moon..." cried Vermillion as he then thinks very hard of a way that they could use the phoenix incubating inside of him without sacrificing it's life, but couldn't find any solutions...but then... "Moon... Would it be enough to use the phoenix egg as a way to extend your life?"

"Master, what are you saying?! Are you sure you should do this?!" cried Viviana

"...Don't tell me... Is the phoenix inside of the egg really wants to save Moon's life by giving up its life in exchange?" asked Celes

"Yes...I've felt it... It's wishes are matching my own, it's wants to save Moon's life more than itself. Please, Moon...will you accept this phoenix egg in order to live with us?" asked Vermillion, trembling and scared of what Moon might say

She nodded. "I-I-I a-a-accept..." She said. She didn't want to hurt Vermillion...

Vermillion lit up in happiness at Moon's response of accepting the phoenix egg's power.

"Thank you, Moon." said Vermillion happily

Vermillion then fully embraces Moon as both him and Moon gets embedded in a fiery red aura. A lot of power surges through both Vermillion and Moon as then the phoenix egg inside Vermillion's Life Crystal starts to turn into pure energy, and begins to slowly transfers all of it's power to Moon. Moon should feel all sorts of unusual feelings and sensations, but more importantly she should start to feel much more stronger.

She started to breath a bit heavily...She waited patiently...She started to feel better...She smiled a bit.

After a while, Moon body starts to feel like she's on fire, but then the feeling turns extremely soothing and relaxing, like any sort of feeling of fire touching her body doesn't harm her any more. At this point, the phoenix egg's power has 33% transferred to Moon's body as Vermillion continues the transfer.

She purred a bit. She continued to smile.

After a while, Moon can now not only start to feel the power of the phoenix inside of her, but can also see an actual fiery form of the phoenix cuddling and roosting beside her, cheerfully nudging her with it's head. At this point, Vermillion has transferred 65% of the phoenix's power to Moon now...only a few more minutes to go now...

She purrs and pets its head a bit...She smiles.

A few more minutes has passed as Vermillion has finally completed transferring all of the phoenix egg's power and energy to Moon's body...and with it, the phoenix that was cuddling Moon starts to vanish, but not before letting out a cry as then Moon mysteriously heard this...

"Don't ever forget me, Moon... You, who has loved my host, please take very good care of him..."

The phoenix then vanished into particles as they all float up into the air before converging inside of Moon's body, empowering her body and make her much stronger than before now with the powers of the holy phoenix at her disposal. Vermillion starts to breathe very heavily as he exhausted using up all of his strength to transfer all of that energy to Moon in order to save her, but he then also smiles brightly at her as he then asks...

"How do you feel...Moon...? All...better...?" said Vermillion, struggling to talk

She nodded and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Vermillion." She said.
