"...Alright then... We'll be arriving at the Governor's House soon to report on our current progress of Vilnius." said Vermillion

"Master, would it be okay if we get a headstart on our inspection? We know that it'll soon be nighttime, but we want to go ahead and get some of it done before it gets too dark." said Viviana

"That's fine. I'm just only going to report. I'll join you in a while." said Vermillion

"I'll go with Mistress Viviana too, Lord Vermillion." said Chika

"Okay then, and what about you, Moon?" asked Vermillion

"I'll go with Vermillion." She said with a smile.

"Okay then, we'll see you two later." said Viviana with an elegant bow as she then leaves with Chika to inspect Vilnius to find any more possible traces of the plague left in the city

"Well then, let's head to the Governor's Office to report to the Governor. He's a nice caring guy to the people of Vilnius, so when the plague hit them, it really hit him the hardest, having to not only plead for help, but to also quarantined Vilnius to prevent it from spreading to everywhere else. That's nobility and honor right there as we were happy to have the medicine for his citizens...our only regret is that we could've gotten it to them earlier had we gone through by sea, even though Vilnius is not a port town, but instead is somewhat close to one, so we wouldn't have to travel very much anyway." said Vermillion

Vermillion leads Moon to the west part of Vilnius as they soon arrived at the Governor's House a few minutes later.

"Well here we are. As long as you're with me, even though you're a Neko, thus different from humans, the Governor, Marcus, will treat you with respect. In any case, let's head on inside." said Vermillion as he opens the door

She nodded and followed him inside happily. She was faking it all. She felt terrible on the inside.

Vermillion takes Moon inside as they head upstairs to the Governor Marcus' Room. Once Vermillion opened the door to see Marcus at his desk, he smiled as he went up to shake his hand in happiness and gratitude.

"Mr. Vermillion, I'm so glad to see that you're well." said Marcus with a smile

"Indeed so. Anyway, sorry for any possible intrusion or interruption, but I'm here to report that we've treated everyone in Vilnius of the plague, so that all of your people are now safe." said Vermillion

"You have our sincerest thanks and gratitude... How could we ever repay your kindness?" asked Marcus

"Well...don't completely thank us quite yet... Treating the citizen is more or less phase one of taking care of the plague, as we're now moving on to phase two by thoroughly inspecting Vilnius to make sure that there are no traces of it left. My assistants, Viviana and Chika, have already started; and me, and my dearest friend, Moon, here will be helping to make sure that the city is safe from the plague once and for all." said Vermillion

"I see... Well I do look forward to the result of your inspection to hope that nothing bad will happen." said Marcus

"That's what we're hoping for. We only hope that the plague only has infect the population, and nowhere else as it would make everything easier, but rest assured that we'll make 100% sure that the plague is eradicated by tomorrow, so that your city can resume its duties." said Vermillion

"We appreciate everything you've done up to this point. Also your friend there is really cute." said Marcus

"Yep, she's really nice. I treat her more as a person than a pet." said Vermillion with a smile

"I see. She really does look very nice and gentle. You're more than welcome to move around in Vilnius, Moon." said Marcus

She bowed her head respectively. "Thank you Sir." She said.

"Now I feel bad having a cute woman like yourself helping us." said Marcus

"I can understand that notion. Other than that, that's all we have to report, so we'll be going now." said Vermillion

"I understand, be sure to have a good night's rest in our inns when you're done for the night. I'll tell them to give you the best rooms for free for your unparalleled services to our city." said Marcus

"Thanks. Just...don't make statues of us as it makes me feel kinda funny... I mean, I'm a warrior by trade, but all I want is to be helpful to the world, not worshipped like a God because we have all of these nice things that we won't hesitate to give." said Vermillion

"Speaking of that, I was wondering where Alexcia is?" asked Marcus

"Well...about that... You see, despite our ambassadorial duties, we don't normally share where our national kingdom is...for a few reasons... I would've be more than happy to tell you, but with many of us wanting to protect our queen, we're kinda a bit hush-hush about it... I'm really sorry..." said Vermillion

"It's okay, I understand. It's just like you said that you're, and many others back at home, are looking out for the queen of your kingdom. A very noble goal." said Marcus

"I thank you for your understanding, Marcus." said Vermillion

"Anytime. Be sure to come and visit me again before you leave our city tomorrow. I do want to say good-bye before you go." said Marcus

"Absolutely. We'll be sure to come by once we finish our inspection. Until then, please be patient for a little bit longer before returning your city to its normal duties." said Vermillion

"Very well. Have a nice night you two." said Marcus

She kept her head bowed. "You too Sir." She said kindly.

With that taken care of, Vermillion leads Moon out of the Governor Office as they now are outside, noticing that the sunset is going to start rather soon.

"Okay... With that out of the way, we should start our inspection as well. Of course, doing it very thoroughly could take a very long time...without magic... We each can have strong magical senses to seek and detect stuff that is familiar to us, such as the plague. Of course, as strong as our senses can be, it's still pretty limited in range so needless to say that I'm going to do a lot of walking around. Do you have a similar talent that could help me cover more ground? If not, then just keeping me company is good enough for me..." said Vermillion, smiling at the end

She smiled and walked closer to him. She chuckled a bit. Then she sighed.

"Is something wrong, Moon?" asked Vermillion as he clutches Moon gently

She nodded. "I feel terrible..." She said.

"Oh no... Now you're sick again? It could be something different than the plague. I'll take you back to the medical clinic to help you." said Vermillion

Vermillion then lifts and princess-carries Moon back to the medical ward as fast as he can to help Moon.

She stopped him before he could pick her up. "I'm not sick. I feel terrible emotionally." She explained before they could go anywhere.

"O-Oh... I see... But why? What's wrong, Moon?" asked Vermillion

She hugged him and started crying. "I don't know..."

"Moon... There, there... It's okay if you don't know what's wrong, but if you ever need any help, I'll be there for you. I do have to take care of my wife after all, right?" said Vermillion as he lovingly embraces Moon

She continued to cry as she held onto Vermillion.

Vermillion wishes that he could know what could be the problem that would make Moon sad emotionally. He couldn't think that it could be something wrong in her past, but there is a whole lot of possible bad memories that it'll be very difficult to pick out which pacific one that she's suffering from. Other than that, Moon has been treated really well in Vilnius. Some of the citizens even like her since she's a Neko.

She continues to hug him.
