All Vermillion can do to try and make Moon feel better is to continue to hug her until she's calm down...at least that's the only thing that he can come up with to make her feel better... Time continues to past as the two continue to hug each other for 15 minutes.

She tried to calm down...But she couldn't.

As time continues to roll by, a total of 30 minutes, Vermillion now knows that something is not right.

"Something is wrong here... Moon doesn't cry for this long without a reason... I wish I knew what the problem is... Maybe I should find Viviana and Chika..." said Vermillion deep within his thoughts

"Moon, we're going to look for Viviana and Chika. Perhaps they can find out what's the matter with you. After all, you are crying a bit too much for not apparent reason... I only wish I knew what the problem was... Is it something that had to do with your past? Or is it something different entirely?" asked Vermillion

"I think it's because of my past..." She said. "But I'm not sure..."

"Oh dear... That could mean a whole lot of things... Although, could it possibly stem from the recent memory that you showed us before you reincarnated into what you are now?" asked Vermillion

She shrugged. "I don't know..."

"Then I'm sure we'll find something out together...hopefully... Let's go find Viviana and Chika." said Vermillion

She nodded and held onto him.

Vermillion now picks up and princess-carries Moon to find Viviana and Chika. Meanwhile, Viviana and Chika have finished inspecting the southeastern and mideastern side of Vilnius, but still have a lot more ground to cover, having to not only look around outside, but inside of some buildings as well. Thankfully there hasn't been any traces of the plague up to this point as they continue on looking. Eventually, they did actually started to head back to the center of Vilnius to check to see if Vermillion and Moon are around inspecting the central area.

She holds onto him and hides her face within his neck...

Vermillion still ponders why Moon is acting this way. He has a hunch that perhaps that because she's either a Neko and/or a goddess that she behaves very differently at times, similar to the Great Spirits on some rarer occasions that they too behave strangely. 10 minutes later, Vermillion arrived at the center of town where they first split up, and was surprised that Viviana and Chika were coming right at them as well.

"Viviana, Chika, thank the Great Spirits that you're coming on up. We have another problem." said Vermillion

"So I see... Moon isn't sick isn't she?" asked Viviana

"No, she's not, but she's emotionally hurt badly for some reason. Moon doesn't know why either." said Vermillion

"Oh my... This is a first... Even in the past when I took care of Moon she doesn't behave this way...well at least without any reason..." said Chika

"That's why I wanted to meet you to find out if we can brainstorm to figure out why Moon is behaving this way..." said Vermillion

"Hmm... Well let's first head to an inn before doing anything first...for privacy, of course..." said Viviana

"Good idea. The Governor, Marcus, has given us free passage to any inn in town for the night for treating the population of the plague." said Vermillion

"How wonderful. I know of a really good looking inn in the northern part of town that I've passed by a couple of times looking for volunteers." said Chika

"Then I guess we'll stay there then. The pushcart is fine where it's at for now as we'll get our stuff later. Right now, Moon needs help." said Vermillion

The group then makes their way up north of the city to head to an inn that Chika told them about. As they were walking, Chika moves up close and behind Vermillion to see Moon's face.

"Are you okay, Moon? Why are you so sad...?" said Chika sadly as she then pets Moon's head

She keeps her face hidden from Chika and her ears were back. She didn't answer.

"This is very strange... I never see her like this..." said Chika

"I'm sure none of us had. I'm pretty sure she's not sleeping otherwise we would've heard something like what she's dreaming about." said Vermillion

"Yeah... Anyway, the inn is up ahead..." said Chika

The group arrives at the inn as they head on inside, the receptionist has expected them to come in as she has given Chika two keys to their best rooms on the third floor. Thanking them, they head upstairs to their rooms, opening and going to one of them as they all want to be here to help out Moon. Vermillion sits down on the bed, still carrying and hugging Moon gently.

"So... Any ideas? Unless if Moon is actually sleeping, I don't think that we can enter her mind the way she's acting right now... I'm stumped..." said Vermillion

"Me too... I don't think that healing magic will work since she's not injured either..." said Viviana

"Moon... What should we do to help you...? Everyone is worried about you..." said Chika deep within her thoughts, trying to communicate with Moon

She couldn't hear her...Her head was filled with the thoughts of many people's thoughts...It was hurting her head...This is one of the reasons why she was sad. She looked at them all, her eyes watery with tears. She then hid her face again as a voice in her head, clearer than the others, said, "You are worthless and stupid." She cried harder...

"Did you hear that?" cried Chika

"We all did... And I think I see what the problem is, seeing that Master mentioned that she's emotionally hurt. Something must be going on in her head that is making her act this way." said Viviana

"I see... But how can we calm her down? By going inside Moon's mind again?" asked Vermillion

"That's the only solution I'm seeing. I guess we'll need to call the Great Spirits again..." said Viviana

"Wait a minute, let me try something different first." said Vermillion

"What are you going to do, Lord Vermillion?" asked Chika

"I'm going to attempt to use my magic powers to harmonize and sync with Moon, that way we can access her mind without using the Great Spirit's Power." said Vermillion

"That's going to be difficult; but if anyone can do it, thanks to having such a strong bond with Moon, you can." said Chika

"Just do your best. You love Moon more than anything, so I'm sure your power will ring true to help her out." said Viviana

"Right... Here I go..." said Vermillion

Vermillion then concentrates his magical power very strongly as both him and Moon get engulfed in a fiery red aura. He then tries to help Moon out by silencing the noises inside of her mind, in order to make her listen to only his thoughts instead.

"Calm down, Moon. It's me, Vermillion. Don't listen to those voices inside of your head. Whatever bad things that they said about you is not true. You have so much potential to be very helpful to others, and you're the sweetest person I've ever met in my life. I love you, and I'll continue to love you for as long as my spirit lives on." said Vermillion telepathically

(I think I've read that right that they can hear that, right?)

(Yep.)
She looks at him. ~The voices won't stop...~ She thought to him and only him. ~It's because I was cursed....~

"You were cursed?! By who?!" asked Vermillion telepathically

~By an awful being...His name is Crow and he cursed me...~ She thought to him. ~He cursed me...But I don't know why...~

"Crow, huh? Someone that you know? If only we know where to find him then I can help put a stop to your curse. Is there anything I can do to help you now?" said Vermillion telepathically

Laughter could be heard...An evil, maniacal laughter... "You don't have to look far for me!" He said. "And don't even try to use that weapon of yours on me. My powers can make it to where that weapon won't even be able to make a scratch."

Moon's eyes grew wide in fear and she gripped onto Vermillion.
