"But for you to be possibly blinded on one eye, trying to see...it's very hard isn't it...? I'm sure that Mistress Stella had to guide you throughout your morning am I right?" said the woman

"Yes, I have been guiding Moon throughout the morning as she has trouble seeing things carefully..." said Stella

"I see... If I could, in the near future, I wish to try again to see if I can completely heal up her eye so she can see again. After all, not being able to fully see can be a burden is it not?" said the woman

"Especially since Moon joins Lord Vermillion on his quests, I'm sure that it'll be even harder for her to now join any more future quests. I'm sure Lord Vermillion will be just looking out for her as he can be a bit overprotective." said Stella

*Giggle* "I can't blame him... He's such a hard-working and caring hero... Truly an charming prince that almost every woman can dream of." said the woman

"Yes. I know." She said. "But it's fine. You don't have to try again, but if you would like to, go ahead. I know it will not work." She said a bit sadly. "But I will get used to it with time. I'll be fine and walking on my own in a matter of days. Possibly hours."

"Moon... *Sigh* Oh well... At least the offer was good enough I suppose..." said Stella

"I guess... Still it's quite frustrating that my healing powers couldn't completely heal her. Although not many know of my abilities... Much as least see me in this form..." said the woman

The woman turns around as Moon can see that Stella's friend is an Aruraune, a half-human and half-flower. Her skin is a light shade of green; her hair is also green but a darker shade with very noticeable strains of pink at the bottom; and finally she has light red eyes. Her bottom half is all flower, large with prism-colored petals. She also has two red flowers sticking out from her head as a personal effect.

She gasped slightly. "I...I thought your kind was...Extinct..." She said. "Long ago, my friend was much like you, but..." She shook her head. She looked at her. "You are so beautiful."

*Giggles* "Thank you for calling me beautiful, but in truth I'm still a Homunculus. You see this flower here is a very special kind of flower that I discovered a long time ago when I was out here exploring. When I first touched the flower it shown me visions of the past when people first planted it as well as what kinds of powers it processes. In a way this flower is sentient as it loves me to take care of it every day. Because of this the flower allowed me to fuse with it, transforming me to what you see here. I was nervous the first time I fused with the flower because not only I was scared that something bad may happen to me, but also I was afraid that we weren't a good match because I'm a Homunculus...a machine... The flower didn't care as it showed me that we're very compatible because of our personalities and the fact that we rely on magical energy to survive.

Oh! Now I realized that since this is the first time we can actually meet in a calm, relaxing manner, I forgot to introduce myself to you. My name is Alice, and my flower half here I called her Marietta. It's a pleasure to meet you, Moon." said Alice

"I did say before that Alice is very special. Though still mainly a Homunculus, she has the ability to communicate with the forest, and can fuse with that mystical flower, Marietta, to become an Aruraune. A beautiful and mystifying miracle to be sure." said Stella

She nodded with a smile. "It is wonderful to meet you as well, Alice. I personally find that the forest is one of the many places where I feel safe." She said.

"So do I~ Which is why I made my house here in the forest. A small, but sturdy cottage. I also do medical studies as I have a medical lab inside." said Alice

"As a potent healer, it's not surprising one continues to try and better themselves." said Stella

"Yes, indeed." said Alice with a smile

She nodded with a smile.

"Oh, I realized something that you said earlier, Moon. You said that Aruraune are extinct, yes? Whatever did you mean by that?" asked Alice

"I'm curious about this too. I'm sure Aruraune are rare creatures, but for them to be extinct without our knowledge? At least we could've heard or study about what cause the extinction in the first place." said Stella

"Long ago, I had received news that they were extinct. I guess that they've come back over time." She explained.

"I see... Well even though I'm technically not an Aruraune, I would love to see a real one someday." said Alice as she then thinks of something "Hey Moon, do you want to come see my cottage?"

She nodded. "I would." She said.

"Okay then~ ...But first..." said Alice

Alice then focuses a lot of power in order for her to separate from Marietta as it then returns to it's normal small size. Alice's clothes slowly returns as she wears a simple gown with a lot of floral patterns and designs. Alice also now has only one flower on her head, placed slightly above. Her skin and hair has returned to normal, pale skin and solid forest green hair.

"Please follow me. It's this way." said Alice

Stella takes Moon's hand as they follow Alice together.

She nodded and followed as she took Stella's hand.

The group traveled deeper into the forest for a few more minutes until they arrived at Alice's Cottage, complete with a river spring as a moat. The cottage itself, is rather small, but big enough for it to be a three-room house. Made with wood, bricks, and stone, it can stand up to the elements quite well, and it has that nice homely country feel to it.

"Here's my cottage~ It's both nice and comfy." said Alice

Alice then unlocks the door as she opens it.

"Come on in~" said Alice cheerfully

She followed her inside with Stella.

Alice's cottage, from the inside, is basically a three-room house with its rooms all in a horizontal line. The living room is in the middle, the medical lab on the left, and Alice's bedroom on the right. The furniture inside is nicely made as she also has blankets and cushions too.

"I very rarely have visitors, so this feels great for me to have some additional company." said Alice as she on a sofa chair "Please make yourself at home, but I suppose I should make some tea for my guests, yes?"

"Allow me. Moon, why do you go to Alice's side while I make tea." said Stella

She nodded and went to sit by Alice.

Stella then heads outside to make the tea as there's no kitchen inside of Alice's cottage.

"Moon, is it okay if I can pet you for a while?" asked Alice

"Go right ahead." She said with a smile.
