"Farewell, Moon. I hope you stay in good health." said Marietta

Marietta's persona fades away as Alice now resides back into her own body, returning to normal.

"Well that was an interesting conversation, but yeah... I did also asked Marietta the same thing, and she gave me the similar response to what she told you. Aside from that though, it seems that she has taking a liking to you...and I think she was on to something about you, but decides not to press on about it... So, what are you going to do now? It is about to be noon, I suppose you should head back to the Golden Castle with Stella, and see if Lord Vermillion and others have returned, yes?" said Alice

She nodded. "I should." She said.

"Then I'm sure Stella is waiting...right behind me..." said Alice

Stella soon steps out as she sighs.

"I'm sorry... I was wondering what's been going on, so I have been watching from afar, but as always, once Alice assumes the form of a Aruraune, she can easily sense anyone's presence in this forest patch. Anyway, this would be a good time to go back now to check, and if they are not present then I'm sure we can ask the Great Spirits to see how they are doing." said Stella

She nodded with a smile. "Okay." She said.

"Well we'll be going then, Alice." said Stella as she elegantly bows to her

"Stay in good health, you two. I, and Marietta, will look forward to your next visit here in this forest." said Alice with a smile

Stella then starts to lead Moon out of the forest.

"So what do you think about my friend, Alice? She's quite the interesting person with the ability to become a Aruraune, right?" asked Stella

She nodded. "Alice is very special and very kind. Marietta is wonderful too."

"I thought you might say that. Alice and I have been friends for a long time. She really surprised me the first time I saw her combined with Marietta to become a Aruraune...but I was--No! I shouldn't say it! It's so embarrassing..." said Stella as she starts to turn shy

"No no no." She said with a chuckle. She looked at Stella. "What was it?"

"Please Moon, don't push me to reveal what I didn't want to say... You know how it is that a lady wants to keep a few personal secrets close to her heart." said Stella

After a while, the church bells were heard from far away, signaling that it's 12 o'clock, noon.

"It's noon now. It'll be quite some time before we can get back to the Golden Castle. I hope Lord Vermillion and the others are there by the time we get there." said Stella

"Alright. I won't." She said. "And I hope they are too..."

It takes Stella and Moon to travel out of the forest patch, and through Alexcia to reach the Golden Castle, nearly 30 minutes as they stopped in front of the main gate.

"I just hope they aren't too worried or mad about what happened yesterday about your eye..." said Stella

"They probably won't be. And they shouldn't be. It was an accident."

"Yeah, you're right. We even tried the most potent healing magic to date aside from borrowing the power of the Great Spirits whose magic surpasses all us Homunculi, and that it can rival gods or deities in some sense. Anyway, let's head on inside." said Stella

The two soon entered, and as they entered the first floor foyer, they immediately met with a very familiar face. It was Mai.

"Hello Mai, I guess everyone is back then?" asked Stella

"Yes, everyone is back." said Mai as she then quickly goes up to Moon and hugs her "I'm so glad to see you again, big sis. Everything is fine with your leg now, right?"

"Yes, but another problem has risen up... A unfortunate accident accorded yesterday... Moon was playing with Lady Hilda's cat, Mimi, and ended up hurting her face, and is now blinded on her right eye..." said Stella

"What?! Is that true, big sis? Can you really not see from your right eye anymore?" asked Mai, turning a bit sad

She hugged Mai tightly. "It is true, Mai, but I'm alright." She said.

"But how can you be alright? You're almost blind! Mistress Stella, did you--" said Mai

"Tried basically every healing method? Yes, including my friend's potent healing powers...they weren't enough to heal Moon's right eye of blindness... Apparently the thing that Moon ran into had emeralds on it, and a shard got into her eye which caused the blindness. Apparently, Moon is allergic to certain emeralds." said Stella

"That's...interesting... So now what is Moon going to do? First her leg, and now her eye... Why does bad things always happened to Moon..." said Mai as she starts to tear up

"I wish we knew, but Moon said that there's nothing that we can do..." said Stella

She hugged Mai tightly. "Please don't cry...I hate it when you cry, Mai..." She said. She held Mai close to her.

*Sniff* *Sniff* "But it's still not fair... You're so nice and sweet to keep having all of this misfortune befall you..." said Mai as she starts to cry as she then holds Moon slightly tight

She rocked her back and forth and rubbed her back. She sang to Mai...

"Big sis's singing... It's been a long while since I heard you sing... The last time I heard it is when we first met, and that you changed my life for the better... Why big sis...? Why you have such a harsh life to live...?" said Mai as she starts to calm down

"Because..." She said. She sighed. "That's the way I was born...To bare hardships so that someone else doesn't have to bare them..."
