Vermillion stops his swing instantaneously as he notices the instant that Moon got in the way.

"But why?! Why are you going to let him go for something like this?! The past aggressions I can let go and accept it in time...even though I hate him so much for what he has put you through... But the Nekos...the blood that he forced you to put on your hands... How...? Even if he wants to make amends... How can you...for...give...him...?" said Vermillion as he wavers in the end

Vermillion once again powers down, but this time he dropped his Durandal, and dropped on his knees as he then starts to tear up.

"It's not fair... Ever since you told me how much you have nightmares for what you did in the past every time you sleep in your Neko form that you're always forced to sleep in your cat form in order for the memories to stay suppressed... You have lived such a very, very long life bearing such sad memories and responsibilities all from this selfish monster's jealously... Moon...how could you...? How could you forgive him...? How could you be so...strong...?" said Vermillion

She knelt down beside him and her eyes stopped glowing and went back to normal. She smiled at him. She put one hand on his shoulder and rubbed it. "I forgive him because there is no way to undo what has been done. There is no way to bring back the Nekos. There is no way to repair what has been broken. For that reason, I forgive him. He has apologized and wants to make amends and I forgive him for that too. I have looked for the good in him for decades..." She kissed him gently on the lips and then pulled back. "I trust him because I can tell by the look on his face that he is truly sorry. I can tell that he regrets what he has done. And I do believe there is more reason behind what he has done than just being jealous."

"...Okay... If you really feel so strongly that he'll make amends despite how much damage he has done to both you and the departed Nekos... I...I'll try too... It's going to be very hard, he will have to work a lot to even build my trust, but I promise that I'll never betray your judgement..." said Vermillion

Vermillion then calms down as he wipes his tears away and once again sheathes his Durandal away.

"I guess we're done here now? We tried everything with Ash to bring you back to us." said Vermillion

She nodded. She smiled. "Yes we are. And what you did was just the procedure for what I did to make Crow feel the pain that I felt."

"Okay... Then let's head on back... We sure have a lot of explaining to do...much as less try to prevent the ladies from fighting Crow... Thankfully they aren't the most combat-efficient. I'm just glad you didn't ask me to bring Lady Hilda along. Who knows what damage she would've done with her divine weapon, Gradivus." said Vermillion

She nodded and they all left her mind.

With Vermillion now back, he let his hand off of Moon as he then stands up.

"What happened, Lord Vermillion? You were suddenly just froze like a statue." said Viviana

"Yeah, well... You all are not going to believe what just happened when I went to Moon's mind." said Vermillion

Moon explained everything to Viviana, Chika, and Mai.

Everyone was completely shocked as to what Moon has explained. Crow, the one responsible for Moon's suffering, including the extinction of her kind, reformed? Everyone muttered amongst each other, including the Great Spirits. Much like Vermillion when it comes to Crow, they don't like, nor trust him at all... After a while, Vermillion decides to check up on Moon.

"So Moon, how are you feeling now? Is your leg and eye better now?" asked Vermillion

She sighed and shook her head. "I've talked with Crow. He can't seem to find a way to reverse what he's done. No matter how much he tries, he can't. It's fine though. I've gotten used to it by now."

"So there's really nothing we can do to help you...? We have advanced healing methods and technology, but none of it can be used to help you...? *Sigh* I guess that's it then... One of my most greatest wishes, and I'm sure many others, was that you'll be better so that you don't have to suffer any more..." said Vermillion

"I won't suffer anymore. I've gotten used to my disabilities and I can take care of myself with just a snap of my fingers. You don't have to worry so much, Vermillion. I know you care, but if I am ever in trouble, I will ask for your help." She said with a smile.

"That all depends if I can always be there... Especially if I have to go to someplace dangerous, which is why if there's ever something like that come up, I'm going to have to leave you behind. For your own safety, of course. I can't always protect you from danger." said Vermillion

"So now that everything is settled...surprisingly... What should we do now?" asked Viviana

"Well I, for one, want to go and rest after everything that has happened." said Mai

"Umm... What should we do about...Crow, though..." asked Chika

"Good question... I'll leave it up to Ash and Moon since they know him best. Also a word of warning, because Moon is both popular and cherished by the citizens of Alexcia, having the news finding out about Crow would lead to possible conflict, especially with the defensive military. As such, this information CANNOT leave this room. Everything that happened here stays a secret forever, to ensure of our peaceful future." said Vermillion

"I agree with Vermillion, keeping this a secret from everyone else not present here is for the best...especially if Crow wishes to live here in order to repent for his sins." said Celes

"Hmph... I for one don't like it if he stays, since he's the one that made Moon suffer throughout all of her life. ...But if Moon wishes...I suppose we can allow it..." said Orica

"I'm sort of leaning towards Orica's opinion as well... I think what's best for everyone, including us, that if he does stay here that he can only do so outside of the Golden Castle." said Larica

"Yes, I believe that's fair. He can have his own private residence as our children can build two-story houses in a day." said Aura

"Yes, I suppose that would be best. Are you in agreement of this, Moon and Ash?" asked Vermillion

"Also, when is Crow even going to wake up..." said Viviana as she stares at Crow

"He'll be unconscious for a while." Moon said. "And Vermillion, don't underestimate me when it comes to battle. I can end it all with just a breath." She said. "But I choose not to because the consequences of my actions will most likely be bad." She smiled though. "Crow will cause no more harm and I wish to watch him while he stays here." She said. "To keep an eye on him." She explained.

"Yeah...especially you have some troubles during fights that I have to bail you out of... But that's all water under a bridge. As far as watching him goes...I'll allow it if the Great Spirits find it acceptable..." said Vermillion

"I'm in favor of Moon watching over him." said Celes

"Aww...but that means Moon has to leave the Golden Castle, which means she'll visit us less... I don't want that... But if that what Moon wants then I'm okay with this..." said Orica

"As long as Moon supervises Crow then he's welcome to stay here in Alexcia...as long as he doesn't cause any trouble with us, or our laws..." said Larica

"Well since three of us agree to Moon's proposal, I guess I should too... But Moon...are you sure that Crow wouldn't eventually just turn on you and become violent? If so, you're more than welcome to hire any of our butlers or maids, including Viviana, Chika, and Mai if you so wish." said Aura

"That's fine. We'll help you in anyway we can, Moon." said Celes

She chuckled and smiled. "I appreciate your concern, but Crow will not be a problem anymore." She said. "He has seen the error of his ways and wishes to change due to what I did with making him feel the pain that I had felt." She explained.

"Very well... We'll have your new home made in at least two day's time. Vermillion, if you are available, can you over see the effort?" said Celes

"Yes, Queen Celes, I have plenty of free time, so leave everything to me. I'll get started right away." said Vermillion

"Very good. And what about you, Moon, will a two-story home do you just fine? Do you want to hire a maid or a butler to help upkeep your new home?" asked Celes

"Just something simple. Please." She said. "No maids or butlers or guards. I can take care of myself and Crow." She said.

"Well if you say so... You heard what she wanted, right Vermillion?" said Celes

"Yes. I'll get on it right away with the construction board." said Vermillion as he leaves

"We'll be heading back to our tower now if that's okay with you, Moon. We are done with everything, right?" asked Celes

She nodded. "We are." She said. "I'll stay with Crow."
