She nodded with a smile. "I'm glad I made Chika happy."

"And I'm sure you're happy yourself for having Chika being such a great caretaker both in the past and present, right? Anyway then there's Mai. Oh Mai... She's one of the youngest maids, able to become one at the age of 11. She's full of energy and happy-go-lucky, but more importantly that she's obsessed at meeting demi-humans like yourself. I don't know when this obsession began, but I think that she read up and has seen art and illustrations of various demi-humans of the world. I think at that point that she finds many of them either adorable and/or beautiful, and hopes for one day being able to see them in real-life... Of course, because she was still very young...I think she's 15...? Anyway, it was dangerous for her to leave outside of Alexcia, so she had to wait until she's trained enough to go out on her own... I heard that you almost got badly hurt by that obsession, but you were able to teach her something very important that caring and loving people, even if it's the first time meeting them, you shouldn't let your emotions get the best of you." said Vermillion

She nodded. "I won't." She said.

Eventually, as they were talking, the carriage arrives and goes by at Alice's Forest Patch.

"I always wondered about this forest patch. We do have two Forester Lounges to replant trees and wild mushrooms for medicine, but I feel like there's something more in there, but people haven't found a thing about that forest patch...like it's enchanted, or something to prevent us from getting in deep?" said Vermillion

She smiled when they past it. "I've been there..." She said.

"Oh you have? Did you find anything interesting in there?" asked Vermillion

"Yeah, but...I'd rather not tell you." She said. "I don't think I'm allowed to."

"I understand... It must've been something really amazing in there to prevent people from finding it out about it in Alexcia's history." said Vermillion

The carriage soon passes the forest patch as they're now in route to Fira District. Eventually church bells were heard as it rings in 4 o'clock.

"Getting close to evening time." said Vermillion as he then takes a sip of his apple cider

She nodded. She wanted something to drink now. She repeated the same thing Vermillion did when he wanted a drink except she asked for a sweet tea.

A sweet tea did appear right before Moon's hand, ready to be grabbed by her.

"So decided to try out one of the carriages features after all, huh?" said Vermillion with a smile

She chuckled and smiled. She got the tea and drank some of it.

10 minutes later, the carriage arrives in the mountainous Fira District as it runs around the base of the mountain before heading through the town district itself.

"Well here we are at the Fira District, our second to last stop on our carriage ride. I wonder if you are still alergic to emeralds ever since what happened yesterday?" said Vermillion

"I am. But it's only certain emeralds." She said. "Fortunately, it's only the emeralds that Crow makes. It's because of the magic he infuses into it that makes me allergic to it. Any other emerald is fine." She explained.

"I see... Still we should be more careful handling emeralds from now on for your sake..." said Vermillion

As the ride goes through the town district, Vermillion finishes up the drink of apple cider as he then makes his cup magically disappear.

"That was a good drink. I have no interesting in snacks or treats since we will be eating soon." said Vermillion

She smiled and drank some of her tea. She put it down and held Vermillion's hand.

Vermillion warmly blushes as he grasp Moon's hand. He feels like he wants to do something with Moon, but so many random thoughts about it plagued his mind. His mechanical heart is also racing, making him even more nervous. Vermillion ends up looking away from Moon for a short while.

She smiled at Vermillion and kissed his cheek.

"Ah... You beat me to it again... I'm just so shy trying to do this, but I think that maybe it's because it was going to be my very first time kissing someone. You're really not afraid to kiss aren't you, Moon? You're just so bold and brave... I need to step it up so I don't get undermined by you." said Vermillion with a calm smile at the end

The carriage eventually exits out of the Fura District as it now takes a side path that takes them to the Cela District, their second to last stop before heading out to the Central Intersection.

She smiled and chuckled.
