"Okay. Now let's return to the Vermillion and Mai." said Viviana with a smile "That's strange, I've said three particular words, and she doesn't even comment about them? I don't know if she's either playing dumb, or that she doesn't want to know which is very typical for her... I think it's the latter..."

Viviana let's Moon go as they regroup at the doorway leading to the third and final transitional stairway.

"Thanks for calming Mai down in my place, Master." said Viviana with a smile

"It wasn't easy mind you... I can believe you dumped me with this sort of thing. It's supposed to be your job as a High Maid, not a Hero's like myself." said Vermillion

"I know, I know... But I just had to warn her, and what to do in case she goes on a rampage again. Of which...Mai?" said Viviana

"Y-Yes, Mistress Viviana?" asked Mai in a somewhat scared tone

"What do you say to Miss Moon here?" said Viviana

"I'm really sorry for hugging you without permission, miss... It's mainly because how I was...umm... Is it okay to say it, Mistress Viviana?" said Mai

"Hmm... No... Not yet... Let's go to the Cathedral first before telling her as she'll definitely find out there." said Viviana

"Oh...okay..." said Mai, feeling guilty

"In any case, let's go to the Cathedral. Mai, you come too." said Viviana

"Yes, Mistress Viviana." said Mai as she sticks to her side

"Well I guess we should go too, right Miss Moon?" said Vermillion

[Alright. Good night.]

(I'm up!)
"Alrighty. And Mai. It's alright if you hug me, just ask next time." She said and smiled.

"Okay." said Mai, somewhat with mixed feelings

The group go through the third and final transitional stairway in order to reach which is essentially the very top of the Golden Castle. Exiting out the transitional stairway, the group comes across a hallway with three doors from the far left, far right, and center. The hallway itself isn't too special other than having a single large chandelier and some everlasting candles decorative throughout the hallway, making it somewhat ambient.

"This here is the final hallway. Taking the center door leads to the Cathedral, and taking either the left or right door takes you through some defensive stations. Nothing much to see from the defensive stations, so lets head through the Cathedral." said Vermillion

The group then takes the center door as they enter a golden glass hallway (Which is basically called a skywalk) that leads to the Cathedral, with the Cathedral itself looking rather large up close. People can also see inside of the Grand Ballroom below somewhat as well as some gardens and training grounds. As they continue to walk through the glass hallway, Viviana feels a bit reluctant about something.

Moon continues to follow... "This place is...just wow..." She says completely in awe...

As the group gets hallway across the skywalk leading to the Cathedral, Viviana immediately stops and blocks Moon's path.

"I won't let you proceed any farther, Miss Moon..." said Viviana in a shallow tone

As Viviana blocked Moon's way, Vermillion and Mai noticed that Viviana is blocking Moon's way for whatever reason.

"Viviana, what are you doing?" asked Vermillion

"Please stay out of this, Master. There's something that I want to confirm with Miss Moon first." said Viviana

"...... I understand... Mai, let's just patiently wait here." said Vermillion

"O-Okay..." said Mai, afraid what could possibility happen

"What is it?" She says. She's confused...

"I can't let you in our sacred place of birth because I think that you really don't care, or trust us..." said Viviana

"I do care, and I do trust you..." She says. She looks to Viviana. She hugs her. "Viviana...I do care...I'm just in awe of how amazing this place is..." She says.

"Really...? Not even when I told you around certain keywords during our secret discussion, and you once never made any comment about them? Even that one time when we traveled, you noticed that I said something very strange, and you caught on to that, so why was that different from what we talked about earlier?" asked Viviana

"Because. You said you would tell me why, so I was patient...I wasn't gonna say anything because I knew that you would tell me why..." She said and smiled.

"Even though I was going to tell you a bit about that back there?" said Viviana

"Viviana, I think Miss Moon is being sincere. I'm sure that deep down you feel the same way, even if you didn't have to go through this exercise." said Vermillion

Viviana just pauses in silence as Moon's hugging starts to make her cry.

"I'm scared..." said Viviana quietly

"Don't be...I won't ever treat you badly...You're my friend Viviana...Trust me..."

"Really? What we truly are...is somewhat not too different from you, Miss Moon... Also we only have one true purpose in our lives, and yet you'll see us carrying on normally without so much as to not find us weird, or uncaring? Can you really accept that too?" said Viviana trembling

"I'll accept everything...You may be different, but you're my friend...Everyone is different, but our differences make us special..." She said.

When Viviana heard those words, she couldn't help but to cry as she now embraces Moon.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry that I didn't trust you..." said Viviana in a sobbing fit, barely was able to get the words out

"It's alright..." She said. "I'll always trust you.." She said.

"Okay... Thank you so much, Miss Moon..." said Viviana

Viviana feels better as she let's go of Moon.

"Let's go to the Cathedral. There you'll learn our history, our founding of Alexcia, and our one true purpose in our lives." said Viviana

She nodded and smiled as she let go as well.

Viviana and Moon rejoins Vermillion and Mai as they continue on the skywalk to reach the doorway that leads inside of the Cathedral. Once at the doorway, Vermillion places his hand on the door as it reacts to his touch odd mysterious ways with swirling lights, sounds, and flashes.

"The door to the Cathedral is magically sealed to keep any evil invaders from entering. It also prevents any unlawful entry because other than us, Homunculi, there's no other reason for anyone else to enter as you'll find out that the Cathedral itself serves a much more different purpose than a church." said Viviana
