"Then I wondered why you decided to become a maid in the first place?" asked Mai

"...! That's...umm..." said Viviana as she turned slient

"Is it a secret? Aww... I wanted to know so badly..." said Mai

"It's really nothing special, because..." said Viviana

"Because...what...?" asked Mai

"It's because...I wanted to eat sweets whenever I want..." said Viviana with an embarrassed look on her face

"Really? I was expecting something more than that... Not something to like satisfying your sweet tooth..." said Mai, acting somewhat disappointed

"Sorry... I just love sweets... No matter how much I eat them, I can't get enough of them, especially since our bodies are special that we won't suffer from health problems relating to eating a lot of sugar. Something that I'm really thankful for the Great Spirits when they made us." said Viviana

"Yeah..." said Mai

"I on the other hand, can get health problems from sweets. That's why I don't eat many of them." She said.

"Even though you're a goddess? Well I suppose since you're also a Neko that you're more 'down to earth' in a way." said Viviana

"All things considered though, you are very special, and you have a lot of powers too. You can do a lot of things that our Great Spirit Creators can't do, big sis." said Mai

"I know." She said. "I don't like the big titles though..." She sighed. "I don't like to feel more powerful than others unless I need to be..."

"Yeah... Still it's really neat to know that you have such powers...even though we don't rely on other people to help us... We're just happy just the way how things are going, it's peaceful, it's friendly, no wars, and no crime..." said Viviana

"Anyway, I think we've talked long enough about Moon's talents." said Mai as she notices the book that Moon has "So what do you have right there? A book?"

"Is it what I think it is?" asked Viviana

"I was just writing more for my series." She said. "Oh! Mai doesn't know!" She explained to Mai what had happened while they were in the library.

"That's so neat that you have your own series of books, and that you even have a book signing of your fans all at the same time. Now I want to get one of those books. I should definitely head to the bookstore when I get the time." said Mai

"Why not go after the event? I'm sure that they'll be plenty of time before it rains. Speaking of which, I was hoping to get a hay ride before it starts raining since Lady Larica did say that it's cloudy, and that there are rain clouds coming this way. You should bring your umbrella just in case, Mai." said Viviana

"Don't worry, I will, Mistress Viviana." said Mai

"Well then have a good day you two." said Viviana as she gives an elegant bow

Viviana then leaves in order to go to her room first to grab her umbrella before heading out to go to the farmlands.

"I guess we should get going too, right big sis?" asked Mai

She nodded.

"Let's go then, big sis." said Mai as let's out her hand for Moon to grab

She grabs her hand. She smiles.

Mai and Moon walked out of the Golden Castle together holding hands during a cloudy day. They soon arrived at the central intersection as they see a lot of people gathered around for the unveiling of the weather sphere with a brand new scientist going to explain to everyone how it works.

"Quite a lot of people here for this interesting weather sphere. I kinda looks like one of those planetariums back at the Alchemy Institution." said Mai

"There's a planetarium?" She asked.

"Yeah. Though our scientist only know so little about the sky, we only know and heard what our Great Spirits told us. Remember what they said earlier that they can see different worldly planes? Well from what they told us, it's similar than seeing what is called a universe, through those planes, thus they know a lot about what's up there in the sky. Of course, as they said earlier, that though they can see the different worldly planes, they can't transverse to them even though they are celestial bodies." said Mai

"Wow." She said.

"Yeah. Though I'm curious to know how the weather sphere is supposed to display the weather information--Oh! It's starting." said Mai

The scientist gives one final check as the workers give them the okay to begin.

"Hear ye, one and all, I'm Professor Alister from the Alchemy Institution here to unveil our newest invention thanks to everyone's contributions and ideas for making this possible. I give you, the weather sphere." said Alister

The workers activate the weather sphere as five rings of various sizes started to float up and start to spin in all sorts of directions, wowing the crowd a bit.

"The device's function is very simple: It magically collects data in the sky, telling us what the weather is currently, and what it's going to be like a the very near future as it continuously gathers and updates it's information. It will also tell us if there's any disasters coming our way such as thunderstorms, snowstorms, and flash floods." said Alister

After a while, the weather sphere slows down a bit as it display a large soft glowing light of gray with a sky blueish tint all around it.

"And here we are, it's first weather forecast of weather sphere." said Alister as uses a bit of magic to gather what the weather sphere has obtained "I see. The weather sphere is calling for rain to start at around 2 o'clock, so everyone should get their umbrellas if needed to go outside if you don't want to get wet. The weather sphere magically tracks changes in the sky, so it's very accurate at what time when the weather starts to change into something different than the current weather." said Alister

"I see... I have to admit that's really neat, right big sis?" asked Mai

She nodded. "Yes it is..."

"Now at this time, you can only get and see the information here, but in due time we will make miniature weather stations that receive the same information from the weather sphere, so that you all don't have to come here all the time trying to find out what the weather is like. Well have one in each major district, including the Aristocratic District, and in the farmlands to help farmers plan for proper weather for crops.

Finally, after a little bit of fine tuning which is happening right now, everyone will be able to access the weather information by using your own magical power to retrieve it. Until then, ask the workers if you want to know about the weather, or the weather sphere itself. That's all I have to say about the weather sphere. I thank you all for coming out to see the unveiling of this wondrous device that I'm sure many people will enjoy." said Alister

Everyone gave out a round of applause for the demonstration and the unveiling as people slowly start to disperse to resume their businesses.

"That was a pretty good event, eh big sis? Well we now know what time the rain is supposed to start, do you have any other business to go to aside from the bookstore?" asked Mai

"No I do not." She said.

"Then let's head over to the bookstore as you did say that you want to check up on your series is selling." said Mai

She nodded and smiled. They headed to the bookstore.
