Chika wasn't going to let go either, she wanted to do so much in order to make her happy from her sad past deeds. She knows that Moon is a really good person that tries her best to help everyone...even if it meant the sacrifice of others to prevent a major catastrophe...

Mai suddenly feels like she should leave them alone for a while, but was afraid that Moon was going to end up missing her, and make her sad... She then decides to stay for a little while longer...

"M-Mai..." She says as she turns to look at Mai. "I'll sleep with Chika tonight. I hope you don't mind." She says.

"Not at all. I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on, so by all means, please stay with Chika for tonight since you did say that you're going with Lord Vermillion tomorrow on his quest to deliver medicine to Vilnius." said Mai

"Vilnius? That's quite far on foot... Even the most veteran of travelers can take you at least three days to get there on foot at minimum." said Chika

"Oh, I have an idea. Why don't you also go with Moon on her trip." said Mai

"I shouldn't... I mean granted I do have free time, but I never know if Master will get another job at any time. If I really do want to go, I should consult with him first." said Chika

"Why not ask big sis if she wants you to come along?" said Mai

"Well...I could, but it should be fine just the three of them... Four people would be a bit too much..." said Chika

She still held onto her. "I'd really appreciate it if you did come..." She said.

"Moon... Okay, I'll do it. I'll ask Master later if I can go. I'll make sure to see you with his decision by tonight...I promise..." said Chika

"I really hope you can go. Best friends with such a long bond should always stick together." said Mai

"Yeah..." said Chika

"Also, you two have been hugging each other for more than ten minutes..." said Mai with an amused smile

"O-Oh, haven't we?" said Chika surprised by the realization

She still didn't want to let go. "I know." She said. She knew that she had been hugging her for that long. "Thank you Chika." She smiled.

As long as Moon is with her, she doesn't care how long they hugged just so as long as she's with her.

"Anything for you, Moon..." said Chika

"Well I suppose I shouldn't disturb you two, so I should just go, and do some work around the Golden Castle." said Mai

"Thank you Mai." She said. She smiled at Mai.

"I'm just glad you're happy, big sis. I'll see you two later." said Mai

Mai then leaves the room as now it's just Chika and Moon alone now.

"I wonder what we should now that we're together, Moon?" asked Chika until she remembers something "Oh, I know, in the past I remember giving you a bath. We should take a bath together a little later if that's okay."

"Sure we can." She said. She smiled.

"Oh I remember the times that you used to hate baths when we were together. Eventually I came up and developed a special kind of water magic which dulls the natural senses of water which you ended up liking a fair bit as we bath together... Those were some good times... I wonder how you are with water now ever since we last seen each other? I know that cats naturally hate getting wet because of their fur and skin, but since you're a Neko with a more human form, I wonder if it makes you different? I know that in the past you were afraid of thunderstorms, and I took you to a special place to dull out the sounds of thunder while I also sing to you to calm you down. That was one of my most favorite times... Which made me love to sing songs, even if it does make any sense vocally." said Chika

"I still hate getting wet..." She said. "And I still hate thunderstorms...Did I ever tell you why?" She asks and looks to Chika.

"That's fine... And no, you never did told me why you hated thunderstorms. You were very introverted, sorrowful, and quiet that I had to choose my words very carefully. You were delicate to the point that saying anything scary to you would make you do something very dangerous. It took me many days for you to remotely trust me, but I never hated any moment of it, since as we gotten closer you came out of your shell." said Chika

"I hate thunderstorms because..." She looks at her tail and shuts her eyes tightly. She holds onto Chika tighter. "Because a lightning bolt struck my tail and took part of it off..." She said. "It never grew back."

"You poor dear... I did notice that you always have kept your tail close to you at all times in the past, but I would never expected that was the reason. I did noticed that something was odd about your tail, but of course, being very careful with you, I never asked. I wish I can do something about regrowing your beautiful tail back, but all I can do for you is to make it so it'll be less sensitive and stressful for you with my water magic. That is if you wanted me to do it." said Chika

She shook her head. "It's fine. I've gotten used to it. Thank you for the offer though." She said. She still kept her tail close to her.

"That's okay then. Hmm... I wonder what else I remember that did with you in the past?" said Chika as she then thinks a bit before remembering something "Oh... Although you never did do anything, but every time that we were free, and while you were in your adorable kitty form, I wanted you to play with a yarn ball so much. Of course, I've should've guessed that you may be too old in the past to do such a kiddy thing... I did felt very bad if I've insulted, but at the same time I wanted to see it, or at least have something that you would be comfortable to play with, and if I can join." said Chika

"I can do it now if you'd like." She says with a smile.

"You really don't mind? I'm mean...it's kinda embarrassing for us grown women to play together on something so childish..." said Chika as she then blushes quite a bit "I do have a ball of light-blue yarn on top of my long dresser right there that I use for knitting if you really want too though."

She nodded. "I do want to." She said.
