"Understood, but we may have to look around area a bit as this footprint can tell us how close the troll is. It is fresh, so it has been made recently, but that's all we now. Let's move ahead, and search around the area. Chika, you should stay behind, and cover the rear." said Vermillion

"Right!" said Viviana and Chika

Chika gets off of the wagon as she searches behind them for the troll while Vermillion and Viviana searches forward.

"Benjamin, you can ride ahead slowly, but be sure not to get ahead of us. The last thing we want is for your four horses to be scared off, and ruin your cargo." said Vermillion

Benjamin obeyed Vermillion's commands as he rode on very slowly behind Vermillion and Viviana.

"You can search with us in the front or back, Miss Moon. It doesn't matter much." said Vermillion

She nodded. "I'll help search in the front." She said.

"Okay, Miss Moon. Let's take a look around the area." said Vermillion

Vermillion and Viviana searches cautiously around for the troll, or any sign of more footprints that'll help them point to the direction of the troll's lair. 20 minutes of slow, alert, walking progress, the group finds another large footprint, but this time there's a large drag track beside it, evidence that something large was dragging something large trough the path.

"Hmm... This here is a big clue..." said Vermillion as he then touches both the drag line and the footprint "They're both very soft. I think we're very close to finding the troll, be sure to get ready for anything."

"Understood." said Viviana and Chika

Vermillion moves on ahead of the group to possibly follow the direction of the drag line that takes them off the main pathway, and likely into some forested area. A good place to possibly find a troll's lair.

She continued to help look. "Wait. I have an idea." She said.

"Oh? Then let's hear it." said Viviana excitedly

"Hmm... I'm curious what you're going to come up with." said Vermillion

"Viviana. You already know what I'm thinking of doing. I've done it before. Remember when we needed to find Vermillion before I came to Alexcia?" she said.

"Of course, you can use your powers to magically search for the troll." said Viviana

"I see... Well I'm sure that we've already explain what it kinda looks like. We're looking for a large troll that is at least 7-8 feet tall. Although, I'll sure we can find it at that lightly forested area up ahead right there." said Vermillion

"Let's let Moon do her thing, besides if the troll is not there then we'll definitely need her help finding the troll, and where is it likely going." said Chika

"Right... Well, Miss Moon, do your thing please." said Vermillion

She nods. She closes her eyes. Her ears perk up. Her eyes glow gray and she looks for the troll...

As expected on what Vermillion has said where the tracks lead to the small forested area, the troll is right there eating it's freshly caught bear...quite gruesomely... Moon can see that it's a very large troll with purple skin and leather clothing, and has a very large spiky club.

"So, did you find anything, Miss Moon?" asked Vermillion

She shivered a bit. "Yep...I found it." She began to describe the troll to them...

"I see... So it's really up ahead in that thicket of woods, huh? Also, one more question, is it the only one, or are there others?" asked Vermillion

"Just one." She said. She shivered as she continued to remember what it looked like.

Moon was correct that she only see the one, and only the one large troll eating the bear. Afterwards, Chika embraces Moon, thinking that she was scared as to what she had saw, and wanted to comfort her to calm her down.

"Perfect, we now have the number and the description of the large troll, and if we can work together on this I'm sure that this will be a very easy elimination. I thank you sincerely for finding the troll, Miss Moon, but it looks like you're a bit afraid of when we'll meet it head on. Perhaps you should stay behind at the convoy while we'll handle this." said Vermillion

"Yeah, though me and Chika aren't that good at fighting, we can greatly support Master while he fights the troll. Also since we now know it's exact location, we can ambush it for a really easy time and win...hopefully..." said Viviana

"Ye of little faith, Viviana? Sure what we're dealing is a very large troll, but I'm sure we can handle it." said Vermillion

"I hope so..." said Viviana

"I'd rather fight...I'd be more worried about you all than that troll..." She said. She smiled a bit. She hugged Chika back. "I'll be fine." She said.

"If you insist, then let's be on our way. The sooner we get to it, the faster we can strike first, and gain the upper hand." said Vermillion "Benjamin, stay behind while we take care of this troll. The last thing we want to is for the troll to get attracted to your cargo. If we run into trouble, we'll let you know."

Benjamin obeyed Vermillion's commands as he let his horses graze for the time-being. Meanwhile, everyone else beings to walk to the forested area to find and hunt down the troll. When they just about to enter the area, Vermillion realizes something important that they need to consider.

"I just realize something, with everyone going we'll leave the convoy unprotected. Someone should stay behind to make sure that the convoy doesn't get attacked while we deal with this." said Vermillion

"I'll stay behind, Master. Mistress Chika and Miss Moon will be excellent supports for you." said Viviana

"Are you sure?" asked Vermillion just to be sure

"Yes." said Viviana

"Okay then. Hopefully nothing comes to pass, but if something does happen, be sure to have the convoy get away while we act as a distraction." said Vermillion

"Understood, and be careful you three." said Viviana

"Don't worry, we will." said Vermillion

Viviana begins to make her way back to the convoy, leaving Vermillion, Chika, and Moon behind at the edge of the forested area.

"Okay... Let's do this..." said Vermillion as he begins to march into the forest

She made a white sword appear and held it to attack at the ready. She followed Vermillion.

"You can use swords too, eh Miss Moon?" asked Vermillion, surprised by this

"I didn't think you could wield weapons as well as magic, Moon." said Chika

She smiled a bit. "Well, it's a sword I made." She said. "I only use it when needed." She explained.

"I see... Well even then, as much as I wanted to, I wouldn't ask." said Vermillion

"Ask what, Lord Vermillion?" asked Chika

"It's nothing, pay no mind--Wait... I think we're getting closer... I hear some strange noises..." said Vermillion

Indeed as they get closer, the noises get a bit more louder. They are very close to the large troll's lair.

"Okay. We should talk very quietly now as I think that the troll is up ahead. As we now got the element of surprise, this would be a good time to plan out a ambush attack to give us an advantage in battle. Since both Miss Moon and I can do it, we should cast a powerful fire magic, but I'll need some time to charge mines before my attack becomes effective. What do you think, Miss Moon?" said Vermillion quietly

"I say that's a good plan." said Chika quietly

[Great timing for my internet to fail just as I was posting this much earlier...]

She nodded. "Sounds like a plan. When it's distracted, I can strike it with my sword. It deals a lot of damage. Even with the tiniest cut, it can deal great damage." She whispered.
