"Okay, that's great. I propose that we do a pincer attack, that way it can't fight us at two different places. I'll attract it's attention while you deal with the fatal blow." said Vermillion quietly

"Sounds good to me. You two got this wrapped up nicely." said Chika quietly with a smile

[It's fixed, but it's just talk about bad timing.]

She nodded and continued to follow Vermillion.

As the odd noises continues to get louder, the group eventually comes to a clearing up ahead. Vermillion ducks down low as he moves on over to the edge to peek beyond the clearing. The large troll is right there, still gruesomely eating a bear that it caught, and the lair is right next to it as well, knocking out two birds with one stone according to their objectives. The lair itself is not all that big, but it's big enough to satisfy the troll of all of it's needs.

"Okay... It's right there still eating that bear...rather gruesomely...but try to bear with it since we need to get rid of it for the good of the world." said Vermillion quietly

"You also made quite a bad pun, Lord Vermillion." said Chika quietly with a smile

"I know...and please, this is not the time to laugh at it... We got a job to do, Anyway, I'll head on over to the other side. Moon, you stay here with Chika, and keep an eye on things. I'll give you the signal when to strike telepathically." said Vermillion quietly

She nodded. She looked to the troll and waited.

It took Vermillion 5 minutes to get into a prime position for a pincer attack without alerting the troll. He then took out his Durandal to stick it out forward at the troll, and started to charge up for a big fireball attack.

"This is going to take a while... Because of the special properties of my fire magic, enchanted to make it so it doesn't cause any environmental damage, or actual burns, I have to charge a lot of my internal magic to change the properties in order for it to become threatening. I'm going to be weakened quite a bit once I fire this, but this should give us the edge we needed to wrap this up quickly." said Vermillion, deep within his thoughts

As he continues to charge up his fire magic with his Durandal, making a large fireball, Chika and Moon continues to wait for the signal to start the attack.

"Lord Vermillion should be ready soon. I did recall that Vermillion's fire magic is very special since he was one of the very first Homunculi made for combat. As such he's also have magic that can be used offensively, but at the same time the Great Spirits want to make it so that it's not threatening to people, especially in the event that if he ever went berserk. The Great Spirits has given Lord Vermillion a powerful enchantment to both his fire magic and earth magic inside of his body, and they are powerful enough not to be removed naturally." said Chika quietly

[*Sigh* First my Internet conked out on me, and now not having power in my room for about 9 hours is just really bad luck... It doesn't help that I'M the only one that is affected by this...]

She nodded. She continued to wait.

5 minutes has passed as Vermillion's fireball attack is just about finished.

"Alright, I'm ready to go now. We'll attack on 3 on my go." said Vermillion telepathically

"Okay, I think we got the signal. Let's do this right, and we can all go with our heads held up high." said Chika

[It's alright. The living conditions are bad, it's just that it happens so unexpectedly...]

She nodded. ~Alright Vermillion.~ She thought to him. She had her sword firmly gripped in her hand and she was ready to strike it...

Vermillion is now ready to fire the fireball.

"Okay... On three... One...two...THREE!!!" said Vermillion telepathically

Just as the was about done eating, and was about to move to someplace else, Vermillion's large fireball was launched and it was about to hit it square in the side.

She teleported to the troll's neck and sliced it. The small cut turned into a big gash. She jumped to the ground and got back...

With both Moon and Vermillion's attacks connecting. The troll both groaned in pain from both the gash in it's neck, and being on fire as well. The fireball burst not only on the troll, but also it's lair as it becomes more on fire each passing second, soon being completely engulfed in flames. Meanwhile, the troll goes berserk trying to put out the fires still burning it while also knocking down trees randomly, and also starting fires on them. One of the trees that the troll knocks down starts to fall at Chika and Moon, while some others start to get on fire since the troll is constantly ramming at them in order to put out the fire.

"That troll is pretty resilient! Watch out you two!" shouted Vermillion

Vermillion then jumps out into the area on fire, at a spot that's not on fire, as he starts to fire beams of light at the troll's back. Meanwhile, Chika notice that a tree, that is also getting on fire, starts to fall down at her and Moon.

"Moon, watch out for that tree!" cried Chika as she gets out of harms way

"What?" She said. She looked up at the tree. Before she could move, the tree fell onto her.

"MOON!!!" yelled Chika as the tree fell on her

Hearing Chika's voice, Vermillion stopped his attack on the troll to see what was going on, but before Vermillion could move to check it out, the troll grabbed it's spiky wooden club and threw it at Vermillion. Managing to be able to see it coming just in time, Vermillion manages to block it with his Durandal, but the force knocked him back so hard that crashed right into a tree, and ended up getting stuck by the club impaling the tree. Meanwhile, Chika searches around for Moon, hoping that she is okay.

"Moon! Moon! Where are you?! Tell me that you're okay." cried Chika, fraught with worry

Unaware by Chika as she searches around for Moon, the troll was getting closer to both Chika and Moon.

Moon was unconscious...She was alive, but she was unconscious.

"Moon, where--*Gasp* Moon!" cried Chika as she saw her under the torn down tree

The tree was also on fire at the time, so Chika uses her water magic to dose it before it reaches Moon. Afterwards Chika checks up on Moon to see that she's breathing, but unconscious.

"Oh she's just unconscious... Thank the Great Spirits..." said Chika

After a while, Chika notices that the troll is coming right this way, and getting closer to trample Moon under the fallen tree. The troll, not on fire as much and has a lot of burns, saw Chika as it viciously thrashes over to her, not noticing that it'll trample over Moon if she doesn't move soon.

"No, don't come any closer!" cried Chika

Meanwhile Vermillion tries to break free from being wedged between the tree and a the spiked club, but to no avail as they are stuck really hard together for him to break free on his own.

"I hear Chika is in trouble, and judging by the yelling from earlier, Moon is in trouble too! I got to break free and fast, but this stupid club is not moving! Curses!" said Vermillion, deep in his thoughts

She still lay unconscious....There was nothing she could do...

With Moon still unconscious, and not being able to move, Chika had no choice but to try a stall out for Vermillion to help. Chika uses all of her water magic to push the troll back, but every attempt was futile as it not only made the troll angrier, but also douse all the leftover flames still on it at the time. Eventually, Chika was at her last legs as she pretty much used up all of her internal magical energy to stop the troll at every turn, as the troll was about to step on the fallen tree that Moon was stuck under. Once the troll finally steps on the fallen tree with one of it's feet, on it's way to Chika, the heavy pressure was about to crush Moon's body, but Chika uses the last of her magic power to create a powerful water gel on the ring around both Moon and the troll, preventing it from moving and crushing Moon. Chika started to breathe heavily, trying her best to stay awake and control her magic, because if the water gel goes away, then Moon will get crushed.

*Pant* *Pant* "Lord...Vermillion... Help...us...please..." said Chika, struggling to keep herself awake and in control

The troll viciously frails around, trying to break free from the water gel that one of it's foot got caught under. The more it keeps it up, the weaker Chika's control over the magical water gel starts to fade as the troll not only is about to break free, but the pressure on Moon's body is about to get even harder. Despite the burns and the gash, the troll is using every last bit of it's strength to kill both Chika and Moon, basically taking them down with it as the gash, along with the fire and burns around it, was a fatal blow.

Meanwhile, Vermillion tries, but fails, to break free from the wedge between the club and the tree as he has no other choice but to invoke the Release Mode.

"Time is running out... I have no choice, but to invoke Release Mode to save both Chika and Moon... I cannot let them die here!" said Vermillion, deep in his thoughts

The life crystal inside of Vermillion's body starts to spin extremely quickly in place as it shines very brightly while the magical energies inside start to go mad, turning it into a red mist. Vermillion starts to invoke a very powerful and suppressive red aura.

"Gurrrrraaaaagh!" growled Vermillion in extreme anger and rage

Vermillion, with his magical powers on overdrive, uses his powers to immediately break free from the wedge, destroying both the tree and the wooden club not only in little pieces, but in ashes as well.

When the tree had fallen, Moon's sword had gotten lodged into her leg...She was bleeding, but it wasn't visible. She was still unconscious...

Chika's magic finally gives out as the water gel evaporates, and with it Chika also falls unconscious as she expelled too much energy beyond her limits. However, just as the troll breaks free, and was about to crush Moon with the fallen tree along with it's weight, the troll was immediately impaled off the ground and into the air. With the troll now suspended in the air, the weight crushing Moon's body with the tree has been lifted. Vermillion impaled the troll with a extremely powerful version of the Durandal that can be only triggered while in Release Mode, the Durandal turns into a shining bright white while it makes a soft ringing sound. Vermillion then finishes off the troll by taking the Durandal and completely slicing it up in two from head to toe, showing it's insides a bit before completely fading away in white ashes that vanishes away with the wind. With Vermillion's powers almost at his limit, he uses his earth powers to stump the fallen tree out of the way, and puts out all of the fires with mud from the ground. He then notices that Moon's sword has been lodged into her leg, but instead of pulling it out, he immediately dispels the blade away by counteracting the magic with his.

After getting rid of Moon's sword from out of her leg, Vermillion's body finally reached it's limit as he immediately burns out and falls on the ground, forcing him into a deep coma and his body temperature is very high, making him dangerous to touch. Thankfully, Viviana arrives just a few seconds after Vermillion fainted as she then notices that Moon is bleeding from her leg, so she immediately treated her injuries first by using both her nature and healing powers together to completely repair her leg first before rejuvenating her body with power in order to make her conscious again. This method does take a lot out of Viviana, but she has to do whatever she can to help Moon as she's in the most danger than either Chika, who is just extremely exhausted, or Vermillion, who may be in a deep coma with a very high body temperature but his life is not in danger.

She woke up to see Viviana. "V-Viviana?" She stammered. Her back was in pain from where the tree fell on her.
