As Moon catched Vermillion, however, she'll notice he doesn't feel right...like he wasn't even there... She can feel and touch him, but he's not really there...nor that he even responses back to her as he stands at the ready again... As Vermillion was about to charge at the shadowy figure, still obscured by the dust cloud, suddenly black needles start to fly at Vermillion, stopping him in his tracks as he was forced to deflect as many as he can. There was one, however, flying straight at Moon at high speed.

"MOON!!!" cried Chika

Chika knocks Moon out of the way as the black needles pierced through her body. She let out a yell, but then she notices that it didn't hurt, nor that she hand any pierce marks on her body. Chika was confused by what just happened as then another black needle pierced right through her again, but nothing happened to her as she was just fine.

"Wait...what...?" muttered Chika as she was very confused as to what's going on "Wait a minute... I wonder..."

Chika then runs up to Vermillion as she then touches him while he still continues to deflect the black needles. What happened was shocking, as Chika's hand suddenly goes right through him...like he was a ghost...

"I knew it... I sort of had a feeling that this might happen... But what is really going on here...?" asked Chika

Suddenly one of the black needles, as Vermillion deflects it, was a bad hit as it knocks him off balance for another one to pierce right through his right shoulder. Vermillion grunt out in pain as he then uses his Earth powers to make a wall to temporarily block the rest of the black needles while he recovers. He then took the black needle out of his shoulder slowly as then blood starts to come out of it, but he won't give up as he fights through the pain and readies himself again.

"What valor... I never seen Lord Vermillion this serious before..." said Chika

[Yeah... I should've made it so that Vermillion actually goes through Moon...if you can catch my drift as to what's going on in this scene... But because of you actions, I did have to compromise a bit. My apologizes for not making this clearer earlier.]

She watches full of confusion...

Vermillion's rock wall eventually gives away as he then jumps high in the air again, but this time his body bursts into roaring flames as he then charges right at the dust cloud which eventually disappears to reveal the shadowy figure ready to fire even more black needles at him. The shadowy figure tons of black needles at the flaming charged Vermillion, but as they collided at him the black needles bounced off of the flame aura as Vermillion continues to charge at the shadowy figure. As it was about to knock Vermillion away with it's large hands, Vermillion drops straight down under it's arms as he then gives out a powerful piercing slash right through the shadowy figure, cutting it in half. But Vermillion was not done yet as he stabs and impales through the shadowy figure as he makes it raise up in the air while he cries out

"Final Requiem!!!" shouted Vermillion

The Durandal shines brightly as it then lets out an enormous beam of energy which the shadowy figure was completely immersed into it. With one final scream, the shadowy figure fades away, being completely destroyed by Vermillion's Final Requiem. After the battle, a couple of white orbs appears from the sky as they then take on shapes of Nekos and Eleanora. Suddenly another version of Moon appears as she was hugging one of the Neko silhouettes as they all started to hug Moon too. Then the silhouette of Eleanora goes up to hug Vermillion for a bit in thanks as they watched Moon crying happily to be reunited which is essentially her family that was killed by the same shadowy figure that Moon told them about a long time ago. Suddenly a voice was heard, sounding really close by to both Chika's and Moon's location.

"Viper Vermillion's truest wish and desires... In order to change the past, to create a better future... This is what you three have witnessed..." said the mysterious voice

Moon was crying when she watched the silhouettes...She looked at Chika and hugged her. She didn't know what to do...She couldn't touch the silhouettes...They weren't real...

"Moon... I think I understand... From what the voice has said, this is a vision of what Lord Vermillion wants... To destroy the shadowy figure that killed Moon's friends and family and Eleanora; revive them back to life; and then reunite them with Moon for a perfect and happy ending... But the silhouettes... I don't understand..." said Chika

"The silhouettes represents what Viper Vermillion thinks and imagines who and what they are, but are incomplete... Because Viper Vermillion doesn't know what the Great Spirit, Lady Eleanora, or what Moon's family and friends look like, they turn out to be white silhouettes of themselves to fill in the blanks. As you would expect, this is not real...it's all a fantasy...an illusion...but Viper Vermillion feverently wishes for this to happen one day...even if that said day will never come..." said the mysterious voice

Suddenly a shining form of Vermillion appears before both Chika and Moon. Vermillion's form is that his body is completely pure white while there's a large red circle appearing on his chest, surrounded by red lines. His face only display him having red eyes and ears only...no mouth or nose can be seen...

"You, Moon, who shares a strong connection to Viper Vermillion, you have the ability, if you wish for it, to alter this wish in anyway you wish. You can either fill in the blanks as to what your friends and family look like...or you can make them disappear if you find it disagreeable with you..." said the Vermillion silhouette

"W-What?" She looked at the Vermillion silhouette...She dried her tears. She looked to Chika and Viviana. ~What do I do?~ She thought to them both as she layed her gaze on them.

"Well the curious question is that will it either affect or change anything to Lord Vermillion's soul?" asked Chika to Vermillion's silhouette

"It varies... Completing it will make the illusion completed which will affect Vermillion's soul in different ways...albeit with only slight effects... Otherwise, eliminating them will not do anything negative, but will still hold these wishes close to his soul. In all honestly, restoring them will be the best idea. Viper Vermillion knows that nothing may bring your friends and family back, but it would make a nice memory for him to remember...possibly forever..." said Vermillion's silhouette

"What do you mean by that?" asked Chika

"Viper Vermillion's life crystal is very special as it holds...[Warning! Information is inaccessible!]" said Vermillion's silhouette

"So you can't tell us no matter what...?" asked Chika

"...With some exceptions... But permission from Viper Vermillion is required..." said Vermillion's silhouette

"I see...I think I have the gist of it... Moon, I say that you should restore them to what they really look like...that is if you really can remember... It's like what Lord Vermillion said here that it won't bring your family and friends back, but it would be a nice way to complete this illusion... I'll leave it up to you to decide..." said Chika

She nodded. She looked to the silhouettes of her friends and family. She closed her eyes and pictured what they looked like...She made the silhouettes look exactly like her friends and family. She smiled a bit.

"So that's what they look like? *Giggles* I can't help but to see them being so cute together." said Chika as she smiles too

"I'm glad that you decided on making them what they truly are instead of making them disappear... I wish the same could be said of Lady Eleanora, but unfortunately no one knows what she looks like...except for the Great Spirits, but even then they don't want to reveal what she looks like... Likely because they don't want to reopen old wounds...especially to Lady Orica... Although, Lady Ena was made to be like Lady Eleanora in a way, so perhaps--Chika, please help me out on this." said Viviana

"I was wondering when you'll come around, but okay." said Chika

Both Viviana and Chika then concentrated hard on the imagine of what Ena looks like as they've changed the silhouette of Eleanora beside Vermillion into a larger, mystifying, version of Ena.

"I doubt this is what Lady Eleanora looks like...but at least it gives it some closure to this illusion..." said Viviana as she smiles a little bit

After a while, the illusion showing everyone of Moon reuniting with her family fades into a blinding shining white as they then reappear in the sunset grassland/ocean view again with the sphere of light floating in front of them. Vermillion's silhouette then disappears as then the sphere of light shows them the imagine of Moon reuniting with her family again. It then circles around the three slowly for a while before it starts to move to the Cathedral, trying to compel them to follow it to there.

"I think the sphere wants us to head to the Cathedral. We should check it out since we're here." said Viviana

"What about Lord Vermillion as he has disappeared." said Chika

"I'm sure he has his reasons. I think all he wanted was to explain what was going on during the illusion, but other than that, are you okay, Miss Moon?" said Viviana

She nodded. "I think so." She said. She followed the sphere of light. "Let's follow it." She said.

"Was it really that bad seeing them? I mean I can understand that what you saw is kinda cruel, but I think that we can understand that if we can change the past during the time which it happened, and if he can save them at that time, I'm sure that you'll be happier than you are right now." said Viviana

"I agree with Mistress Viviana. I think what you should do is talk to Lord Vermillion when we see him as I think that he would not only want to know what you want to say about it, but also that he'll explain why he created such an illusion in the first place." said Chika

While traveling, the group almost arrives at the Cathedral.

"It's bad because..." She looked down. "Because I had to watch it...Seeing that....It reminded me of the pain I felt when I lost them...The whole event played over in my head...I bursted into tears just thinking about it..." She said. Tears had formed once more and she hugged Chika...

"Moon..." said Chika as she stops and embraces Moon as well

"I suspect as much... I understand that what Master did may look unforgivable, but I think we can all agree what he wanted to do... Hmm... I wonder that's why his behaviour was kinda...odd..." said Viviana

"Odd? What do you mean by that, Mistress Viviana?" asked Chika

"Well Master has been feeling very down lately, as well as he feels very focused...but not in a good way as he has been training a whole lot lately...like he's processed..." said Viviana

"I haven't noticed that. Maybe it's because of Moon obviously, right?" asked Chika

"I think so too. I think it's likely because Lady Orica and Moon have a lot in common, they're both higher beings, they both lost someone very close to them, and they both can be quite emotional...no offense to you, Miss Moon as we love you just the way you are..." said Viviana

*Giggles* "Mistress Viviana, you said that you love Moon." said Chika with a smile

"Ah! I-I...umm... Please forget what I just said...please..." said Viviana, both nervously and blushing heavily at the same time

She smiles and stops crying as she looks at Viviana. She lets go of Chika and hugs her. She chuckled.

"M-Moon...please..." muttered Viviana, still nervous and embarrassed, but then after a while she then hugs her "I'll always try and do my best to help you, Moon..."

"Oh ho? Not calling Moon 'Miss' twice, eh?" said Chika with a sneer

"Ah! No... Not again..." said Viviana as she then starts to drown herself into sorrow

"Oh come on, Mistress Viviana, you two have been together for quite some time, more than a week basically, you should not be embarrassed to call Moon by just her name without the title. I can understand because of your status as a High Maid, but you should really not be so uptight about it all the time. You should be more free-spirited and unrestraint, kinda like Mai." said Chika

"I...I guess..." said Viviana as she starts to feel calm and normal again

She chuckles. "I like the nickname Mai gave me." She said. "I like to be called Big Sis by her..." She smiled. "I don't mind just being called by my name." She said. "It's alright if you don't say Miss before my actually name Viviana."

"Well Mai calling you big sis is not very surprising. She's one of the youngest maids that we have at the Golden Castle, and she is very innocent and childish; but because we're a created species we don't normally have parental/relative ties to each other...well I guess we do consider the Great Spirits not only our creators, but also our ever loving mothers, as not only we take care of them, but also they take care of us too. I suppose that in some rare cases, we also start to have strong imitate relationships with--" said Chika

"S-Stop! No more please..." said Viviana as she then blushes again

"Oh...right... It's obvious why you want me to stop right there because you love Lord Vermillion...although that's old news to just about all of us..." said Chika

"Chika!" cried Viviana

"I'm just trying to help. After all, you shouldn't keep those feelings all bottled up like that. I would even say that they are the main reason for your very rare clumsiness during your work as a High Maid." said Chika

"You really think so?" asked Viviana

"Trust me, Mistress Viviana, I know so." said Chika

Viviana then starts to go deep in her thoughts about some things.

She pulled back from the hug and laughed a bit. "It's alright Viviana." She leaned forward and whispered into her ear. "If you can keep a secret...I have liked Vermillion for a while now, but never said anything because I knew you loved him and I didn't want to interfere." She said. "I've always thought of you all as people who deserved to be treated equally."

*Sigh* "I knew you would say that, but to be honest with you I...wouldn't mind if you would get into a intimate relationship with my Master... Just so you know that if you try to then I won't lose to you...Moon..." said Viviana as she whispers into Moon's ear

As they whispered to each other, Viviana starts to smile rather cheerfully which starts to confuse Chika as to what's going on between them.

"Oh is that so?" She whispered back. She chuckled a bit. "If that's a challenge...Then I accept..." She laughed quietly.
