In a world where magic and the 'nonexistent' are only spoken in intellectual whispers. Not all magic things are seen, just the regular Karno and Jer. Which are small beings that serve the human race. Only bought in egg form, to be raised by the owner in any way.
Karno: A carnivorous animal with a snarky attitude and a vocabulary most scholars envy, though if lucky and raised right they can be reliable source and ally. About the size of your avarage housecat, these furry little beings stand on two legs and have small, but still sharp, claws and fangs.
Jer: A fruit demon, judging by it's stomach. Jers are pretty much peaceful. They resemble a bat with an access of light fur, usually whites and greys , with fat little furry bodies and miniature leather wings. They are easily swayed by almost any kind of fruit, but most prominently strawberrys and grapes.
The sounds of war are heard in the taverns, whispers of treason and spies making many unsure of who is friend of foe. And now, at the height of tension, the 3 Kings have agreed to hold a festival, in hopes of settling any doubts of alliance.
But this time, more than any other time in recorded history, is the best time for disaster. For no reason that can be explained, fantasy and reality seem to be clashing.
Secretly, scouts formed from the Kings most trusted are looking for soldiers worthy to fight against the evil that is plaguing the kingdoms. First, it was just stealing of livestock and food. Then animals became either sick or wild eyed having to be put down. Now, there have been reports of murders on the inside of the domain of the Kings. Most think they are the Demon King's men. Who posses magics that far surpass Fremagin, the Kings most called on Wizard.
So far, only a select few have been chosen. None however seem to possess all the skills needed to help in this dark era. But just as things seem as worse as they can get, beasts, once thought as myths have been spotted. Few at first and now more frequently. Fading and appearing as if they wore invisible cloaks that shielded them from the human world. Even the uncommunicative elves have begun appearing along with other beings that have left the people to their own demise, seeming to know if they don't assist then they would likely be vanquished next.
Hopefully, they can save this world...

Downing her third drink, and setting it down on the table with a loud bang, Aguria sighed and stood. Walking outside of the tavern to look out upon the crowd of people. Observing the happy faces of the merchants selling their wares. Now that the kings had declared the festival, everyone has been ignoring the obvious. Food was not going to postpone the rumors that spread like wildfires from people's mouths.
War was going to come soon, she could feel it in her bones. Just like when the battle between her village and their rivals made the air fill with anger and fear. The cause of her banishment. Playing with the feathers of her arrow now as memories flooded into her head. Which she lifted to look up at the sky. Things were about to change dramatically, and those that were not prepared would be killed or slaughtered. Fools they were . . .

Perched on the top of the many buildings int he city, he could have easily been considered a gargoyle. The motionless figure in grey looked down at the people in the bustling marketplace, a hidden and sinister grin on his lips.
"So many... so many..." His voice was one of a haunted admiration, as one would speak of so many animals that could only serve a purpose as dead. Next to him a rather large coffin shaped box lay on a rooftop, the sides of it clamped down with iron straps.

More and more people seemed to crowd the street. Aguria's eyes caught a child holding a small egg in it's arms. Shaking her head, she stood up so that she no longer leaned against the tavern wall. People relied on too many things to help save them from fate. Instead of taking the initiative to learn how to fight on their own.
No wonder they were so scared of the rumors going around. And they should be, because she doubted stronger enemies would pass up the chance to take what the kingdoms so desperately tried to save from the rubble. "We are a hopeless mound of flesh. Might as well be handing ourselves on a golden plate to the enemy." Aguria growled under her breath.

A woman with long silver hair in a short black dresslwith white lase and gloves to mach, layed on a wall that was supporting one of the stands at the festival. She heard of the war that was soon to be emerging and decided to see what would happen to the kingdom at its darkest hour. She examined the people going by, their smiles so carefree. "What is wrong with these people?" She said to herself. "If they continue on like this, they would be rendered helpless to an attack." Luna pulled out her spell book, examining new spells to learn in case needed.
Ditch stood, taking the coffin box with him as he made his way to the ground through a back ally. He began to move through the crowd, his aura making people step away from him out of a chilling hand on their neck.
Aguria felt something sinister in the area and was immediately alarmed. Where they under attack? Beginning to head into the crowd to try to blend in and try to catch a glimpse of whatever was causing her hair to stand on end. Then she saw someone conspicuous. "A coffin? I don't like the look of this at all." Adjusting her bow and quiver so if she may need it fast she could have access.
Luna felt the hairs on her neck stand on end and reached for her sowards that formed an X on her back in case this was a suprise attack. She saw a strange man with a coffin box. Could this be the sorce of the aura that made her feel unsafe? She glared at the man that gave off the sinister vibes, her purple eyes turning green.
The man continued forward, paying little mind to the people around him. However when he felt a threat towards him, he stopped, and grinned. "Careful careful little mice..." He chuckled, his eyes glancing around.
Ditch bolted forwards, pushing people aside roughly as he ran. Mindless slaughter had it's place, but would serve him nothing here and now. No, he needed room to breath..

As Ditch ran through the streets, someone was suddenly pushed into him rather then him pushing that someone to the side. It was a forceful enough push that it stopped him in his run and made him stager to the side, but not hard enough to completely knock him over. A laugh broke out around them and a figure quickly disappeared from the crowd, the man who had shoved the other in an effort to stop the running figure.
Aki didn't want to start something right in the middle of the festival, but he certainly wasn't going to remain ignorant to the presence of the sinister intruder. He pulled his hood up and he quickly walked back past two woman, both of whom looked like fighters. He chuckled, lightly feeling the sword he had on his side along with the state of the art gun he had paid for. A fairly hefty price too along with the powder and ball. "Feel free to follow the fellow but I wouldn't cause a commotion if it's unnecessary. Potentially just keep an eye on him." he said as he passed them, only loud enough for them to hear though.

Aguria agreed with a slight nod, appearing to leave the scene only to backtrack behind the building and running into the shadows. Since she lacked the protection of a cloak she would use what she had. Bow already notched as she made her way toward her target by navigating the back alleyways.

Luna flinched as he ran by, but agreed. She fliped onto one of the rooftops and started to run beside the chase, ready to spring into action when necessary. She jumped from one roof to the next, following the chase as it continued.
Ditch regained his balance, but didn't turn after his rough. The person didn't generate fear, so it wasn't of interest to him. Eventually he came to a seedy side of the town, stopping for a moment and looking around. Less humans, perfect. He turned, swinging off the box and letting it land next to him with a heavy thud.
he smiled, and waited for the two after him.

Aki chuckled as he watched them disappear to the other side of the little festival. He SHOULD go and chase down that good for nothing creep, but there was something he wanted to do first. He needed his guns shined and his sword and knifes sharpened. It shouldn't take that long anyway especially with all the games and drinking. Everyone was probably too busy worrying about their purse rather then how good their weapons gleamed.
He quickly made his way over to the metal smith and disappeared inside the shop. He would do it himself actually. Wouldn't take too long.

She saw him in the open, but made no move towards him. Perching on the top of a near by building to get a better view. Maybe they were paranoid. Maybe this man was just reaaaally creepy and had no intention of harming the kingdoms or the residents in them.
Luna stoped and sighed as soon as the man stoped. "Well, there goes a per fectly good chase." She said to herself. She looked at the direction of the man that ran, thinking about the way he was acting. "I should probly go after him."
The man adjusted his hat, grinning under his hand. "Come now mice... don't be shy..." His aura got thicker, a vile thing that made a person without willpower quiver inside. His eyes looked up, and he stared breifly at teh one on the roof, as well as the magic user...
Luna flinched as she felt the man look at her, but gazed at him with anger. "There is something about that man that I despise." She started to run to him, drawing her swords.
It only took minutes for him to sharpen his blades but after that he was on his way to the fight. Even from this distance, he could feel a disturbing presence about. He chuckled and quickly started running through the streets. It didn't take him long to catch up to the action. He didn't head strait for the sinster areora though. He took a bunch of alley ways behind the man and appeared on a roof behind him.
"Ah~ So sorry I'm late for the fun. It doesn't look like anyone has really started though." he purred just in time to watch one of the girls run for the man with her SWORDS out and prepared. "Just in time actually." he purred to himself with a smirk.

She knocked an arrow, getting ready to fire if he attacked. She wanted to make sure that this wasn't an innocent human. Aguria was not going to repeat what happened to her brother. Never again. Shaking her head from the flash back, she focused her gaze upon the man.
