I like, horror rps, fantasy, sci Fi, sometimes romantic. Uhm, I think I might be gender fluid but I'm not too sure. My sex is female though. I hope to find friends and someone that roleplays Albert Wesker, Leon S.Kennedy, Steve Burnsides, and Freddy Krueger. Uhm, I'm just really hoping someone can help me recover from my depression and anxiety. Erm... I've been rping for 4 or 5 years now but my skills have decreased due to a hard writers block as of late. I have ADHD so I might be outta order sometimes... Just like this post. I don't really have any favorite subjects in school... And I don't have a job yet. I hope to become a famous writer some day but that'll never happen... I hope I'm loved and one day I'm not so messed up. And I'd like to know how to best use this site.

A good resource to check out is the Getting Started Guide, but the Help documentation of full of spiffy stuff for new and old players alike, and it's all pleasantly digestible. You're also always welcome to ask questions if there's anything you're not sure about.
Many folks here also deal with various issues. I've been diagnosed with ADD and Anxiety myself, and I'm currently in meds for Bipolar Disorder. For the most part, we try not to let it get us down though. We're certainly not a replacement for things like proper therapy, and this site is not intended to help people work through any problems, but many of us don't mind listening a bit now and then and trying to help each other out. You'll likely be hearing from some of the members who are a little more aware of and involved with that side of things though, so don't rely on my word. ^^

I guess how to best use the site is up to what you want to do, but if you're talking about finding some juicy RP, most people start in the Looking For RP forum to find some other players. There's also a search tool that will help you find what you're looking for within that forum - click "Find RP" in the top menu, then "join game" then scroll to the bottom to adjust your preferences for game types. If you want more info on using that search tool, here's a handy help article complete with a cute video tutorial.
If you end up joining someone else's RP, they'll let you know the details about how to join in.

By the by, you can use the "launch chat" button at the top and bottom of any forum topic, whether it's in a private group forum or our public RP forums, to turn your topic into a real time chat! There's also a link in the sidebar of private messages that will let you do the same.
If you run into any road blocks, you may be able to find the answer just by typing the question into the search box at the top right there -- but if that doesn't work, as you can see, we're all very friendly and willing to answer questions!

This gives you access to profile building tools for the group, but also to creating your very own forums!
- In some cases, you and your RP partner might even decide to use some other messenger or game to RP on.

RPing is a pretty good way to get out of depression, it worked for me~ Just take it easy, talking helps and being less stressed is good too
