Within' minutes, I'd see my line start to tighten.
I'd yank on the pole, setting the hook.
I'd lift the line out of the creek, pulling out a 17' inch Bullhead Catfish.
I took to the tavern my favorite place to go at midnight's like these. And this midnight being dark, cold, and wet. Perfect for a cup with nice hot chocolate mixed with ale.
"Nice, My favorite."
I'd put the four and a half catfish inside of my burlap creel.
I arrived at the tavern and I ordered the hot chocolate ale and drank until it seemed like my heart was about to give out.
I saw a drunk slap a maid's ass and bring her closer to him.
"C'mere you stupid whore..." The man said drunkenly holding her tight.
"No, please... let me go..."
The woman begged for mercy at the man threw her onto the table.
I sighed and put down my cup. I took out my dagger and approached the man from behind and stabbed him in the back of the neck snapping his brain stem in half, if the dumb drunk even had one.
"Oh, oh god... Th-thank you so much." The woman said crying.
I helped the woman off the table and she then said
"I can take care of myself, thank you very much though."
Yeah right. This was just a woman that worked at a bar not exactly the highest combat trained person. I went back to my seat and took a sip of my alcoholic hot chocolate. It was cold, dammit.
I'd pick up my bag, and return home.
I'd open the front door, and went inside.
I placed the catfish on my cutting board, And pulled out my fillet knife.
I fillet'd the catfish, and sliced off the skin.
