Ramsey Hellfire (played anonymously)

The Land of Sile is an Long Island nation far to the west of most other civilizations. Three Centuries ago there was a civil war and it left the land susceptible to a dark presence... Demons crept into our word through the greed and lust created by the ruin of the Clan Wars. But in Sile's darkest moments rose the Hunters, trained Demon Slayers that study and assassinate the many forms of Demons... They even killed the King of Demons and lord of the undead, ORCUS! All that was left of the Demon was a single horn of dark energy and corruption, locked away in the catacombs under the Dark Church of Hunter's it was kept safe for ninty years, until now.

Ramsey fired a crossbow bolt out into the night and the tip hit it's mark, exploding on a giant crab clawed demon detaching it's arm from the rest of it's body! The creature fell bleeding a black liquid and screaming something in the language of Infernal... "Their here for the horn!" Rams yelled down the tower. The Horn had power unlike any other, it had shifted over the decades and was weakened, however the Demon's knew that just a spark of their demonic magic could access it's greatness. The power to kill anyone just by looking them in the eye, the power to curse someone just by saying their name, and the power to burn cities to the ground with just the flick of your wrist. "Defend the Horn at all costs!!!"

The city of Goldhark was under attack from all sides, the capital of Sile, falling to the likes of these creatures! Demon's never worked together, they were too greedy and self centered. Demon's hadn't worked together since the fall of Orcus nearly a hundred years ago and now this? Ramsey knew the leader of the Dark Church, a woman named Lady Erin Churchill would be rushing bellow to guard the Horn with her magic, but even the most powerful Hunter couldn't stop this many Demons alone... Dropping his crossbow Ramsey pull his daggers out, Hunger and Thirst and went to work.

The battle lasted through the night and up into the next morning, the sun had gotten pretty high in the sky before the demons began to retreat from Goldhark. Ramsey stood infront of Lady Churchill when she spoke to him, you need to leave here Mr. Hellfire, gather a team and take this Horn away from here... I'm putting you in charge of gathering a team and finding a way to destroy the Horn of Orcus am I clear??? Rams looked at Erin and nodded, "you have my word m'lady, we will destroy it..." And by night fall Rams ((with the Horn wrapped in white bandages and secured on his back)) and his specially chosen team walked out of the half destroyed gates of Goldhark on their way to try and destroy the Horn...
The first to follow Mr. Hellfire was the surgeon Pygmalion. To him demons were the opportunity he waited for. The medical community in the Land of Siles had long since excommunicated him, and his chances to practice become almost not existent. The hunters however needed medical personal and were not quick to ask questions about one's past. The opportunity was grand, and the work he could do sublime.

"So Mr.Hellfire sir, Any ideas were we are heading with this thing? I would love to get a good look at it if we are going to be carrying it around for long."

He kept his hands at his side, but his eyes were violently groping the horn.
Bodrik Sharp (played by RoyaleX318)

Bodrik had joined the Dark Church more recently then most, his uncle Fargrim Sharp had started the church with Lady Erin Churchill almost a hundred years ago. The young dwarf was equipt with a Dragonslayer Bow and an assortment of Ice Arrows, Fire Arrows, Lightning Arrows, Acid Arrows, and most of all Holy Arrows. Bodrik had traveled here from across the eastern Sea to learn some magic from his Uncle who was a great Wizard, but after seeing all the good the Dark Church was doing for the Land of Sile and the world... Bodrik decided to join up.

The dwarf walked out of the gates with Ramsey and Dryden, he was the teams ranger, good for long ranged attacking and tracking enemies. Plus his Uncle told him to go on the journey or he probably would have sat this one out... After the attack last night Erin and Fargrim were the last two leaders of the Dark Church and after a quest like this Ramsey and the others would deffinately be made council members. "There is a doctor my Uncle knows who specializes in magical items, he lives in a village on the far north I think... Tusk was his name, unless you got a better plan Sir?"

"No leads yet exept for the direction the demons came from when they attacked Goldhark city... They came from the south and so that is were well head first," Rams looked at the dwarf, "Our messengers have already been sent to speak with Fargrim's Arcanologist, you just worry about not dying." Hellfire knew that it was a bad idea sending this fresh blooded greenhorn off on a quest such as this but most were afraid to volunteer due to the sheer amount of demons in the fight the night before. "The Misty Forest is to the south so we will get supplies in the Humber Village on the forests edge... Seeing how that's a day's journey by foot when we get there we'll catch up on sleep and purchase horses!"
What supplies to we have right now?
Angrim (played by floatch)

(Sorry for not posting)

Merrick walked alongside the other three, his bastard sword on his waist, shield on his back and worn cloak trailing behind him. Merrick had heard about this quest from one of the nobles that he has connections with. He immediately offered his services to the king. Merrick couldn't stand to watch his city burn like that without a retribution of any kind, especially if the retribution involved him being paid a hefty sum.

Emperor Alexander Ark

Emperor Ark hated the Dark Church, he believed that the church somehow was linked directly to the apearence of demons a century ago. Emperor Ark, leader of Sile, would never suggest to an esteemed knight to undertake such a sinful quest. In fact he may even threaten to strip your knighthood for engaging with the Dark Church. The Church is the reason we are targeted by Demons, do not assist them Merrik. Stay in the city and help me with another mission. Once Mr. Hellfire and the other Hunter's leave their numbers will have dwindled, that is when we do a mass arrest and thrown the Hunter's remaining in jail. The Emperor is tall with a neatly trimmed white beard and long white hair. He is a hundred and thirty years old and still looking like he's in his sixties, If you join this Crusade of Evil, you will not be welcome back in Goldhark Merrick... The church needing to spend it's funds to rebuild itself, there would be no sum of gold in it for Merrick, for now only Ramsey, Dryden, and Bodrik walked out the gates of Goldhark.

((P.S. If Dryden doesn't post with at least quotation marks around his dialogue, my character won't respond to him and I as the writer will assume your thinking to yourself.))
Demons (played by Thekaleidoscope)

Three demons watched the city of Goldhawk, they had watched the failed assault and were now waiting for the humans response. It was not that they were part of or even overseeing the attack, they were a special team with orders to react to any human movements. All wore dark black cloaks over their demonic forms, one finding it harder to hide what it was than the other two. This one was huge and hulking with four heavily scaled and thick arms, each ending in dagger like claws. The other two looked more human, one even looked like a mage wearing a knights helmet. As they watched the one in the centre who was currently sat down, the cloak on it seeming to billow out light fog which hung to the body stood up. "They are making a move". The voice came to the other demons as if from all directions.

The hulking one grinned. "Excellent, It has been a while since I killed such humans." It began flexing its muscles as it watched the city. "If they pass through a town do I have permission to kill the inhabitant's?

The response was a simple nod of the head.

"Don't make any efforts to engage..." Ramsey and the others were highly trained demon Hunters of course it was no suprise the three could sense the presence of the three Demons. "Just let them follow us away from the city, and well confront them a bit farther out." The group continued walking about an hour or so out, not in a rushed pace however, Ramsey assumed that more Hunter's would grow the balls to help escort the Horn to it's demise once they realized how important destroying it was.
"About engaging them..."

Dryden had entered the organization as doctor, not a soldier. His surgeons bag contained a few needles and different scalpels, but no sort of respectable weapon. He would be at a disadvantage when it comes to fighting demons.

"Is there a safe house or weapons cache we can loop around to before engaging the demons?"

Ramsey had his weapons on him, two enchanted daggers one with a fire enchantment that could kill immortals, and the other was a necrotic dagger able to drain ones power, especially demon powers! "I told you before volunteering that we would be fighting more Demons, if you have no weapons that isn't on me doctor..."
Angrim (played by floatch)

Merrick stands up from his kneeling position in front of the Emperor. "My lord, you leave me no choice. I will be accompanying the others in this quest. This is for the greater good of Goldhark. If it costs me my knighthood, so be it." He bows deeply before turning and exiting the throne room. He descends the flights of stairs down to the stables, where he mounts his horse. He had to catch up with the Hunters before it was too late. He prods the horse with his boots and it takes off into a gallop, heading out of the city gates.
Bodrik Sharp (played by RoyaleX318)

Bodrik was great at tracking, stealth, and archery. Those were his three main skills, so he picked up on the other demons right away. "One big four armed one and two smaller ones... One of the smaller ones is the ring leader." Bodrik laid a finger on his bow, "let me know if you need me to plant a banishing arrow in one of their skulls..."
Regardless of lack of armaments, Pygmalion knew the horn had to be kept out of human hands.

"When all you have is a scalpel...""Alright I am ready to move out when you are boss"

Ramsey glanced into his Demon Hunter vision and saw the three simply sitting there and then something else disrupted him. Flashing back he saw a horse with Merrick on it, Merrick was a supporter of the Dark Church much to the Emperors disliking. However Ramsey knew Merrick would come to the Church's (and Goldhark's) aid in this time of need, "hail Merrick, get permission from the Emperor you boot licker?" Ramsey joked to his old friend.
Angrim (played by floatch)

Merrick chuckles as he rides up alongside Ramsey. "Well... Not exactly. I may or may not have lost my knighthood in assisting you, so you'd better be damn grateful I'm here." He glances over at the other two and gives them a quick nod. "When'll we be off?"
"As I said, ready when the captain is."
Demons (played by Thekaleidoscope)

The one in the centre continued watching for a few seconds before spreading the fog around itself a little thicker continuously until it was hidden completely by the fog. Slowly but surely it extended the fog, until it covered the other two demons. For now we should wait. See how they operate before doing anything. We always have our ways of slowing them down.

A voice floated through the mists from the demon that had yet to speak. "I want that lightly armed one. He should be fun to torture."

The one creating the fog sighed. "If you get the chance you can have him. Do not put that above the mission."

The group continued to travel until reaching the small town at the edge of the Mistvale Forest, "This is Rainwood," the group had traveled for the last few days and arrived here. The group as a whole had lost the demonic sense following them but not Ramsey, "The three demonic scouts are still following is however. Let's head to the Tavern and get some food and rest before we ask questions around the town."
"You all go ahead. A former college of mine lives here. He would certainly be sore if I didn't visit him."

The college in question was a young doctor named Laurence Fishbane. He was a doctor as shady as they came, and was exiled from the medical community for the production of cheap opium. Though not a close friend, him and Pygmalion were on talking terms. More than anything else he assumed he would have some sort of weapon or poison available in his house.
