Shadow wanders the forest...She's in her cat form...She is hungry, lost, thirsty, and tired...She hasn't had food, water, or sleep in a couple of days.
(Hi there! I hope we can make a cool story together.)
Suddenly, a barely audible voice sounded from somewhere in the forest
"...serious?! Hey! Anyone out there?! God, how did I..."
The voice was too out of range to hear much else after that.

(Sorry! I can continue this for a while, but not for long. If I'm lucky, I'll be on longer than today, but it's not likely.)
She heard and weakly went towards the voice. She was mewing helplessly...

(That's okay, just ring me up when you're back)
What she saw in an open clearing was a man in a cloak, complete with hood, crouched down in the middle of the clearing. He was nervously standing on a pressure plate with multiple crossbows on every side of him aimed at him.
'A cat?' he thought. 'Now I've seen everything.' "Hey, cat. Got myself into a pretty sticky situation here. Mind lending me a hand?"

She looked at him. She nodded. Her eyes glowed blue and suddenly, the crossbows were gone.
The man frowned. 'I've almost forgotten what it feels like to run into someone normal lately.' he thought before speaking.
"Thanks." the man began dusting himself off, a little shameful that he got caught in this idiotic trap. "You mind telling me what the heck that was? Oh wait, you can't talk, though I wouldn't be surprised if you could..."
The man looked at her, half-hoping that she could talk, but really just waiting for any response at all.

She got into her Neko form. (See profile pic.) And smiled at him. "Yes I can talk."
The man looked surprise, but quickly hid it with a grin and a slight chuckle.
"Well, that's not something you see everyday! Thank you for the save. My name is Klaus."
The man gave an exaggerated bow, putting one hand across his stomach and holding the other one out while he bowed.
"Might I ask what you're doing here, Miss...?"

She looked away. He obviously hadn't noticed her weak appearance yet. Her ribs showed and she looked tired.
'Hm...' he thought to himself. He noticed her lack of an answer and figured something was bothering her.
"When was the last time you slept? Ate? Does anyone know where you are? How old are you?"
He was about to ask another question, but stopped himself when he realized he was being too pushy.
"I'm sorry. Let's take it slow. May I ask your name?"

"M-My name is Shadow..." She said. "I haven't eaten or slept in a couple of days no one knows where I am and...I'm 18." She said. She was sitting down.
"It's nice to meet you, Shadow. My name is Kla-oh wait, I already told you." he chuckled again, trying to get some sort of reaction out of her. "Do you want to head back to my place?" he immediately cupped his hand over his mouth when he realized how that sounded.
'Real smooth, genius' he thought to himself, internally facepalming.
"Uh, I didn't, uh I meant because I've got some food, a-and a place to sleep is all!" he said, frantically waving his arms in order to dismiss any misunderstandings.

'Whew, what a relief.' he thought.
"Great. It's just down this path." Klaus said as he walked towards some bushes and pushed them out of the way, revealing a slightly obscured pathway, before proceeding towards his house.

(This doesn't actually have to turn into anything)
On the way, Klaus tightened the hood on his head and stealthily observed the strange girl that had rescued him. He couldn't stop his eyes from drifting towards her body, but shook his head and looked down at the ground as they walked.
"I'm eighteen too, you know. I've been on my own for five...no six years. What about you? Any family?"

(I want it to though.)
She shook her head. "N-No..." She said.
She shook her head. "N-No..." She said.
He hesitated in his next words. He knew that everyone had family, but maybe denying their existence helped her cope with...some bad memory? Or maybe this girl was some magical angel that was born from the tears of children or something. He forcibly chuckled to himself at his attempt to make this situation a little less unnerving. He decided to take a leap of faith.
"You've gotta have family. No mom? Dad? Siblings?"

"No...I don't..." She said. "I've been on my own for a while...And...I don't even know how to take care of myself out here..."
"I'm sorry...tell you what, you saved my life, how about I save yours? I'll take care of you, show you a few tricks to stay alive, teach you how to take care of yourself, stuff like that? What do you say?"
He was a glutton for helping those in need. He couldn't help it, that's just how he was. Whenever someone needed help, anyone, he'd always be there to do what he could.
