Hey guys, for a little while now I've been thinking about how much I really like RPR, and wanted to give back to the community. I've been here for five or so years now, and it's like a second home to m--WHATS THAT YOU SAY? YOU DIDN'T SIGN UP TO LISTEN TO BONEBAG SPEW HIS GUTS OUT? THEN FEAST YOUR EYES ON THE MINIATURE EXPLOSION I'M ABOUT TO SET OFF ON YOUR EYEBALLS.

I don't have much of anything planned yet, but its probably going to be along the lines of a wacky, gygax style, dice rolling adventure. It is open to the public but there is going to be a participant limit. I'm tossing around 20, although it may shrink down to 12-15 depending on how many folks I have as my helpers/contributors (they supply the swords, and explosions. SWORDSPLOSIONs if you will). It would also be cheesed out TO THE MAX, as you can tell from the thread title.
. There'll be serious moments, but this is a contest meant for fun, and puns are going to be spread far and wide - sorry Kim

In terms of a time frame, the best I can offer is a few months. I need to plan it out, and I want it to be really good. There WILL be prizes - I was thinking of the old stands of varying levels of epicness as well as a few secret prizes. It'll be pretty good in terms of payout, and there will be 3-5 winners, depending on how many people participate.
How would everyone feel about possibly getting this going? I'm super open to ideas, so thrown down any random ideas you think might be fun to see or play out.

To make it more clear (I don't explain things well when I'm hyped up about something), this thread is to gauge community interest, not to sign up. Sorry for any confusion. When I have something more concrete than 'ROLL THE DICE AND DO THE THINGS!,' there will be an actual sign up thread/sheet/etc.

My advice is to aim for March or mid-May -- in April you'll collide with Epic week, which is highly distracting.

Rolling dice and doing things are two of my favorite hobbies! I would be interested in this adventure, in so many ways. Not just for the prizes, but for the tales!
i'm so thrilled to see all the positive responses so far! this is something i've hoped for ever since last year's epic week, where we all fought the goblin hordes together, but i could never have arranged it by myself. if you're ever in need of some assistance, i'll be around!

Sounds a little like Improbable Island monsters. Check it out if you're looking for villains, they have everything from hipster flying pigs to tears in the fourth wall. Personally the killer lawn gnomes are one of my favorites.
