Chell groan as she woke up from a uncomfortable bed. how... How long was I out.... What day is it? she thought as she looked outside of her broken window. Dusty clouds and sky was the same color as the clouds but darker.. It smelled toxic and rotting flesh. The building where rotting and the windows broken, some boarded up. This was one confusing thing. Chell was starting to get nervous, what's going on?

The woods were almost too quiet. There was no birdsong, no rustling of leaves, no sign of life for miles around. There was only the creaking of trees and the wind whistling high above in their bare branches. The wind picked up. It was slow, gradual; seeming to emanate from a small pocket of forest air that grew hotter and brighter by the second. There was a horrible noise as the light reached its climax, a loud, low hum that seemed to rattle the surrounding area for miles. Suddenly, everything stopped. In the middle of the blackened trees lay a human. She rolled onto her side, her pained words unheard due to a thick helmet covering her face. She promptly flipped the visor up, momentarily not caring about her surroundings, and vomited.

She was puzzled. Travel via her manipulation device -- even to other universes -- was not usually this bad. She lay on her back for a while, watching the sky through the gaps in the tree cover, head spinning. Eventually sleep took her.

When she woke, it was significantly darker. Her limbs ached, like she'd been pulled apart and pieced roughly back together again. She struggled to stand, leaning against a nearby tree for support. Everything hurt. She glanced down at her right wrist, which had a flexible screen embedded in the suit. All the data was off. She had intended to go to Alkimo. But this looked nothing like the sands and stone flats of the backwater mining planet. She staggered forward, finding a broken branch on the forest floor after some time. Bless that broken branch. She knelt and picked it up, leaning heavily on the primitive cane.

Chell slowly looked around the room. The walls look clean and white but the light gave it a dusty aura around the room, Pills and class splattered all across the room, their was a single wooden door with one window shaped as a rectangle. she walked over to the door and turn the handle,locked. As her green eyes scan over the area, looking up and high of it nothing seem to be anything useful to her. "Hmmm... What did bro day when I get locked in a room...?" She said out loud as her voice was very low key as she speak whisper volume. "Oh yea!" Her voice turn into a high pitch. She punched the window making a loud crash in the long hallway as she moved her arm to the door and unlock, she was able to open the door.

Genevieve walked for as long as she could bear to, feeling her limbs gradually regain feeling. Something felt odd -- and not just the fact that she had somehow landed on a completely unknown planet. Possibly an unknown universe. And she was completely cut off, no data, no coordinates, no nothing. She stopped, taking a deep breath of the cool air. And another, and another. It held a faint sour smell, dark and putrid, the smell of decay. Genevieve knew that smell. She had fought in the violent wars on Kielen, and it had haunted her since. It was the smell of death.

She felt a prickle of unease ripple up and down her spine. Suddenly every noise in the forest was a threat, her senses acute, poised to run or fight to survive. She moved quicker. There had to be life here. She pulled the visor back down over her face, holding the stick less like a cane and more like a staff, spinning every few seconds to scan for danger.

Check cough of the radiation in the air that she was not aware of, This wasn't really heathy air.the new teen walked down the steps on the hospital looking at her surroundings the heart of herd pounded hard against her chest. She felt like she wasn't alone, but she was. She knew something was wrong but didn't know what. It was a long hallways with many lights that flicker off and on. Some doors had broken doors and glass, only a little blood was stain. However, as she kept progressing the site just got scarier as she start to run down the hallway. Chell needed to get out of here and fast.

Step by step, the crunch of the gravel underfoot, the clanking of pans in his pack, the trees rustling, none else could be heard. Alex walked along, his knife on the backside of his belt, that and his skill in jiu-jitzu was all he carried as a weapon. He wore pants with a multicam pattern, and a simple withe short sleeved tee shirt. He walked and walked, aimlessly wandering the land for miles and miles seeing no other life.

Chell got out of the hospital,she was all alone with nothing on her but clothes. She runs out of the city, not wanted to be bitten.

Hus boots hit the ground as he continued moving towards where he thought was the city. Alex saw nothing of bote as he went on and on.

Luckily Chell was able to escape the city to be in a grass filled landscape, she was away from the city.

Alex continued until he hit a highway. He walked down in watching out for anyone or anything to call an ally. He began to doubt there being anyone else as he went, he saw nothing for miles.

The forest cleared at long last, the tree cover thinning and dissipating into a wide, grassy clearing. Genevieve stopped, wallowing in the silence. There was only the sound her breath and a breeze through the tall grass. She jammed her stick into the ground, leaning on it and scouting out her surroundings. To the west, she noticed a fleck of silver glistening above the trees. Perhaps it was a piece of skyline -- a city. It looked like it was too far a distance for her to cover in one day. Besides, she had no idea which planet this was or how long their days were.

She caught a flash of movement out of the corner of her eye. Bright yellow-blond hair bobbed a ways across from her in the field. Genevieve quickly wrenched the stick from the ground and ducked in the tall grass, hopefully obscuring herself from view.

"Oh god..." She mumbled as she look around, Chell had no idea what to do. She thought she was all alone in the apocalpse world. She felt alone and helpless as she walked into the dead grass "I-I alone am I.." She sighed as she just thing of giving up.

Alex made his way until he found a small shop outside the city. He went in and sat down. Inside there was little food, none good. No weapons either. Alex sat down and had a drink of his water to rest. He was headed into the city.

Chell decided to keep walking forward, she wanted to give up. But, at the same time she didn't want to. She looked back at the city and shook her head, she needed to start something small.
