Irving heads down the stairwell to the engine access after the gravity returns. He slides the door open and steps in, first marveling at the engine core and then moving to inspect the banks of controls.

Genevieve looked up at one of the screens. Someone had entered the engine access hall. She leaned forward and pushed down the comm button. "You all right, after the gravity blip and all? The engine room's not a nice place to fall in."

Irving sits down in a chair and presses down his comm button. "Yeah, s'alright. I got here a bit late, do you know what our first destination is?"

"Not off the top of my head. Sorry." She stood up, pacing around the small control room. "I'll ask Aniele. And... I'm Genevieve, by the way. Mechanic. Pleased to meet you."

"You too." Irvin closes the comm link and idly spins about in his chair, waiting for orders, or for anything to happen.

I slept soundly through everything that just happened, and I just now get up, stretching. "Man, I needed that. I hope I didn't miss anything exiting." I chuckle and grab my bag of weapons and my datapad, and I use it to guide me to the armory, which is almost bare. A few pistols, two rifles. "Time to change that." I open my bag, and I start pulling out guns of various shapes and sizes. "I think I'm gonna have fun at this job." I chuckle and finish putting the guns onto the shelves and racks, then I set up all the ammo. I stand back, and look at it all. "Now we've got enough firepower to outfit a small army." I laugh, and make sure that my sabers are charged before going to the security office, sitting down in the office chair and spinning.

"Fine over here." Jack replied to her as he walked towards a lab, rubbing his head for he hit it when the gravity was gone, never got used to that no matter how many times he used the Station 3 anti-gravity room. Not really a good thing considering that his group constantly needed it when repairing objects.
After muttering incoherently, Jack went into his area, happy at the sight. "Oh my god." He said under his breath before talking into the comm. "This is even better than the one we have at home."

(Sorry for being late, I was studying for our exams.)

"Good, good... Sorry about that, heh..." Chidori replied through the comm, flipping through the Odyssey, feeling its pages.

She left the room after one last check of the holographic engine diagram and hoisted herself up the ladder and into one of the hallways. Genevieve walked briskly, carrying her datapad in one arm. She decided to explore the ship a bit, since she hadn't had the time to earlier. She went past her room and the other crew quarters, admiring the architecture and smooth design.

Aniele makes contact with some of the old crew, and asks them to help her run a drill.

Thirty minutes later, a ship hails the Jokalo, and Chidori receives a notification on her datapad.

"Hm? Here we go." She checked the notification, looking curious as she closed her book.

The notification informs Chidori that the ship is being hailed, and to come to the bridge and initiate conversation.

Chidori sighed, then walked to the bridge, carrying the Odyssey in her hands. She smiled as she observed the architecture around her, taking in every little feature.

Aniele is sitting in the Captain's chair, calmly observing the surrounding space.

"Chidori, would you mind talking to whoever just pinged us? I'm a little busy here."

"Yeah, hold on." Chidori nodded then would do the communication thing and contact the ship through her "amazing" skills. "Hello, this is the Communications Director of the Jokalo speaking, how may I help you?"

"Dessme Alraj Freejornick! Vusid ndhhrr!" The other ship says in reply, in some unknown language.

Aniele sarcastically mutters "Bless you." behind Chidori.

"Uh... Um, Joker, can you translate what they're saying? Because I have no idea what they're saying and I do not want to accidentally screw up... Again."

"I shall try." Joker says, appearing next to Chidori. "It appears they said 'surrender your cargo! Glory Ndhhrr!'. How troubling, especially given our lack of cargo as of this moment."

"Hm... Well, um, tell them that we have little to none cargo as of now, besides, you forgot to say please." Chidori said slowly and thoughtfully, looking at Joker. "Also say we would give them a relatively fair share, however, we don't have anything."

"Very well. Transmitting verbatim."

Joker blinks over to the communications center.

"Je Isxo lausv va fstb Freejornick he ka mov. Plwste, sie beyyrs va nau latrfv. Ha Ishbs bsut sie p hdir ndhte, auutryj, ha fol'a ahngfgfn."

There is a second while the other ship formulates a response.

"Yhar! Ha husr bsie pri peke! Yhar!"

Joker blinks back to Chidori.

"They have said, 'Lies! We know what you have! Lies!'. What should I send in response?"
