((The ship is in transit. Please use this time, free of scripted events, to mingle and make friends with one another.))
(Oh, ok)
((Due to lack of activity, I will be creating a mid-space event for activity boosting sake. This activity shall be chosen based solely on the result of the following die roll.))
rolled 3d4 and got 9
Joker appears in front of every crew member, projected onto the nearest surface.
"Attention: We are passing through a nebula. Please be alert and ready to repair any systems that are in need of repair, and keep an eye out for anything interesting. After all, my scanners do not work, due to the lovely gasses inside."
If anyone elects to look outside at this moment, they can see the ship enter a large, colorful cloud, and then essentially nothing as the cloud blocks vision outside of the window.

I'm just sitting in my chair, in front of a wall of screens, each displaying the view from a different security camera. None in any of the rooms, of course. "I was really hoping this would be more exciting." I start spinning in my chair.
Jack scuttles to the nearest window, almost tripping over himself to try to get to it. "I wonder if I can get a sample of that cloud..." He breathed in before sighing, walking around the ship to see if there was anything wrong going on.
Chidori would be groaning to herself slightly, looking through her drawers for a band-aid of some sort, then accidently slammed a drawer on her finger. "Crap! Ow!" She would then sigh amd stumble backwards onto her bed, well, meant to stumble backwards onto her bed, but ended up tripping over her feet and hitting her head on the edge of the bed. "Ow!"

Joker follows Jack, projecting along the wall and onto the window.
"You could use your spacesuit and collect some. I cannot guarantee your complete safety as you do so, but if you really want to, I'm sure it'll be something useful to research."
Joker transforms into what appears to be binary.
"For example, the last crew had a researcher that turned some nebula dust into a neat upgrade for the shielding. Called it a spectral mask. Although I'm sure you could do so much more with it."
Jack looks at Joker before nodding. "Where do you think I can exit? Which one has the most chance of surviving?
Joker appears to laugh.
"You will be safe, exiting the ship, through any of the airlocks."

"Good gracious, at least I won't die too early. " he said with a received smile before a wide smile stretched across his face. "Thank you Joker." He said before running off to elsewhere.
"You are quite welcome."
((Activity check! I require either security personnel! If neither posts within 24 hours, an event will occur!))

I get up out of my chair, and walk to the newly equipped armory. "I hope my sabers are charged." I check the battery, and they are. I put them on my belt, and walk back to the security station. "With these at my belt, the ship is safe from attack. From the inside, anyway."
Sarrien receives a small alert about a intriguing system malfunction in the airlock, and is advised to have his spacesuit handy.
Chidori would then groan and stand up, brushing herself off before walking out of her room with a book, towards the gardening area, still in her night gown and looking rather disoriented.
I sigh when I get the alert. "Man, I really wanted to go back to spinning in my chair. Oh well." I shrug and walk out of the security station. "Looks like I'll need to go get my armor." I run to the hangar bay and onto my ship. I then put on my armor, and put my lightsabers on my belt. "I love this armor." I use my datapad to find the airlock, and run to it.
It appears that there is something in the airlock, which is cycling to allow the thing access to the interior of the ship.
Bre-Kin-Loe is in the garden, sitting on a small bench and looking out over it.

Garrett (changed name from Irvin) sits at the sprawling, industrial control panel in the bowels of the ship, with his feet kicked up on the wall, humming to himself. He looks down and notices the airlock is cycling. He drops his feet down and grabs the radio. "Hey, we've got the airlock cycling something-Something's in it. Is someone going to check it out?"
"Sarrien is on it, although he might need backup. I recommend having your spacesuit handy, if my scans are correct."
