"Nice to meet you." he smiled back at her, accepting her hand and giving it a firm shake before letting go.
"Does the ship have fries?"
"Does the ship have fries?"
"Well, um, seeing as how they have baked potatoes I'd guess they'd have fries... I got my potato from over there." Chidori then gestured to the food fabricator. "It makes food and what not, it's quite good actually."
"Then maybe I'll try to have it make Arozkaldo..." he muttered with a smile before thanking the girl by patting her on the head.
She slightly blushed before her eyes brightened with curiousity. "Wait, what's Arso... Wait, no, Aros... No no... Er... Arzokolda... No, Chidori... It's... It's... Arozkaldo! That's it, yeah, what's Arozkaldo?"
(OOC: I got the spelling wrong. lol, this is what happens when you base off the actual word. Pretend I wrote Arozz Caldo.)
((OOC: Ah, okie! )) "Or wait... Did you say Arozz Caldo? Oh, I don't know anymore! I really regret staying up the last few nights now..."
"It's rice porridge, my friend Rosario told me how to make it since it was something that had descended from her lineage which came from the country Philippines before it was destroyed." he explained with a smile before walking over to the machine, figuring out how it worked. He usually didn't use these types of things since he was more of a home-cooked kind of guy, he quickly inputted all of the ingredients.
"Ah... That's cool..." Chidori nodded then continued to eat her potato, which was nearly finished by the way. She smiled wider with each bite till it was all gone, she then looked around for the place where you took care of the dishes.
After it was done, Jack went to the table with a bowl of Arozz Caldo in hand. The dish did look like rice porridge, yet it had eggs, chicken, garlic, ginger, leek, and pepper in it.
'Huh cool." Chidori simply smiled then sat there, waiting for the meeting to begin.
"Thank you," Genevieve said, impressed. She took the suit, bowed her head slightly to the holographic man, picked up her bag, and wandered off to look for her quarters. She found them, eventually, after many wrong turns and consultings of the map on her datapad. She pressed her hand to the wall and entered.
It was completely empty. She had been in rooms like this before, though. She took out the datapad again and sat cross-legged in the doorframe, throwing together a basic room in the necessary application. It was nothing fancy -- shelves, a bed, a desk, a closet, and room to walk and store things. After five or so minutes of arranging, Genevieve was satisfied.
Her datapad pinged, and she pulled up a map and started towards the cafeteria. She sauntered in, looking around at the crew that was already there.

Chidori then saw Genevieve and her features immediately brightened. "Oh hi! I'm Chidori Akiko Madoka, the Communcications Director! Nice to meet ya!" She hopped out of her seat and then ran over to said woman, her hand held out.
She turned around and smiled at Chidori. "Good to meet you, too. Genevieve Smith, head mechanic." She shook her hand. "First time on a ship like this. It's incredible, hm?"
"Yeah definitely! Really big, high tech too. The best ships I've ever been on are the Traveler ships, and even then, those were junk compared to this..." Chidori smiled, her eyes wandering about the room. "Say, I know we have one more crew member coming, where is he?"
Genevieve shrugged. "I have no idea. I haven't really had the chance to talk to anyone yet," she admitted. "I do believe I saw him when I first came. He's got actual armor!" She paused, glancing around the cafeteria. It was minimalistic, but adequate. She saw another crew member she hadn't seen yet, and waved to him. "Anyway, do you know when the meeting starts, by any chance?"
"Nope, I'm guessing its when the captain and the final crew member get here." Chi smiled happily, glancing at Jack with a wider smile "Hm... So why'd you join this expedition?"
Tica hobbles in, making his way toward Aniele, whom he engages in quiet conversation.
((OOC)) Don't worry about not being around for human necessities. It takes all of us.

(( OOC: Mhm hm hm. ))
"Hm... I'm going to go talk to Jack, be right back." Chidori then got up and walked over to said male. She then poked him in the shoulder and smiled.

Genevieve sighed. "Well, it's a bit of a long story. I grew up on Pradus -- little desert planet, home to a research base. I bounced around for a while, planet to planet, job to job, fixing up ships when asked. I saw the call for this and here I am." She didn't want to elaborate too much; she barely knew her. She nodded in farewell as they parted and went off towards one of the food fabricators.
Aniele and Tica continue their conversation, and then both fall to watching their datapad, Aniele tapping on hers occasionally.
