"Huh... I think the meeting's gonna start soon..." Chidori simply sat back down at the table she had been sitting at earlier, pulled out the Odyssey and began to read it for the nth time, waiting for the meeting to begin or for someone to interact with her.

After just standing there for a few minutes without anything happening, I shrug and walk to the hangar to put my bags on my ship. After I've accomplished that I walk back to the mess hall, so I won't get yelled at to go back once the meeting actually starts.

Aniele appears to notice that everyone has finally gathered, and leaps up.

"Crew! Attention!"

Aniele appears to be waiting for something.

Joker's hologram pings off to in front of Aniele, and stands at attention about ten feet away from her.

Chidori then stood up and saluted, a big and goofy smile on her face. "Yes m'am!"

Tica slowly hobbles over, leaning heavily on his cane once he is standing beside Joker.

"Quite giddy, aren't you?" Jack commented as he placed a hand on Chidori's shoulder, smiling as he finished the last grain of rice from his Arroz caldo, all of his attention now directed at Aniele.

All Chidori would do was nod, her hand still up in a salute. "Well, that and you gotta be up and lively for the job you know? Being the Communications Director means you gotta be as cheerful and friendly as possible, well, not when things get serious and lives are threatened that is."

She quickly ran back to the table that her crewmates were sitting at and placed her plate on the table with a quiet clatter. She had chosen a slice of bread and some cheese -- she wasn't all that hungry. She didn't sit. Instead she clasped her hands behind her back and looked at Aniele, waiting.

Aniele's datapad chirps with another application, and she jumps in surprise.

"Company dismissed! Be prepared to meet later to discuss ground rules, pay, and duties."

Aniele then sprints to the airlock.

"Alrighty miss!" Chidori smiled, easing her hand back down and sat back in her chair. "Hm... So, Jack, why'd you choose this job?"

"Forced you to?" Genevieve asked, pulling a chair up to the table and taking a seat. She bit into her slice of bread. "Some group."

"My group forced me to." Jack said with a blank face as spinned his spoon around his bowl.

"Ah, I see, well, luckily they did, or else I wouldn't have an awesome crew to hang out with, now would I?" Chidori smiled wider before putting the Odyssey back in her bag, realizing she had neglected to return it to its home before Aniele caught their attention.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be in my ship." I walk out of the mess hall, and to the hangar, into my ship. I go into the small bedroom on board, and I lay down to take a nap. "Hopefully I'm not needed for the next few hours."

Aniele patiently awaits the applicant, contacting members of the previous crew and station authorities to assist her in running a mock drill.

"They think I should expand my horizons from somewhere outside the lab, besides, I haven't given them a vacation for three years straight, so I really think they need it right now. One of my group members needs to go back to his family too, anyway." Jack shrugged with a small smile.

"Ah, I see... Well, I left my hometown for prospects of adventure and friendship! Basically cheesy life goals, but you know, they work, right?" Chidori giggled as she buttoned the latch on her pack, a light gracing her chocolate brown irises.

Irvin strolls through the docking bay, occasionally glancing down at a scrap of paper with the name of the ship he was looking for hastily scribbled on it. He eventually spots it and jogs over to the airlock. He pokes his head in and knocks on the door jamb. "Hello? Am I late?" he calls into the ship interior before he starts walking in.

Aniele waves at Irvin.

"Hello, friend. Late to the party, I see. Well, we'd better get you sized. I assume you know how hidden scanners work?"

Aniele points to a spot on the wall.

"That is your spot." Get scanned in.
