The bells jingled with sweet tunes as the door opened and exposed the sight of more clocks then anyone could imagine.
The walls, ceiling and all tables and shelves where filled with clocks in all shapes and sizes. Some of them didn't even look like clocks. All through the shop where a quiet sound, tick-tock-tick-tock. Small bells rang at different times as well as no clock was set at the exact same time. Hid behind the clocks where a small counter with an hourglass, a giant book in brown leather and a black bag. And upon the bag lay a small mouse in a grayish brown color, squeaking as she noticed someone had appeared through the door.
It squeaked like a bird almost and the sound got annoying quite quickly.
But before it became too much, footsteps and the sound of things getting knocked over came from a door behind the counter.
"Petunia, what have I said about- WoaH!" a great bang was heard and it sounded like the whole place fell together. Things rolling over the floor and groaning came from underneath a pile of garbage. "Exuse me, but do you mind giving me a hand?" Riven said as she had noticed the visitor standing confused by the counter.

(This sounds like a VERY interesting rp, I'd like to join but I must ask: if I do, would I be the visitor that just entered what I can assume is a ki d if shop?)

(the visitor can be anyone, your character or someone else as long as your character interacts with mine at some point in your reply ^w^)
(Sweet, this sounds like it'll be a very fine story indeed)
He looked around the shop, amazed by all the clocks in view. The loud bang brought up a bit of amazement, as well, as he wasn't sure such a store could handle a sound varying from the insecent ticking. When the question came into earshot, Revil's confused look faded and he went to help up the fallen woman.
"What happened?" He looks down on her as he helps her up, an inquisitive look staring down. "You alright? Looks like you took quite the fall."

One hand managed to force it's way through the pile of stuff over her and grabbed the visitor's wrist. "Thank you, sir" she said and wiggled out and stood up on shaky legs and took a step back not to fall again. She started brushing off her shoulders, arms and legs and sighed heavily as she looked at all the things laying scattered across the floor.
"I'll have to clean that up.." she said and looked up at the visitor, smiling widely as she threw her long braid over her shoulder and rested her arms on her hips. "Please exuse my clumsiness, what brings you here today?" she asked, not minding the little mouse crawling up her foot and resting her her hand.

His eyes slide downward for a moment as he stands there thinking. They dart back up to meet your gaze as it comes back to mind.
"Ah! Right! I heard there was a clocksmith in town, needed to get a watch of mine fixed. I can assume it's you?"
His head turns, not having seen the mouse yet, to look at the clocks around him.
"They're all very nice, a simple pocket watch should be no problem."
Out of his pocket he presents a small, ornate, golden pocket watch attached a a long chain or the same color.

Riven leaned over until her head was on the same level as the pocket watch, following it wherever the man moved it for a moment while she stroke a weird face. She then grabbed it quickly and walked over to the counter, grabbing a black back on the way and dumping it on the counter with a bag. "You came to the right place, mister- .. uhh, what's your name?" she asked, holding a small magnifying glass in one hand and the watch in the other one. She looked up at the man and smiled, her hair was quite messy at this point but she didn't bother to try and fix it. The little mouse on her arm crawled down on the counter and sat down beside the black bag, starting to clean herself.
"Revil." He started walking towards yous, his eye darting towards the mouse for a second then back at you. "Revil Hauven." He looked down at the watch in your hand, looking on as you examined it. "You know what the problem is with it? It froze up and nothing I do will make it start up again."
"Ah, Mr. Hauven. I'm Riven Helstorm" she said as reply to him introducing himself and looked back down at the watch, using her thumb to flip the backside open and look at the way it was built up. She made a humming sound as she looked around it, poked on the wheels and knocked on the glass a few times and shaking it to her ear. She then put on some thin glasses and brought a light up to the watch as she took a closer look. "It's a very nice watch you have. Must have been expensive or important as it's made of such fine and heavy gold, all through and even used in the gears here. Look" Riven said and lifted it up to Revil and pointed with a small toothpick-like tool. She brought it back down and pulled out a box with tiny gears in all shapes and colors. "I'm afraid I don't have any golden gears in store at the moment and it would take me at least four days to bring them inn from the nearest smith. I do have silver and copper ones, it seems that the main gear moving the hands have lost a few of those bumps. With the look on you I'm guessing you travel and it might have gotten a hit if you fell or bumped into something" she said and took off her glasses, looking up at Revil with a slight smile.
He looked over the watch as you show him, almost surprised by the fact it has golden gears as well. "Well, I wouldn't want to depreciate the value, so looks like I'll have to wait the 4 days. As for the damage, your guess is as good as mine. Keen eye you got there, though. I do indeed travel." He shuffled a hand inside his other pocket. When he brought it back out he started poking through a collection of coins, counting them up. "How much will it cost to fix it, though?"
Riven put the watch down and brought up a small notebook and a pencil, starting to flip through the pages with smudged and messy writing and drawings on. She stopped on a page where it said Golden Gears in capital letters and different number. "Hmm... small gear.. ragged wheel.. Ah, here we go. It'll be around 75 coins for each golden gear and this watch needs at least two of them" she said and looked at the coins you had on you, noticing it wasn't the amount enough for more then one gear. She sighed and put away the book and turned off the lamp on the counter.
"The golden gears are very expensive for me to bring in" she said and let one finger stroke the mouse gentle as she thought to herself for a moment. I really want to help him but I don't know what I can do, she thought before an idea fell into her head. "But, if you're willing to do my a small favor.. I'll give you one gear for free" she said and smirked, crossing her hands over her chest.

"Not... sure I like the sound of that, to be honest. A stop to the bank and a few... odd jobs here or there and I'd probabky come up with the money." He turns away for a second, thinking hard, his hand up on his chin. He started muttering to himself. "Then again, with a free gear I could get a greater profit out of the whole thing." He turns back to Riven with a smile on his face. "Sure, let me hear the offer."
Riven smiled as she watched him think and chuckled slightly as he agreed to help her. "In the storing shed in the garden, I have twelve copper blocks that I'm gonna use to a new clock. What I need you to do is to move them from my shed and into my workspace which is the room behind us. They are all very heavy but very fragile as they are Highland Copper plates" she explained and stood up, placing her hands on her lower back and pressing her chest forward so her spine made a crackling sound. "I have a sore back and was told not to fix anything, but I have to start on the clock as soon as possible. If you move them all before sunrise tomorrow, I'll get the smith to fly the golden gears in with his raven" she said and put on a jacket, looking at Revil with a smirk.
"Highland copper? The hell did you get that?" He starts to walk back towards the door, looking up into the sky to check the position of the sun. "Sunrise tomorrow. If it's a single clock I can't imagine there'd be all that many. Alright, why the not? A free golden gear for moving a couple copper plates, it'll be done by midnight." He steps back into the shop, turning to you, his hands clasped together. "Where's the shed?"
Riven smirked, she knew that he thought it would be easy. She started walking towards the garden and stopping in front of a big lake and sighed, nodding her head towards it. "In the middle of this lake, there is a small wooden shed that holds the copper plates" she said and looked over at Revil. "There's a small boat, it doesn't take much weight but it can handle two plates in one go plus yourself" she said and pointed at a old boat laying by the lakeside.
"And exactly how many are down there?" Revil started pacing around, surveying his surroundings. He seemed to be looking for something, something specific. He started taking off some excess clothing, getting ready to head into the lake. "I can't expect there to be too many." He seems completely unfazed by the new challenge that has been brought up.
Riven raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her chest as she watched Revil go about his business, with whatever he was doing. "There's twelve plates. You have two days before the package will be here, you don't need to do it in one night" she said and started to wonder where she would let him sleep. She didn't know if she had any beds or chairs available. 'I might have to let him sleep in my bed and stay up to start on the watch with the plates he brings over' she thought to herself and sighed with a slight smile.
"Oh, but you don't have to doubt me." he says with a smile, walking over to a line of trees not too far off. "I've dealt with worse than this before." He pulls out a large knife that was nestled inside the back of his belt and starts to hack away at something. After a few minutes he pulls out multiple rods of bamboo and drags them back over to the lake. "So where's the boat? And you wouldn't happen to have some spare rope, would you?"
Riven started to get rather confused as she had no idea whatsoever on what this guy was planning on doing. "I've got some rope inside, yes" she said and went to grab it. She handed it over and sighed, a confused look on her face as she watched him. "Tell me, what on earth are you planning on doing with a rope, bamboo, tree branches and a almost broken boat?" she asked, chuckling at the idea of this turning into some kind of invention. She didn't really know what could come out of it, she was more used to mixing gears and wheels to items you wouldn't think could fit as a clock. But this was something totally different and out of her knowledge zone.
He grabs the rope with a "thanks." and addresses your question. "Oh, nothing big. If the boat's too busted to carry more than a couple copper plates then I figured I might as well modify the boat. You know what's inside bamboo? He holds up one of the stalks, cutting a bit off and showing you. "Nothing. Huge air pockets. Tie enough of these babies to the boat and you got yourself some makeshift floaters. As for the tree branches: nothing. Didn't even mean to grab them." He starts tying the bamboo to the boat, cutting a small piece off for himself.
