Simplis told me about this website so I decided to check it out. I'm really mega intimidated by writers usually, but I'm hoping to get over that. I'm sure you guys are just as nice as you seem, haha ^^
So I'm veiledprophet, or Lucky, or Alexis, or whatever the heck you want to call me I guess. I'm 17 and I'm from Canada, and actually... I'm saying this here before I even put it on my profile. I didn't want to at first for the sake of being a mysterious lurker, but I'll do it. I'm hoping to make a few friends, or at the least, a few RP buddies

Hi there! Welcome to RPR! I hope you aren't too scared of writers, because each and every single one of them here is too kinda to be scary! Really though, from my experience, this community is probably one of the most friendliest communities you will see!
A good place that you can start at, after making a roleplay character, is heading to the Looking for RP forum! As the title suggests, you can look for roleplayss here with other roleplayers when you feel up for it!
Since you are an artist, a good place to check out could be the Art & Creativity forum! There, you can share your art, or you could even let people commission you to draw for them by putting up a picture here!
If you feel as if you need a little extra boost or a bit of help when it comes to writing a response to a roleplay, this is a good and somewhat short help page to look at to give you a better idea!

Like Rosie said, we have a very friendly community, with people of all skill levels as far as writing goes. No need to be intimidated at all.
For your bucket list, I'd definitely add participating in this year's Epic Week celebration. We celebrate the site's birthday in/around April every year, with various contests (with contests where everyone can participate regardless of skills) and usually a big super awesome event. It's very much worth sticking around for.

I looked into it just now; after seeing all that Garnet, I feel like drawing her myself!

Yes, I've noticed! Don't worry, I'm not scared of anyone here. You're all really nice! My characters differ a lot, so I don't really have a particular genre that I like. I'm not always too into fantasy stuff though, but it depends on what it's all about. And, since you asked, I really like chicken wings haha. Especially hot wings, but Shepherd's pie comes in a close second.
