Eugene had walked all the way as well. A few smokes and the rest of his bottle had helped. The rain wanted to put his smokes's light out, but he covered it with his hands, puffing the bitter smelling smoke into the night. Eugene's dirtied clothes became muddy again, sticking to his thin frame. He looked like those poor buggers still in the ground, but that didn't bother the man.
Minnow tested the width of the bars, but got stuck halfway through. "What the--" She struggled to get out the way she came in, but somehow either way she moved she was still stuck. Hopefully someone could push her through. From the angle she was in she didn't think she could move much more effectively.
Jocelyn jumped as the wind creaked the manor, and her lip seemed to tremble some as she heard footsteps. She started to panic again, looking for a shadow under the crack. Then realization hit her, technically she had just broke into this house. What if someone did live here? and then she'd be arrested for breaking and entering. You should have never left your house this morning, she scolded herself inwardly.
She stood where she was and let out a small, "Hello?" she called out towards the door, hoping and praying that she didn't just walk into some serial killers house. She grimaced at the thought, this was too much like a horror film for her.

The creaking continued, down the hall. But there was no shadow under the door. The footsteps faded out of earshot of her, down the hall?
@ Eugene
The path before him got a little craggy, and it seemed that someone else was already at teh gate. but there was another path that lead around the gate, and to the back of the grounds. Would be good if he wanted to avoid people.
@ Minnow
The rain got harder, and after a few soaked minutes the gate seemed to let ehr go, she falling into the mud. The door still swayed open however, it threatened to close at any second.

Relena just looked at the woman, and gave a grin. "No real reason, just curious to take some pictures of the place," she said, holding up a camera. "At a distance, of course! Thank you!" She would scurry out the door, grinning to herself. At a distance, she nearly laughed at the thought. Oh no, she was going to go straight in there, and find what she was looking for.... whatever that may be. She pulled her bag closer to her, all her electronics inside. She was prepared for everything.
She looked up at the sky, the smell of rain on the air. She gave a little frown, before rummaging through her bag. She pulled out her umbrella, opening it over her head, just as the raindrops began to fall. Yes, she was indeed prepared for everything.
And so she continued, making her way in the direction the woman had told her the Hall was in.
She seemed to have gotten lost on the way though. Darn it for not writing down the directions. She was wandering about for quite a while, trying to find the mansion. She saw a girl walking quite a ways ahead of her, and decided to follow, hoping that maybe they would lead in her the right direction.
She would let out a sigh, and then perk up, when she saw the top of the mansion grow close. "Yes!" she called out, excitedly. But then she saw someone stuck in the gates. She paused for a moment...
"Erm... do you need help?" But the girl seemed to slip from the gate. She let out a relieved sigh. She almost wasn't sure how she was going to get the girl out. She looked to the gates, seeing them open, but swaying to close. "Oh, hurry! Hold it open!" she said, dashing at them.

Jocelyn's eyes widened, and she gulped again. She walked to the door of the study, and slowly turned the handle to peek out into the hall.

There was no one in the hall. But it looked like someone holding a light just went down the hall and turned teh corner, teh light fading out of sight.

Jocelyn furrowed her brows together, like hell she would follow that. She was getting out of her, storm or no storm. She shut the door quickly, and walked back towards the window.
@ Jocelyn
The room was quiet and the window wouldn't budge. For a split second, everything went black. Then when she could see again, there was no window.

Eugene walked until he saw two younger females trying to make it through the front gate. That wasn't his goal. Going out the front was better. Taking the cigarette out of his mouth and letting it fall between his fingers and land in the mud, Eugene opened his mouth and let the smoke blow out.
It's time to have a look around the place.
Eugene sneered at the two females trying to get into the building.
"Shouldn't ya be in school, kids?"
What were they doing at a place like this?

Jocelyn blinked, "No, no, no, nononono." she said frantically, touching the wall where the window was. What on earth was going on in this house? Jocelyn took a step back, staring at where the window had been. She was baffled, there was no explanation for it. On top of her confusion her fear was growing more now, and she hoped she wasn't trapped in this creepy place.
She walked back towards the door, grabbing a candle stick holder on her way. If anything was going to jump out at her she was going to be prepared. She slowly reached for the door handle, ready to wallop anything she came running into.

The door opened easy, and she was back out in the hallway. Not that she looked, there was only one way to go, towards where the light used to be. Behind her was nothing but a wall... was it always like that?

She rolled her eyes, "Shouldn't you be jail?" he did look like he belonged there. Her eyes widened. "I didn't say that." That wasn't her, was it? She tried to move to the in side of the gate and managed a small successful inch in that direction.
Eugene took his shovel off of his shoulder and pointed the sharpened metal shovel head at the girl,
"Listen punk, I don't need your shim right now."
Eugene curves his lips into a violent sneer,
"Go and get lost, kid."
Setting his shovel back over his shoulder, he left the front gate and walked around the side. There wasn't any time to be spent arguing with snot nosed kids.
It was time to see if there was a back entrance.

The wall wrapped around the house for a long ways. But around on the south side there was a vine covered wall. It was easy enough to climb, but the thorns may sting a bit.

"Well excuse me." She covered her mouth and shook her head. Where'd that come from? She never spoke like that. Ever. Finally, after squeezing through she looked up at the house then ran in, remembering that it was raining.
Jocelyn crept down the hallway, holding the candle stick like a bat. She whimpered softly as she continued to make her way down the hall, coming to the corner. She took a deep breath and then jumped out, holding the candle stick in front of her and quivering behind it with her eyes squeezed shut.
She slowly peeked open an eye, looking at the candle stick shaking in her hands. Her whole body was shaking, and she grimaced slightly. "I'm such a wimp." she frowned.

With the other girl left outside, the door slammed. Minnow found herself in a large fourey of a room. A staircase led up to two doors, and there were four more doors on ground level were she was now. THe carpet was a dark red, with redish brown wooden walls. Light was minimal.

There was nothing there, but more hallway that took another turn to the left after a few yards. There was three doors in this hallway, the first two locked. The third was unlocked, and had a brass plate outside that read "Guestroom"

She spun on her heel as the door slammed, but decided that it was only the wind and looked back behind her. "This is beautiful." she did smile as she put a hand on the rail of the stair case. She chose the third door at the main level to go through.
