The man shrugged and turned, going to a filing cabinet. "It was built by a man named Bartholomew Archenstein. About... 60 years ago, his reason being to settle down." He pulled out a thin file and looked through it. "Nothing much else. No blueprints, they were taken after teh manor was built." he handed the file to Cody. "As far as we know it is abandon. There was strict orders to never trespass. So you can understand my interest when a stranger decides to look into it."

Jocelyn went straight to the windows, no more curious adventures for her. No sir. She opened the curtains, sneezing as dust flew at her from disturbing them.
"Excuse me, um..." She couldn't tell if it was a man or woman. "I got an invite and I was wondering what we are doing here?" Then she quickly added. "It is a lovely house." she hoped that she didn't sound to rude. After what happened with that dude a few minutes ago.
@ Jocelyn
THe windows were barred.

When she got close, the lightning flashed. Sitting in the chair was a dead person, the flesh rotting and oozing. HIs arms looked impaled into the armrests by butcher knives, and blackish blood oozed out of the wounds.
But when you got closer it was nothing more than a pile of miscellaneous items covered in a tarp. The tarp could be removed.

Jocelyn groaned as she looked at the long cast iron bars that covered the window. "Seriously?" she whined. She was trapped in this creepy place with no way out, she was starting to think she was going crazy.

The tarp moved, and a tall figure was standing above her, silent as the dead.

Jocelyn turned, almost running into the figure. She screamed, jumping back and toppling over backwards into the boxes that were covered in sheets.

The canvas fell, and there was nothing. THe boxes were just filled with random objects you would find in a storage room.

Jocelyn squirmed around in the boxes trying to get to her feet again, she was hyperventilating now, and her heart was pounding in her chest. "Help! Somebody!!" she yelled out.

@ Jocelyn (You are at 4 insanity.)
Nobody came. Eventually she got out of the boxes. Everything looked normal enough. Nearby was a closet, unlocked. Also the door was still open.

Jocelyn had tears welling up in her eyes, this was too much for her to handle. She got up and walked out of the room, briskly walking down the hallway. Her eyes moved from side to side in panic as she walked, her skin crawling with goosebumps.

The hallway turned left. This time no doors. Ahead she could see that the path turned left again.
(Roll 1d10 for willpower)

She turned left down the hallway, everything was different from what it was. What the heck was going on with this place? She headed down this hallway, seeing that it turned left again.

she was back out in the hallway. There was one door, and then the path turned left after a bit.

Suddenly, an alarm started to go off through the town. It was a tornado warning signal.
Eugene planted his feet on each side of the vine and began scaling. Dang hands were going to be cut, dang body was soaked, and dang treed area wasn't any better.
After a grunt of effort, the man had his boots slam into the ground after the resounding thunk of his shovel. Eugene bent down to pick his shovel up, turning the wood over to have his palms facing upwards in the lightning.
"Bloody plants..."
It was true.

(hands are badly cut. Actions with hands will be more difficult until treated.)
He was in a treed area. The clear was several yards away, and the rain wasn't making things easy. Then, all at once, the rain stopped around him. The air was deathly still.

Jocelyn continued down the hall, making the turn. She was done with rooms, especially after the last incident. She rounded the corner, ready to bolt at a moments notice.
@ Jocelyn
The hall turned left, and she was At three rooms, one of which was open slightly, the other two were locked.
... She had continuously made left turns.

Cody shrugged and adjusted his leather jacket a little. "And I guess there are rumors about ghosts and what not. Did the guy who built it say why he wanted no trespassers?"
