Sometimes it would be nice to be able to hide a page from public view. A few examples.
You want to prevent meta in dice based games. IE someone seeing you have a certain skill deficiency and use that against you without learning that IC. Hiding your stat page could fix that.
Groups or for GM use. Maybe you have a reference page of information but the players aren't privy to it until they get that far or whathave you.
This would let you have it ready in advanced.
Or maybe you have NPCs who stats don't need to be revealed, so on and so forth.
These are just a few examples of how page visibility could be beneficial.

For groups I believe there is a bbcode tag made so only the founder, mods, and group gm's can see what is written inside. Sp there's that! I think 'gm' is the tag for it, but I haven used it in months.
I'm curious though, what is the difference to you between page (in)visibility, and just not putting the information you want to hide from prying eyes on the profile?

Groups have the gm-only BBCode tag for sections of a page (anyone can use this -- players can post info on the forums, for example, and only their GM will see it.)
But groups also have full page visibility control at the top of every page of the group profile. It's a dropdown.. Page visible to... everyone/members only/GMs & Editors only/Moderators & editors only/GMs, moderators and editors only
There's no equivalent for characters at present, though it's something that spins in the back of my mind a lot.

Coo :o Just got to thinking about it the other day. I'm not so sure there'd be many players that use the feature, but I'm sure there's a few.
I'm certain there would be!

So for example. I have information I want to reference for myself. Maybe for dice rolls or whathave you. I want it to still be tucked nice and organized with the rest of my character. This safeguards the information with the character. If I lost the character on here then its not as big a deal as having the character but losing that vital information. Also this allows me to make that information publicly known if a situation arises that calls for it.
Actually I want to +1 this idea! I have tabletop characters where I want to list their stats for personal usage but I've had to hide the information so ... hopefully the other players haven't found it
I also +1 this idea. I'd love to be able to hide information without having to use acronym.
