It had taken him several long, frustrating days but Dart finally managed to stumble through the gates of the town. Covered in dirt and grime, his hair was plastered to his face, a large bruise beginning to show on his cheek. That was from the bear. The creature had gotten in a good shot, but Dart had eaten for three days afterwards. What he could salvage of it's coat was now represented in a kind of kilt around his waist, as his actual pants had been torn beyond shreds in the fight.
What town is this? He thought to himself, one arm covering his rib cage as he stumbled forwards. There werent many people around, but what little there was kept their distance from him. His poor footing took the young man towards the town center. He stumbled, then plunged face first into the fountain their.
Cold, crisp water washed over hi features, and the man relaxed enough to surface and shake away the water from his green eyes. After peering into the water's depths he chuckled a bit. "No wonder no one will come near me. What a sight!" He glanced towards the nearest person brave enough to look at him.
"Oy, you! Where is the nearest inn ey?"

Sitting on a bench near the town fountain was a girl with long, delicate blonde hair, a book in her soft hands. She wore a soft purple dress with black detailing, her bare feet peeking out from her skirt. She looked up when someone approached the fountain, causing her to close her book. She stood from the bench, cautiously stepping over. no one stopped her because she was viewed as a simpleton. She rarely spoke, and when someone confronted her, she barely said a word. Looking over him, she nodded to his question. "There is one here." She said softly, holding her book close.
After running his hands through his shaggy hair, Dart blinked in surprise. He had never heard a voice so delicate before. "Well..." He hesitated, then fell into a fit of self-conscious chuckles. "I know I don't look like much.."
He gestured to the fur covering his lower body, then grasped what was left of his shirt between his for-finger and thumb, giving it a little tug. "But I do have a bit of coin on me. Show me the inn ya? This town is confusing!"

She gave a nod to him, turning and walking towards the inn, where she stayed. She was found outside of town, half a mile passed out by the ocean. Her dress was damp, some assuming she had washed up from a shipwreck.
(I'm....confused....is this information Dart should have? Is she telling him...or did she disappear then reappear near the ocean?)
((No, it was more or less insight on where she came from, and that she's not a resident of the town. it's suppose to add mystery, I suppose.))
"So uhh...How far away is this place anyway?" He asked, noticing they had turned around and were leaving the town.
She turned to him, pointing at a building right beside the gates. It was built there for travelers whom were weary and didn't have the energy to walk all the way into the middle of town. She walked inside, gesturing for him to follow her to the front of the inn.
How strange.. He murmured. He hadn't noticed the inn at all when he came in, not that he had been paying particular attention to his surroundings either. When the girl entered the inn, he followed, still slightly perplexed.
She lead him to the front counter, where a woman stood to take his request. Yveine simply walked away, keepingh er gaze low as she sat on a bench near the door.
Dart coughed, clearing his throat, and turned to the woman at the desk. "I uh...I've got money, I just need a room." He stammered, searching his many tattered pockets before finding a small coin pouch. He glanced at the girl that brought him here, curious about her.
