We are a Loose Dragonlands based dream in Imaginarium, in the game Furcadia. We are a constant work in progress and cannot grow without the help of a community! We are looking for positions to be filled here. Join our Furc group here. We are working on a new map, but it won't be ready for a while.

Here is some info on the dream and setting
Yveridia is a seedy little settlement located between Pinemoor and Oakway, a practical stones throw from either. It is off the well traveled paths and is surrounded by thick bramble that isolates it from the rest of the Silvat region of Kasuria. It's about 6 hours from Silver Soul's Castle, but up to 8 depending on weather conditions to and from the location. Another location reachable from Yveridia would be Eileadora, which is located through a portal that connects the two locations through some obscure trade agreement and mutual respect for one another.

The World Trade Expo is a fair and festival that encourages inventors, mages, warriors, and tradesmen to come and display their talents for the world. Bring your creations to show, come and see interesting sights and acts.
If you'd like to sign up to do an exhibition post here for our records. Name of the Character, what they will displaying, day and time of the week best for you IRL. Please use Central Standard Time to denote when. It is required that you do play Furcadia.

Yveridia functions much like a City-State would. They have their own culture, laws, and even currency which keeps them independent from larger nations. Though the threat of assimilation or being conquered is always there, for some reason the small city-state stays clear of outside influence, other than trade of course. The leader is known as the Provost and his guard the Wolves. Together they keep the uneasy peace and order in town. Along with the Provost there are several positions and people of influence. One such place is the Darkness over Dawn Trading Company. Its rumored that the storefront in Yveridia is the headquarters of the global trading conglomerate. However, these are just rumors and only true citizens of the town and of course those in employ to the company truly know. The company has its own detail of armed guards and trade caravans come in and out of town. It is the largest employer in town in terms of work force.
Yveridia is also split into two sections. The High District, also known as The Face, or the Wealth Quarter, and of course the Low District, known as the Cesspool, True Yveridia and most commonly the Slums. Most of the citizenry live in the Slums and the true nature of the town is that of the slums. Members of the slums who often engage in criminal activity are known as the Rats.
The Rats sometimes bribe the Wolves to keep themselves out of jail and both factions pull ahead. The Rats have opportunity to move up, and the Wolves make a nice living off the extra coin. They need the bribes to make a decent living and the Rats need the Wolves to look the other way so they can just survive. Its hard in the slums without resulting to crime, but not impossible.
This uneasy balance has been established by the First Provost and held by all Provost following. It is the core, the heart of Yveridia. The Rats attempt to claw to the top and the Wolves keep them down and feed off the Rat's efforts. It keeps an uneasy balance and peace. On the surface you may assume you're safe, but the rule of thumb in Yveridia there's always a dagger around the corner.
Tech level is around Renaissance level, but era setting is Medieval Fantasy.
