Alright, so I've been thinking about this for a long while, and I've finally decided to pitch this RP out there. Basically, Shadowrun/Shadowrun-ish type RP. Can be set in the High Arc Super City or another setting if the players favor another setting more-so. The Current setting for this RP is described in my character's profile, so go on and have a look if ye be interested.
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Further future, perhaps visit mars or upload your brain
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.

Shadowrun is... Kind of Cyberpunk. It IS set in the future, and there IS stuff like "jacking" into matrixes and such, and cyborg-ish limbs which have deploy-able weapons, but it's not entirely about cyberspaces and technology. Shadowrun is set in the future (not flying car future, but cyberspaces, jacking, and synthetic limbs) where something happens to create meta-humans. (Basically Elves, Dwarves, Orks, Trolls, ect) Whatever happened caused magic to return to earth, granting people abilities to use the arcane as weapons and other such things rather than just modern guns, and other things. It's a lot to explain, but that's basically what the setting of Shadowrun is.

I'm quite interested in this. I have been looking for something to play as Dyno, although I'm not sure it'll perfectly fit. I don't remember if shadowrun allows for sentient robots and the like. Then again, Dyno is meant more for a gamma world type game.

True, but you can never know. But since it's only inspired by shadowrun, it'll probably work.
I think it'd be safe to assume there are, I could do some wiki-reading to confirm.
I don't think there are, but the title of this topic does say "Shadowrun-ish" so we could probably add in things of our own. Draken does get the final say though.
