I've been around RPR for some while, but I usually take time before attempting to merge into a new community. This place is pretty neat though, so here I am at last =D

I've been roleplaying for about...6, 7-ish years? Oh my, has it really been that long already? I've done some RP on forums and WoW (and god have mercy on me...RUNESCAPE.) but I mostly stick to Furcadia for now. In my years I've hopped all around Furc until finally settling down in Northkeep, where I stayed until its dying breath, and then I hopped off to help run Skuldhellir with the rest of the remaining crew. It's currently on open beta, though, so I'm not sure how attractive it might be to some as it still needs some tweaking :)

I mainly RP fantasy around the medieval era, though I'm open to sci-fi and later settings as well. I read a lot, so I simply watch RPs as often as I do them myselves.
Fantasy or not, I do often tend to cling onto realism. Not realism as in our real world, but well thought out concepts and worlds. One of my pet peeves is people pulling stuff out of their asses because it looks cool, despite making no sense on the character or in the setting they're in. Of course, there's always the it's magic excuse, but I've never been one to look at magic as THE solution for everything that normally wouldn't make sense. I like to think of magic as having strict laws and regulations, just as real life physics do, with pros and cons to stuff you do with it, and that even magical beings follow a sort of evolutionary path. E.g. I see magic as an extension of nature, not as some excuse to do whatever you want.

But hey, that's just me. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who like to have no boundaries to their fantasy (after all, Imagination is the limit ;)) and I respect their opinions, even though I'll most likely not RP with them. After all, it's not because none of my characters would interact with yours (be the reasons IC/OOC) that we can't get along OOCly :).

TL&DR? ;p

Hi! =D
You, sir, have my respect.

...and my wallet. Give it back.

Woo, respect, I like that.

Unfortunately, your wallet is now on a horse.

Aw, you son of a bitch.
Amen brothah!
Oh geez you and me could probably talk about how magic should be used until the universe unraveled itself and imploded.

But yeah, hi! :D

I wouldn't mind that. I'm an amateur writer and I -adore- world-building. And with world-building I don't mean taking Middle Earth and tweaking it slightly XD Another one of my pet peeves, sadly, non-originality. I personally think blatant copying should keep itself to fan forums, as that's what they're made for :) Taking some old ideas and giving it an awesome twist, however, is something I wouldn't mind discussing. After all, we have to recycle! =D

Don't feel bad! Just use some Axe. It's for men who'd rather be on women than on a horse! (DISCLAIMER: women are not very suited as a long-distance mode of transportation. The writer of this sentence is generally female-friendly as well, so please no hitting/scratching/biting/screaming.) Also, have some chicken. Did I forget to mention I can be random at times? It's good fun, no? =D
Wow! You sir, seem like a very good person to RP with! :D
I do adore fantasy/medieval because it has a wonderful wide range of possibilities, but I completely agree with your pet peeves; there has to be SOME logic to it!

Also, your comeback to Andryn just won you top spot in my 'awesome people' list. That was fantastic.
Even though I'm a woman, and would truly rip apart anyone who tried to use me for transporation, I find that amazingly awesome.

Congratulations. You are now a very awesome person.

Hmmm...Do I still get to pay you in RP if I beat you up to get to Andryn, Earendill? O=)

Alright, what's going on here? I'm afraid this is too silly. And we can't have that. So I must ask you to stop being silly right away!

I don't see why not. No better way to get to know someone than to rough them up a bit. =D
